“You need to spic it up more, Carlito!” - Vince McMahon

Jordan 04-08-2022 07:12 PM

Tony is gonna ruin it. I am not able to support someone like this guy, he's pathetic.

#1-norm-fan 04-08-2022 07:51 PM

Agreed. Very embarrassing that a money mark nerd with Asperger’s books a better weekly wrestling show than Vince McMahon.

Bad News Gertner 04-09-2022 12:54 AM

Not true. Vince gets better ratings, therefore it's better.

XL 04-09-2022 04:28 AM

True.

#1-norm-fan 04-09-2022 10:02 AM

Vince books NXT now doesn’t he?

:o

#1-norm-fan 04-09-2022 10:06 AM

In all seriousness if ratings directly reflected quality, Raw would have somehow managed to hit 0 viewers at some point. It is shockingly bad television.

Bad News Gertner 04-09-2022 01:19 PM

That's just opinion. Ratings are facts. Therefore Raw and Smackdown are the two best wrestling shows on t.v.

#1-norm-fan 04-09-2022 01:28 PM

You’re forgetting the fact that my opinion matters 3 million times more than the goobers who watch and enjoy bad television.

#1-norm-fan 04-09-2022 01:30 PM

Guaranteed the majority of the audience who watches and enjoys Raw nowadays does so while eating TV dinners and boogers.

I only do one of those things.

XL 04-09-2022 02:15 PM

The thing is, independent studies have shown that most of Raw and SmackDown’s audience is bots.

Studies would suggest at the very least 25% of Raw and Smackdown's audience is also half of AEW's audience.

XL 04-09-2022 02:36 PM

Obviously that’s the 25% that are real (barely functioning) people.

But by default, everytime they complain about WWE Fans, do they not realize they are also mocking half of their own audience?

XL 04-09-2022 02:48 PM

Sorry again for my ignorance, but who’s complaining about the WWE fans?

Mr. Nerfect 04-09-2022 06:45 PM

AEW needs WWE so bad. They need its shadow to play in. They need something to throw rocks at. They need a culture to respond to. And if the WWE somehow gets better than it currently is, AEW is dead. It’s not notably different enough to thrive even now.

Tony Khan and all his hanger ons

Jordan 04-09-2022 06:51 PM

Tony totally hid this version of himself in the shadows for a while. I really don't like it.

Mr. Nerfect 04-09-2022 07:17 PM

Lol at the idea that people who don’t like AEW are robots. The drones are the ones watching this boring shit.

"Black Wrestlers like me, just Big Swole didn't, but that is because she is not a real wrestler!" ~ Tony Khan

Mr. Nerfect 04-09-2022 07:56 PM

Big Swole is a robot.

Damian Rey 2.0 04-10-2022 12:38 AM

I don’t like it. He just needs to shut up

Mr. Nerfect 04-10-2022 01:45 PM

It’s unfortunate that most wrestling fans are bots programmed to not watch AEW.

What the fuck is a “duballo”? Is it supposed to be a portmanteau of “dub” for “AEDub” and “juggalo”? I really dislike Reddit so f you xrod for polluting TPDub with its stink.

Mr. Nerfect 04-10-2022 04:54 PM

I’ve definitely noticed AEW fans who ask questions like that. “What do we think about this?” They’re looking for meaning and to belong. It’s human. But it’s no use pretending this doesn’t exist.

I can't help it, my Vince McMahon programming algorithm dictates that I must post STAUNCH Anti AEW content, regardless of the site it comes from, beeboopbeepbeep 001100010010011110100001101101110011 :wtf:

It's totally true. There are a lot of spineless people that love pro wrestling because it "kicks ass" and they don't. When I was at AEW live it was like being apart of a constant "wave" (like at a real sports event) But not a physical wave, a vocal one. Everyone wanting to become one voice to become one "character" affecting the show. Sure within that sea of voices you have a couple hundred frenzied fans who are able to steer the ship, but generally speaking it's kind of cult like to be apart of that.

It feels different at AEW than it was at ECW or WWE or TNA. It's a little more "soft" which I guess makes sense because our society is really fucking soft.

A lot of people with healthier relationships to it have been run off too. And I fully put myself in there too. I’m obsessed with wrestling. But the people who just want to watch a film without going into the DVD Extras or reading up about each actor’s entire personal life and just enjoy the content on that readily accessible level has been run off over the years. Now you go to shows with crowds that think they know.

Great number for Rampage.

#1-norm-fan 04-11-2022 06:22 PM

Up 70% from last week in the demo. What the hell happened?

Damn. 1.1 million people tuned out of WWE that night when Roman’s special came on? OUCH!

weather vane 04-11-2022 11:12 PM

Yeah that’s a tough look.

Mr. Nerfect 04-11-2022 11:41 PM

That WrestleMania week bump ain’t gonna last them forever.

xrodmuc316 04-12-2022 02:04 AM

WWE spent at least $1 Million on Cody's Pyro tonight. 1 million, that of course being a number of viewers Dynamite does not get in it's ratings...
