But covering yourself only works if the zombies aren't already "aware". Like in season one when Glenn and Rick covered themselves in blood and guts, but they still had to act like zombies and be quiet. If they started talking or whatever the zombies would have caught on.

Rammsteinmad 10-27-2015 12:34 PM

Zombie logistics is hard to figure out.

that's the part that confuses me, people are also saying that Talking Dead didn't count him in with the death count montage. Perhaps a whole slew of main cast is getting killed this season and they are saving those for last. I'd like to be wrong. Glenn was starting to grow on me

A whole episode of Zombie Glenn walking around would be awkwardly fantastic, then watch Talking Dead to see how they break it down

Lock Jaw 10-27-2015 02:02 PM

It would actually be "cool" to see an episode (or at least parts of an episode) from a zombie's point of view..... like "Yo dawg, here I am just chilling, looking for some M'F'N food... searching desperately without anything to go on... then I finally find some food and it freaking attacks me..."

Rammsteinmad 10-27-2015 04:55 PM

Would probably get boring after ten minutes.

Kinda why I'm assuming Glen won't die here. Seems like a huge waste to have him go out like that when they could go the comic route.

The short A Ride in the Park from V/H/S 2 wasn't too bad.

Disturbed316 10-31-2015 06:26 AM

Great couple of episodes, The Wolves attacking was pretty brutal.

I can't see Glenn being dead yet, he needs to go the way he went in the comics. Saying that, it will be a real stretch to get him out of it. So glad Nicholas is gone, he was such a twat.

Mercenary 10-31-2015 07:28 AM

Caught up on the comics, and what was kinda a long so so story just got really good

Rammsteinmad 10-31-2015 11:16 AM

How far are the comics right now? I've read up to
SPOILER: show
Carl being with that chick who licked his eye socket, and then she left to join her people, who wore zombie masks.

He followed her, which lead her to them capturing him, Rick following. In the end, the people who wear zombie skin killed a lot of folks, including that black guy who had a lion, that mexican lady Abe used to fuck and some other people.

Yep that's where I be

Disturbed316 11-01-2015 04:33 AM

FTWD is finally being shown over here on free to air TV. Never got round to watching it online so looking forward to it. Along with TWD and Z Nation, there's a lot of zombie action on my box at the moment.

Rammsteinmad 11-01-2015 07:25 AM

I thought Fear was pretty crap.

Disturbed316 11-02-2015 04:43 AM

Loved this Morgan focussed episode, was good to explore the change he undertook from the last time we saw him. It was a pretty chilling ending too.

Sixx 11-02-2015 09:44 AM

I think it'd be cool/funny if they kept teasing Glenn is dead, finally it turns out he somehow survived and like the very same episode he

I haven't seen this episode yet, but he's usually pretty fat as well.

Nevermind. It's one of those guys you know you've seen in a lot movies but can't tell which ones. Though I know for sure he was in Gran Torino.

in a past week filled with no chill for me, it was weird out of all things that TWD would be the hour and a half where I got to chill. It was very peaceful and story well told.

They had me thinking that skinny Heyman was going to be the one behind the wolves for some reason, but my wife didn't leave me so it's all good

Hour and a half?

Is that how much airtime it takes with commercial breaks in the USA?

Heisenberg 11-03-2015 10:29 AM

Secure a toy car in my ass if I'm wrong, but my DVR ran for 90 minutes for the Morgan ep

Ok, I just checked. It's 64 minutes wiithout commercials, so indeed a longer one. Weird that of all episodes they'd decide to make this one that long.

Disturbed316 11-04-2015 01:10 AM

Same here, 90 minutes with ad breaks.

Sixx 11-06-2015 01:18 PM

About Glenn.

SPOILER: show
There are photos of him on the set with Jesus (a new character) so this pretty much confirms he didn't die. Stupid.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan will debut as Negan in the season 6 finale of The Walking Dead.

That's Negan btw

Mercenary 11-11-2015 10:56 AM

Looks like season 7 story is in place

Rammsteinmad 11-11-2015 11:14 AM

Feels so weird to be discussing "season 7" already. Feels like this show has only been on a couple of years.

Disturbed316 11-22-2015 04:09 AM

Finally caught up with the last couple of weeks episodes, nothing major happening but not surprised after the attack. I wonder if it will be Glenn on the other end of the walkie?

Watched the first three episodes of FTWD, so far I'm enjoying it. I feel it's doing a good job at ramping up the tension as to what is coming.

Sixx 11-22-2015 07:53 PM

So who here has seen the leaked footage of Negan and Lucille?

They took it down, can't find it and I am really curious.

Lock Jaw 11-22-2015 11:51 PM

Well, Glenn is alive.

I think any death he is going to have in the future will probably feel anti-climactic now, since he already had one "death scene"....

