LMAO @ another Angel pitcher throwing a WP with a man on 3rd. What a bunch of fucking choke-artists. Talking about throwing a lead out the window. Best team in the AL my ass

LMFAO @ K-Rod.
Angels = best team in AL!!!!!!!!!!!! |
Still dieing over here, I hope you guys watch Baseball Tonight. Bottom 9th of a 4-4 game with the winning run on 3rd, K-Rod throws a ball and is pissed at the call. To show frustration he stabs his glove at the ball on Molina's throwback, misses it, and Kendall scores. LOL
Angels = best team in AL |
Yeah, they really THREW away the game.
But hey, a win is a win. A'SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSssssss |

BTW, Chicago's record against the 3 other AL playoff teams if the season ended today is 8-12.

Although they do remind me alot of the 2001 Mariners, except we beat good teams instead of beating up the AL Central like a bunch of big bullies
Wow, pretty brutal head first collision between Cameron and Beltran. Cameron was taken off the field on a stretcher.
Jays are making their run. Down go the Tigers
Quote:
Yeah that collision with Beltran and Cameron, ouch. both doing headfirst dives for the ball and smashing into each other. Like a car wreck. Big Vito, I blame you. You and your bad karma.
Oh what the fuck gay ass Cameron broke like 8 bones :( not gonna see him play

Wow, just turned to FSN and Johan has a shutout with two outs in the ninth. Kotsay got on, Crosby walked, now Chavez is up.
LEWWWWWWWWWW
Three hitter, 9 strikeouts, Cy Young? Lol, please!
Men on 2nd and 3rd for M's againt the Angels, Fat ass Donnelly on the mound, wild pitch here we come!
Random question: How come Donnely isn't on MVP?
Also, Haren is such a stud too. Overshadowed by Johan tonight, but he went nine innings with one earned run, three hits, two walks, and four strike outs. It would be kind of nice to see the A's finally win in the playoffs, if they can keep their players they will be insane next year. |
The only player they're in danger of losing is Zito and he wants to stay. They'll be back.
Mike Cameron: Next Wally Pipp
Wow, has anybody seen the new jumbotron at Turner? The Braves are on Fox now, but look at it
http://www.scamcity.co.uk/journal/?p=764 |
yeah didn't they have it last night, stupid braves
HOT
Palmeiro is finally playing today. I hope McGowan K's him at least 3 times
I don't know why they didn't put Palmeiro into the first game of the series against the Jays when the Jays were up 12-0
The Giants released Kirk Reuter, go get him Cashman!
lol @ the welcome back cheater sign in Baltimore.
Reuter? That might be a good pickup for the D-Backs. They need anything right now. If its not starting, then its the bullpen and vice versa.
Vasquez gave up 9 runs today. Bruney came in to relieve, didn't do too much either. |

Hey what was the song they played at Braves after someone hit a home run, post fifth inning I think
Here after Kelly Johnsons homerun, http://mlb.mlb.com/NASApp/mlb/multim...e.jsp?c_id=atl
Philadelphia's getting the Wildcard
Yeah so Schilling is a really shitty closer. Like Arthur Rhodes-bad.
I love both songs the Braves play after huge hits. I would put them on my iPod if I could find them.
Sugar Hill Gang - Apache
Why the hell are they still using Schilling as a closer anyway?

