The new pve mode game is hard as hell on legendary. Doubt I will beat it. Found it surprising only like .18% or some shit had the achievement for Expert when I got it earlier today. It took me like 5 tries but it seriously isn't that hard for almost no one to have it.

After i'm done messing with this PVE, I think i'm going to try to play Pharah. I've lost like 12 straight games. I'm starting to think it's me.

I gave up trying to beat the legendary status for pve.

Granted I tried to like twice but I am only good enough with Soldier. Can't really round out the team correctly. My Ana barely made it in Expert.

Being in the low ratings is brutal. You need to be able to carry games if you want to advance. That is why I played Mei for like 40 hours straight which brought me from silver to platinum in 1 competitive season.

What helps you rank up is being with a good team. Not attitude, not even so much playing your main. I've had the best games I ever had last season while also having losing streaks like you wouldn't believe.

You need a good team, you can't lone wolf this game. A good team acknowledges each other's characters. Even without a mic they know when to help focus fire, heal or be healed, ult, all of that. If a team's not doing that it won't matter who you pick or what korean comp you're emulating. Gotta have at least half the team on the same page, otherwise it's hell.

I was able to carry the team more times than not with Mei. I just became so good (by practicing in quick play) that my skill level was way above those in silver.

MY is right to a point as you don't want to stagger in and such after being killed. But you can't rely on your teams to get the W. Especially when you are at a low tank. You need to be the boss.

Mei, IMO, is the most versatile hero in the game besides orb healing guy. She can off tank, long range dps after you get good enough with her weapon, can easily backdoor freeze/1 shot the healer/sniper, and the wall makes it SUPER easy to get picks. Meis big downfalls is not doing a lot of damage so shield hero's may be a problem. Not really an issue though in silver since everyone typically sucks.

Yeah, I would say that at gold and silver, it's entirely possible to carry a team if you're good enough. Not against a good, well coordinated team, but those are few in number at that level anyhow.

I got 80s Zarya and that's all I needed from the event. And I got zombie Pharah with coins. I reduce the stress of lame loot boxes by stacking two or three and opening them at once. Sure to get something worth a damn.

Highest i got last season was 1937. Ended at 1127. I cant let that be the end.

Been doing well this season in terms of individual performance. Running Dva mostly this season but like last season with Zarya I'm having great plays but no payoff as a team. And I'm very often being asked to change during set-up despite a) picking first (frankly the last few to choose should consider the first three choices, not the other way around) and b) I end up doing well anyway.

In a case where nobody locks down a character after a few seconds the first two characters to pop up, in my opinion, dictates the composition. Call it 'Deference to Conviction'. If I see an Orisa and then a Torb, I have a pretty good idea how I should add to that. I'm not gonna criticize those first two or three picks while being an indecisive pussy waiting for people to pick to I can 'commentate'.

Still I've had some good wins with teams. It's just the losses were so avoidable. And I don't wanna revert back to how I was in my Halo and Battlefield days cause it's just weird to me telling people what to do now.

There's a button under highlight that just says Save. Click that and pick your quality options (can render better than your PC can even handle in Realtime, like I super sample 4x the resolution of 4k) then it tells you where it saved it.

I might just start playing Reaper to grind. I'm a decent Soldier, but there are better and I think I should move aside.

So Moira is live on consoles. Amazing character...she won't get a lot of kills on her own, but using those orbs in battles rack up the assist kills, and her "dash" move recharges quick enough to pop in and out of battle. A lot like Orisa in the sense that there's a lot of moves/cool downs to pay attention to, but if you can manage the timing correctly, they can put odds in your favor.

She's fucking cool.

They typically disable new characters in comp until players get a handle on them.

Otherwise you get people being toxic everytime the new character is picked, because they don't trust anyone to be good enough with them so soon. And they're often correct.

she is really OP. I went through medium level AI and was kill streaking at 10 and healing with no problem.