I have long had it spoiled by people talking about the comics that
SPOILER: show
he dies in the comics, but I'd honestly change that and have him live for a few more seasons at least to make people forget about this "death" and think that he is "safe" again....

Mercenary 11-23-2015 01:09 AM

There are a lot of characters that have different fates in the TV show than in the comics (for example Andrea is still alive in the comics and banging Rick).

I just don't like Glenn and wish he gets his skull bashed in.

Heisenberg 11-23-2015 09:13 AM

Feel terrible for Carl, but at the same time this kid wielding the gun may be a fan of the earlier seasons and worked his way on set to "fiction-shoot" in an attempt to make him pay for being a crappy actor/character. Carl tried to steal his girlfriend who was in the infamous Too Many Cooks video and that may be the log that fuels the fire.

Sixx 11-23-2015 12:11 PM

What are you talking about?

Heisenberg 11-23-2015 02:08 PM

are you caught up?

if not,
SPOILER: show
Enid's BF was last seen following Carl right before the Church tower fell, plus Carl wasn't well liked by many so I'm just trying to think of something non-canon to get me through the week

Sixx 11-23-2015 03:05 PM

Oh, yeah, that.

I just gont confused with you half talking about characters, half about actors. Thought for a minute the kid that plays Carl stole someone's gf or something.

Mercenary 11-25-2015 11:24 AM

Ya know we dont know Glen may not be killed off.The show doesn't a;ways follow the comic. If it did Andrea and Sophia would still be around, and Carol be long gone by now

Disturbed316 11-25-2015 10:38 PM

It will be interesting to see who gets nailed by Negan, I really hope they stick with Glenn.

Also, I get the feeling that this gun crazy kid will be the one who
SPOILER: show
pops Carl in the head during the massive walker invasion.

The end to the last episode had a real 'oh shit' moment, looking forward to next week.

Disturbed316 11-30-2015 04:34 AM

So mid-season finale tonight....

SPOILER: show

Deanna going by way of slow walker bite was a surprise, thought she would have lasted a bit longer and then be torn apart in front of a crowd. Love that she acknowledged Rick's beard growing abilities when she was 'passing the torch' in him in their chat.

Eugene is still a giant pussy and it's quite frustrating, but thankfully he still has the brains. He needs to snap out of it soon, even Gabriel is chipping in with some blows, so if he can do it, so can Eugene.

Really wish Carl finished off Ron, he's such a douche. Liked the little show down the two had after the scuffle, Carl is turning into a man and telling Ron some cold hard facts.

Carol and Morgan had an interesting conflict this episode over the wolf, I knew that would be the outcome though but it hard was to root for either one over the other, especially with Morgan's recent character development.

The final moments of the episode were pretty epic, nice to see the walker guts trick still works. Deanna going out like a beast and the group starting to make their way across the sea of walkers but for it to then just finish when the little dumbass is starting to call out, urgh. At least when the show returns next year, it should go with a bang.

That last 'bonus' scene didn't add too much but it was pretty cool to be introduced to the Saviors. It will be interesting to see how intense Negan will be compared to the comic version as I doubt they will go full whack with him.

Heisenberg 11-30-2015 08:44 AM

they need to bring in a stunt Carl, those fight scenes are worse than the 90s action flick stuff you'd see on Cinemax

Kalyx triaD 11-30-2015 01:36 PM

Given the circumstance it would be simpler to have Chandler tussle around a garage on cam. The woman who did stunts for Carl would probably be too easy to make out in such a tightly shot scene as well.

Heisenberg 11-30-2015 02:07 PM

That or it's just good acting showcasing that Carl is not on Rick's level of combat yet. Two teenage boys fighting can be awkward, but I figured it'd be different in the WD universe

Sixx 02-09-2016 06:53 AM

heh

Disturbed316 02-15-2016 04:15 AM

Incredible episode tonight, so much death and gore. Feel they could have ended on the mid season break with
SPOILER: show
Carl getting shot
though. Glad Michone took care of business, but the look of panic on her face was scary to see as it's something that has rarely happened before.

Also Rambo Rick

Rammsteinmad 02-15-2016 10:32 AM

Awesome episode, which stuck pretty true to the comics (other than a few bits here and there). Was touching when people started to come out to help Rick.

It's just a shame (for them, not us) that they're victory will be short-lived.

Lock Jaw 02-15-2016 05:24 PM

Did not expect that whole family to be wiped out.... damn.... would have thought the mom that Rick wanted to bone would have survived at least....

Weird at Carl getting shot in the eye.... What kind of trajectory could that bullet have taken to not kill him....

One from a tv show

Rammsteinmad 02-15-2016 11:12 PM

Carl has an adamantium skeleton.