LOL, nice defence there, Manny. Too bad Erstad could have turned that into an inside the park HR
Wakefield just took of shot off his ankle. Ahahaha, although I think Wakefield is an alright person, I love it for the fact it's the Bosox. Go Jays!
3.5 games back bitches. Sweep of the god damn mother fucking overrated White Sox. The A's are 4-6 in their last 10. Johan and Radke are back to form. Lew Ford is clutch again. Joe Mauer is more of a ladies man then your hometown hero. Hope has temporarily returned to Twinsville.
A Twins-Cardinals World Series would be fucking unbelievable (basically everybody at school is from St. Louis) but lets not get too ahead of ourselves. One game at a time. |
Not gonna happen. 4 team race now, NYY, OAK, LAA, CLE.
JAYSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS
What? How are the Twins out of it being only three games back and having just won 6 of 7 games against the White Sox and A's?
Who are both in incredible slumps. Call me when they beat a good team playing well
By the way, Richard Sexson > the Twins.
Haha remember that time someone was talking about wasted money and you posted a picture of him? He currently has 32 homers and 90 rbi to go along with an OPS over .900. The Twins sure could use him, considering their current lineup consists of Joe Mauer, Shannon Stewart, and seven bums. |
THE ROYALS WIN!!!!
Damn, I really wanted them to go 0-August!
lol
Schillings back in the starting rotation.
Timlin is the closer for now. Foulke had a simulated game, 2nd or 3rd pitch Trot Nixon hit, hit Foulke in the arm, he's ok and I think has another simulated game this week. He doesn't want any rehab in the minors, but the Sox always send a pitcher their first of the DL. It's possible with him being a closer they won't. I still think next year you'll see Foulke as a starter. |
Schilling vs the Royals on Thrusday
fuck.
STFUUUUUUUUUUU
what the hell am I saying fuck for. Yanks are half a game back now
Thank God for the Royals. The only team keeping the Rocks from being the worst team in baseball.
The A's are slipping
So spending millions of dollars on a huge bat so that your team can rot in the cellar is a good decision? You got me.
If the Kansas City Royals sign a huge bat this off-season, will they be a playoff contender? Rockies? Pirates?
The Mariners were very bad in 2004. Very, very bad. So bad that no matter who they brought in - even if it was Lee, Pujols, or ARod - they would still be very bad in 2005. This team lost 99 games last year, they will not lose that many this year. Had they not signed Sexson, they would've lost more. The Mariners are not a team that was one piece away from being a contender. They were, and still are, several piece away from being a contender. Sexson was one piece and a step in the right direction. He is one of the premier power hitters in the AL and has met everyone's expectations. If you hadn't noticed Seattle has the best pitching prospect in the game as well as a plethora of good young talent. Felix Hernandez, Mike Morse, Jeremy Reed, Jamal Strong and Yuni Betancourt all have bright futures. People love to rag Beltre but people forget he has played in the NL with the same organization since he was 16. He will never hit 48 homers again but he can still be very good. He is still only 26. Sexson is the least of our problems. |
I doubt they'll make the playoffs if their moron manager doesn't shift that lineup. Beane also needs to bring up Daric Barton and wipe Scott Hatteberg and Bobby Kielty from existence.
A's are gonna choke
Thanks for your insight
Bobby Kielty, Jays traded him to the A's. Forget what they got...
Ted Lilly, who wasn't that good so it makes me hate Kielty a little less that they didn't really give up anything. Kielty would be ok if he would stop switch hitting, he is the worst left handed hitter of all time.
Also if I remember correctly the Jays traded Shannon Stewart to the Twins for Kielty straight up, talk about trade-rape
I think the Jays gopt a pitching prospect, but I forget. Stewart was always getting hurt and seemed to have lost his ambition in Toronto. He had to be moved.
Also Lilly has been 'ok' on the Jays. Better than Kielty or Stewart would be.
Francisco Lariano
God damned Jays. They get back into the playoff hunt and then get swept by the Tigers. So much for the 4 game series being worth a damn. 15-0 Tigers right now.
Ouch.
Why cant they beat bad teams?
FUCK RANDY JOHNSON.
Back-to-back-to-back HRS, two base hits, then a 3R HR. Couldn't of happened to a better man. |
It's funny, once the Red Sox knew Perdo was gone, everyone wanted Randy and/or Pavano....
Guess sometimes it works out not getting what you want. |
I don't know what suprised me more...
Renteria's first HR in over 200 AB OR David Ortiz butting onto base with the bases empty. He keeps saying he was going to do in cause of the "shift" and he did... LMFAO. |
Went to the Mets game today...strangely, the biggest highlight was riding in the elevator with Keith Hernandez on the way to the Diamond Club
Can't remember the last time I've booed so much in a game (most of the booing coming in the first inning) Though it was cool with Mike Jacobs...first big league game, AB, hit, pinch hit, HR, and first 3 RBIs  |

Johan and Nathan combine for a three hit shutout, Jacque Jones home run is only hit for Twins in 1-0 victory over the White Sox.
I can't believe ESPN didn't pick this game up, Johan vs. Garcia is about as good of a pitching matchup as you can get right now in the AL. |
Nice, Reyes is on fire. He's getting his deep swing back, been hitting them like 400 feet in the past three games.
Has anyone read up on the Bradley/Kent thing in LA?
Bradley: Kent doesn't understand black players LOS ANGELES (AP) - Milton Bradley accused Los Angeles Dodgers teammate Jeff Kent of a lack of leadership and an inability to deal with black players. http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/4802848 |
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA'SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS SSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSs are choking :(

What happens when Moron Ken Macha makes 2 or 3 little tweaks that the Miz has eben suggesting for weeks?
Mark Ellis leading off: 1-3 HR Adam Melhuse in the lineup: 3-3, double Jason Kendall's sub-.650 ops wiped from existence Whenever he makes a lineup change after an offensive drought, everyone on the team plays better. Crosby, Kotsay, and Chavez have all homered tonight. 9-0 Oakland. The Miz for AL Manager of the Year. |
Fucking Red Sox lost it in extras
Manny got another RBI though |
Three players from the Mets tonight were one hit each from hitting the cycle.

Good 'ol Shilling and his holier than tho attitudes and opinions are back.
Schilling questions Palmeiro's credibility BOSTON (AP) - Red Sox pitcher Curt Schilling said Wednesday that Rafael Palmeiro has "no credibility" to talk about steroids, and the Baltimore slugger's achievements should be wiped from baseball's record books. http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/4806414 |
Orioles' Ponson charged with drunken driving
BALTIMORE (AP) - Sidney Ponson was arrested early Thursday on a drunken-driving charge, the latest legal problem for the Baltimore Orioles pitcher. http://msn.foxsports.com/mlb/story/4808108 |
Mike Jacobs: 2 HR, 2B, 1B, 4 RBI. (Four HR in four games)
Jose Reyes: HR, 3B, 1B, 4 RBI. David Wright: 2 HR, 2B, 1B, 2 RBI. Reyes is hitting like crazy. Like three home runs in his last six games or something. Last time a team won two consecutive games on the road by 13 or more runs was 1936 Yankees  |
LOL Sidney Ponson wasn't he like Kerry Collins, there was a big ramjam about him coming back from drinking and he sucks.
Sidney Ponson is possibly the laziest player in MLB. It's too bad because he's actually talented.

I want to know why he isn't charged with lying to congress. Strip his records, charge him with lying to congress, refund tickets to everyone who paid to see him break the record and while we're at it, take away his "little blue friend". and yeah, if it comes out true about Clemens and Damon I'd feel the same way. this new testing does punish players, but doesn't stop it, doesn't stop from Baltimore or other teams with guys on roids winning games to hurt teams like NYY and BOS. Here's one, if Giambi never did roids, he'd probably not have gone to the NYY and the Sox might have won the WS a years sooner.... That all being said, if MLB as a whole wants to vote and a majority want to take roids, I really could care less. It only harms yourself, if you want to harm yourself for our entertanement who am I to argue? It's kinda like I never understood suicide being a crime. |
