it's a work

Dunno about that, CSL. Zack Ryder seems to be legit pissed at Kane.
|
If you don't think the end of this match was Vince McMahon playing the fiddle while WWE burned, you don't understand wrestling.
|
I dunno about y'all, but I'd rather be entertained and have fun than "understand wrestling" and be a miserable whiny cunt.
|
because St. Jimmy definitely understands wrestling

Fun show, definitely enjoyed it :y:
Kane/Orton - solid match, really liked it. I felt it was risky to start off the show with a match that the audience might have a tough time seeing, but this worked really well. This got a good amount of time, and these two put on a fun show. Not to take anything away from Kane, because I feel he's been putting on good matches lately, but Orton is just the best. The guy doesn't have a bad match. Any wrestler, any style, any match type. Ziggler/Clay - Would rather not see Ziggler get jobbed out to Clay, but I guess that's what happens when you're an amazing seller like Ziggler. He made that headbutt look like a million bucks. The match did it's job, and I'm sure Ziggler will recover. Rhodes/Show - Perfect. Everything about this match was spot on. Time, place on the card, booking, etc. Glad to see Cody back as champ, and Show can move on also. Sheamus/Bryan - Awesome match. Bryan looked like the superior wrestler the entire time, and it really put him over. I'm interested in seeing where he goes from here. Sheamus needed a match like this also, instead of just kicking everyone's ass, he finally looked like an underdog. RyBack squash was fun I guess. Nothing too interesting, but it tells me that WWE actually wants this guy to be decent. Punk/Jericho was a great story. Awesome match, and it delivered. I feel Punk really needed this match, so it can add another dimension to his character, rather than just being the cool, calm, collected sarcastic asshole who out-wrestles people. It was good to see him "get angry" and tell a different story. Both guys are great, and they put on a memorable match. I liked that they both wore street gear too, added a little something to it. Good to see Layla back, and it looks like she can wrestle. Was hoping Kharma, but w/e. Lesnar/Cena was brutal, in a great way. Loved the match, and it made Lesnar look incredible. Also, what in the fuck happened when he sailed over the ropes?! Lucky he's not dead, holy shit. My initial reaction to the finish was "WHY?!" but I'm gonna see how this plays out of course, and it shouldn't take away from the match, because it was awesome. I expect Lesnar to go insane now, and not lose again for a very long time. Cena vs. Lesnar II for the belt is a definite, as I think they'll treat Cena as Brock's "kryptonite", as Lesnar has destroyed everyone since losing to Cena. But yeah, I guess we'll see. Great show :y: |
Hope Layla gets a new theme song. Every time I hear the Lay-Cool music, I think Michelle McCool, never Layla though. :-\
Probably wishful thinking on my part, but I wouldn't mind seeing her go back to <iframe width="420" height="315" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/4hap368Imqo" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe> Freakin' LOVE that song. :y: |
Brock will get his revenge.

The John Cena vs Brock Lesnar match was so awesome, it was so great, that in my opinion it didn't really matter who won the match, in my opinion. I'm not a John Cena fan by any means, but it didn't bother me he won.

She should keep it. It's Lay-Cools theme. She is Lay and she is pretty cool. |
|
The face won 8 out of 9 matches. Can't remember the last PPV that was so face-dominated like that.
|
damn brock isnt the most agile lmfao
|
lol what he's like the most agile 270/280lbs guy around
|
"multiple muscle strains" on .com for Cena

Layla's body looks better than it ever has and she seems to have been seriously working on her wrestling.
|
Yeah, that was one of the smoothest divas matches I've seen in a long time. She should be the focus of the division.
|
Layla has definitely took wrestling to heart. I hope she continues to improve her in-ring ability.

If that is true, then Brock had reason to be upset.

It's Montreal all over again.

Interesting story, if true. Cena really should have been stretchered out and Lesnar should have been made to look like a true monster. Cena winning and then giving his little speech definitely made Lesnar look like a defeated monster, skulking back to his dark cave.
I wonder if Triple H let Lesnar potato him pretty good last night to make up for this botched finish of the show? |
Cena can get away with anything.
|
Sounds like NEWZ that Ryan Clark made up.
Brock Lesnar is a professional. This isnt MMA. |
The fact that it isn't mma makes it more plausible. This kind of stuff happens all the time in wrestling.
It also makes a bit of sense to me. During raw yesterday, I was confused as to why Lesnar seemed so happy. Dude lost, and Cena walked out, on his own volition. Cena fucked up with that speech, imo. Especially considering he's not actually taking time off. |
I don't even think his arm was really hurt, not after how during his beatdown the arm was focused upon, and how Brock Lesnar also focused on Triple H's arm, so it's most likely a storyline thing. So I don't see a reason for that speech Cena did.
But who knows? WWE is so unpredictable these days, you never know. |
Yeah, if it's true, that's a pretty shitty thing to do on Cena's part. Even worse if it was some kind of plan from management just to screw with Lesnar.
At the same time though, Lesnar shouldn't have thrown a tantrum and acted like a child either. |
You gotta remember, though, Brock Lesnar doesn't really need the WWE, the company needs him more than he needs them. So he probably has the mentality of "I come back because I want to, and I get treated like this?" I'm sure he's more focused on the Brock Lesnar brand than anything else.
|
Yeah, Lesnar could retire today, and live the rest of his life in luxury.
Still wouldn't have gotten physical and tore apart a dressing room if I was him, but he certainly had reason to be pissed. |
I dont think that story is too true.
