If the gameplay's improved, I think I'll love this game.

An Uzi and a Jetski. I have a feeling that's an escort mission.

Treads on the tire of the motorcycle. Clearly points to a maze (literally) mini game. |

More previews/news/screenshots to come. IGN giving their own preview at noon US Eastern time. Other previews through the week with the second trailer on Wednesday.

Radar love sounds like the Nascar '98 Soundtrack on the PSX... yeah - we got that game here in the UK.
|
Multiple endings? Even more reply value. Rockstar knows how to win my heart.
|
I'd guess it means multiple endings in the same vein GTA IV had multiple endings
|
Id say there would be minimum of three, having one with each Protagonist. Then possibly between two and three each depending on your choices. with each. Im leaning on six as it would make sense if the final mission involved a choice of killing someone or not.
|
There is one big story detail that could, and probably should, be considered a spoiler.
SPOILER: show |
Or he does 2 voices
|
So pumped for this. More then I was for San Andreas and I played that around 80 hours the first week.

Trailer 2 looks fucking great. Has to be running on a PC to look that good I'm thinking.

I was almost getting upset with the screenshots thinking if it keeps up there won't be anything we haven't already seen.
Then I remembered this game is staggering in size. |

I remember when I thought GTA:SA was the biggest possible GTA game, map and otherwise.
Then GTA4 hit. Now this is about to hit. Fuck, I feel like I should put myself in a coma for ten years and see what they're doing with the series. |
I see about 25 hours for this game to be honest.
Before I start the first mission. |

I generally am not a graphics whore...but goddamn this game looks absolutely incredible.
Love the dialogue and general tone too. |
I wonder if the game will indeed look that good. Sometimes screenshots from what I remember are much higher quality then what you get.
Still incredible how it looks though. |
GTA4 beat the shit out of every other game that season. And Red Dead did it again. I don't think there will be a problem.
|
R*, like Pixar, pretty much piss great.
|
Cock wrench, that looks deliciousness.

:eek::drool:

Looks incredible

I'm just hoping they actually optimise it on PC this time. GTA4 is still difficult to max out even on top end systems of today. |

the new trailer that came out this week made me go reserve the game. 3 different playable characters, helis, jets, boats, fuck yea.

saving up for a gaming PC to buy in like february.
No clue what I am doing. Just want to be able to run this, battlefield 4, and Elder Scrolls online. |
Come have a word when you get a budget in mind. It'll be ever so much fun.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant / Benchmarks CPU: Intel Core i5-3570K 3.4GHz Quad-Core Processor ($169.99 @ Microcenter) Motherboard: Asus Maximus V Gene Micro ATX LGA1155 Motherboard ($199.99 @ Microcenter) Memory: Patriot Intel Extreme Master, Limited Ed 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($32.99 @ Newegg) Storage: Samsung Spinpoint F3 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($88.98 @ Newegg) Storage: Samsung 830 Series 64GB 2.5" Solid State Disk ($56.97 @ Newegg) Video Card: EVGA GeForce GTX 660 Ti 2GB Video Card ($279.99 @ NCIX US) Case: Cooler Master HAF 922 ATX Mid Tower Case ($99.99 @ Amazon) Power Supply: SeaSonic 650W 80 PLUS Gold Certified ATX12V / EPS12V Power Supply ($131.29 @ Newegg) Optical Drive: Asus BW-12B1ST/BLK/G/AS Blu-Ray/DVD/CD Writer ($62.50 @ NCIX US) Total: $1122.69 (Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available.) (Generated by PCPartPicker 2012-11-15 12:43 EST-0500) Obvious areas to skimp to save cash would be storage, either less mechanical storage or removing the SSD completely and the blu-ray writer. This should run BF3 on Ultra fairly comfortably. Haven't included a monitor/keyboard/mouse/speakers assuming you'd bring them from an old PC, but if you want a new gaming mouse and keyboard, my recommendations would be: Best - Mouse: Roccat Kone[+] Keyboard: Razer Blackwidow Ultimate 2013 Elite (SUPER ULTRA HD REMIX... That fucking title) Awesome Budget - Mouse: Logitech G500 Keyboard: Microsoft Sidewinder X4 |
I will save this for my records.
|
No HD besides the SS?

Not terribly confident in my ability to put that all together once the parts arrive. Unless it's just sliding stuff in, and there aren't many wires to connect.
Also, the CPU is store pick up only. Though it's not too bad of a price hike to get it delivered. Relitavely anyway. |
It is ridiculously easy to build a PC. This was my first:
http://www.tpww.net/forums/showthread.php?t=118033 Some of the motherboard to case wires are diddly but other than that, it's plain sailing. |
I am scared of putting one together.
|
I'm gonna be honest, this gave me a nerdgasm.

I really hope the freeform mission style works.
Also, I like the idea of having to work to get things like a jet. |
More interested in multiplayer..that last tidbit is great news

Don't care for Multiplayer, I just want the same thought out world they have before. Down to branding the cups "Burger Shot".
|
I'm waiting to see how big the map is.
|
Quote:
So you can compare it to those 3 maps combined and still have space left over. |
Even if that's BS, it just looks damn huge. I want multiplayer details.
|
Quote:
Quote:
Still, looks pretty fucking big. |
Wasn't most of the RDR and parts of the SA map just empty wilderness or padding unlike with GTA IV where it was smaller than RDR's but more active?
|
Quote:
Never got why people found it detrimental to the game. |

PC & Wii U versions are "under consideration".
Well fuck. The trailer probably is still running on PC, just like that MGS demo using the FOX engine Kojima showed off. Yet not actually on PC. If it's a staggered release, I doubt I could wait unlike with something like AC3. |
If its anything like past GTA games, the PC and Wii U version would show up around 6 months later or around this time next year.
|
I was just ripping a CD to my Xbox 360 HDD and it made me wonder whether we'll be able to have custom radio stations in GTA V? As far as I know you can do it on PC versions of the older games but I'm not sure if they ever had that option on a console before.
|
Quote:
|
The XBox 1 ports did this, and old Tony Hawk games did this as well.
|
MP3 player option would be awesome if you could have one for each of the three dudes.
|
I'd like to see standard and automatic cars.... some missions are default and some you get the choice (i.e. two cars to get into at beginning of mission)..... Some cars in the game may be only automatic or standard, whereas some could be both.....
|
That sounds like a good idea until you realize that reloading an Uzi while driving a stick may be a bit of an issue.
|
Don't reload, pick up the other uzi. Throw the empty one out the window with a frag taped to it for a real-life Tediore SMG (From BL2)
what just happened there? |

Wife asked for a Christmas list, put a preorder for this at the top :)
|
Got some pedals for my motor for mine, but I think this'll be on the Valentines list if she demands a present too.
|
Makes Christmas so simple when people tell you what they would like to have.
Krispy |
Agree totally. What's the point in having something you didn't want or you brought 2 weeks earlier because you did want it. As a child, it's great for presents, but past 18/20, I hate suprises!
|
I don't mind if its something they found out I wanted or knew I would like since they cared enough to look around.
Wife gave me a list as well, 90% I had planned to get anyways. |