Lock Jaw 02-21-2016 11:45 PM

Good to see Rick and Daryl find Jesus

Seems like an interesting character

Disturbed316 02-22-2016 04:31 AM

Praise Jesus! Loved the fact he managed to keep escaping situations

Totally unexpected Michonne/Rick butt at the end  Obviously forgot about what's her name pretty quickly...(even with the time jump)

Disturbed316 02-22-2016 05:00 AM

FYI the time jump was two months, in case it wasn't obvious for some.

Sixx 02-22-2016 09:19 AM

rick and michonne

ugh

Rammsteinmad 02-22-2016 11:13 AM

Jesus looks like a guy that would hog the radio on a road trip and play Buckcherry's Greatest Hits, but when he opens his mouth it's all good and the thought of Buckcherry fades into the wind

Sixx 02-22-2016 12:25 PM

buckcherry has "greatest hits"?

Icame4Hookers 02-22-2016 12:52 PM

Actually thought this episode was good. I want Carl to die though, he's just not going anywhere in this episode. Also starting to like Jesus.

Lock Jaw 02-22-2016 04:47 PM

Flashed back to "Carl on the farm" and yelled "Dammit, Carl, stay in the walls" at the screen during the episode....

Disturbed316 02-29-2016 04:01 AM

Hilltop didn't look as impressive as it did in the comics, still, good to see them get there and ever so closer to Negan arriving.

Rammsteinmad 02-29-2016 12:28 PM

Shit! Am dreading next episode!

Crimson 02-29-2016 10:47 PM

Feel like they can't kill Glenn for awhile now after that "cop out" mid-season..... Maggie prob gonna die, though....

Disturbed316 03-01-2016 11:36 PM

I think it's a tie at the moment between Abraham, Glenn and Daryl, could really be any of them.

Daryl would be the biggest shocker though. Glenn is the preferred favourite and Abraham would be shocking, but not have the gut punch compared to the others.

Sixx 03-06-2016 08:47 PM

just did some catching up

can't stand how dirty daryl is

i get that being manly is his shtick, but fuck's sake, he was clean when it all started, why can't he fuckin shower once, now that they all do

bet rick couldn't stand that car ride with daryl

Rammsteinmad 03-07-2016 08:48 AM

Holy fuck what a tense episode that was! I'm getting more and more scared for when Negan debuts or when some kinda revenge goes down on Rick and co. It's not gonna be good for them.

Crimson 03-07-2016 06:20 PM

So are those women with Negan?

Disturbed316 03-07-2016 11:17 PM

Probably just some of his higher ranking Saviours.

Was a good episode, really tense at times. But Negan is going to really fuck them up now.

Sixx 03-08-2016 10:39 AM

Really? Thatd be badass though if they were his wives and also deadly with weapons

Disturbed316 03-09-2016 01:37 AM

Also, I don't know why Glenn was being such a pussy about killing people as I'm sure he killed a few during the first attacks on the prison. Am I wrong about this?

Sixx 03-09-2016 04:21 AM

Actually, he's never killed anyone.

Disturbed316 03-11-2016 03:11 AM

:o

Six seasons without killing a human, that's rather impressive (i.e bad)

Sixx 03-11-2016 06:27 AM

He's a bitch. I hate how they try and make him a badass on the show (that whole stuff with Nicolas, etc.), he was always kind of a pussy in the comic.

Disturbed316 03-11-2016 03:49 PM

Yeah, he needs to be killed and fingers crossed that's soon.

Disturbed316 03-14-2016 05:25 AM

Don't....fuck....with.....Carol.....

That ending in the kill floor was brutal.

Also, god-damn Maggie is so freaking hot.

Rammsteinmad 03-14-2016 09:58 AM

Can't understand why Carol and Maggie were so torn up about all the killing this time around, but whatever. Good episode. :D

Crimson 03-14-2016 01:52 PM

So saviors are a bunch of jobbers thus far

Heisenberg 03-15-2016 01:27 PM

They were level 1 peons, Negan sheep,,,,, if you will

Kalyx triaD 03-15-2016 01:46 PM

Liked that Carol had a rival of sorts with that lady who seemed like a darker version of Carol. Kinda wished she stayed around.

WD likes to play archetypes with certain characters and I guess we have a ninja with Jesus. There has to be a Michonne, Jesus, Morgan melee action focused episode. Morgan's special episode was basically a kung fu story anyway. Rick and Daryl had their buddy cop thing. I want a martial arts squad episode.

If Gabrielle can quote bible verses before executing dudes on a regular that would be great.

Somebody's getting that bat. My money's on Maggie. Though Carol and Daryl seems more likely now.

Crimson 03-15-2016 07:03 PM

Well if Gabriel is going to be reciting Bible verses he'll need his Vincent Vega beside him ..maybe Eugene

Sixx 03-15-2016 07:29 PM

well, gabriel is already a better character than he ever was in the comics

Heisenberg 03-16-2016 02:09 AM
