OMG PUNKS IS BURIED

Blakeamus 09-18-2011 10:46 PM

Meh...

rated rjo 09-18-2011 10:46 PM

Best clusterfuck ever!

Corporate CockSnogger 09-18-2011 10:47 PM

Crazy last 10 minutes.

CSL 09-18-2011 10:47 PM

gotta love a proper clusterfuck every now and again

Hanso Amore 09-18-2011 10:47 PM

Punk has been holding his collarbone awhile. I think it might be hurt

Yes, I know what selling is. Just seemed out of the sort. Maybe im looking too much into it. Just seemed to land on the Jacknife weird.

Corporate CockSnogger 09-18-2011 10:49 PM

We're going to get an annoying amount of people saying they've dropped the ball with Punk.

Immortal Moose 09-18-2011 10:49 PM

Fucking crazy, can't wait for tomorrow.

rated rjo 09-18-2011 10:50 PM

That match put the "luster" back in clusterfuck.

Chavo Classic 09-18-2011 10:51 PM

Overbooked piece of shite. Fucking awful

They dropped the ball with Punk.

Emperor Smeat 09-18-2011 10:52 PM

Great match with a crazy clusterfuck of an ending setup. Interesting to see that now Miz and Truth are officially part of the feud now with how the ref "conspired" against them earlier tonight.

PPV was pretty good and even the normal Divas piss-break match was good.

Triple H might not like Nash anymore but at least he's still friends with sledgy.

That ending was crazy. I love they are getting Miz and R-Truth more involved now. Can't wait for Raw tomorrow night now.

Chavo Classic 09-18-2011 10:53 PM

Seriously, what the fuck was that? Punk magically drags two great matches out of Cena (one being a PWI 5 star match) and then this...?

Lara Emily 09-18-2011 10:54 PM

What the fuck was that?

Blakeamus 09-18-2011 10:56 PM

It was a match that got me glued from bell to bell. Another excellent PPV in my opinion.

Blakeamus 09-18-2011 10:57 PM

Loved the Miz/Truth involvement...I think it would of made more sense to some of these people who think it was a big clusterfuck to have the match in some type of a No Contest...but they would probably bitch about that too..

I only caught the last match of the whole PPV, so my views aren't reflective of the whole night, but if you honestly think two ref run ins, Miz and Truth interference, Nash involvement and 'Mr Future Endeavors' getting his hands dirty wasn't messy and overbooking, then you're a fucking moron.

Cool King 09-18-2011 10:58 PM

I think the PPV was alright.

Personally, I'd say the two best moments were Mark Henry winning the World Heavyweight Championship and the reception Beth Phoenix got.

what did we dislike so much about it exactly? And Chavo Classic, are you implying that a 5 star rating from PWI actually means something?

Corporate CockSnogger 09-18-2011 11:01 PM

The only thing I didn't like about it was Truth breaking up Punks pin after he had tried to give him the win a few minutes earlier. Suppose it could be "explained" by him being dumped out the ring by Punk though and being angry about it. Dunno.

Lara Emily 09-18-2011 11:01 PM

Ummm how about Truth pointlessly stopping Punk from winning, not 5 minutes after he had just put Punk on top of HHH to help him win. How about Punk being an after thought pretty much in his own big match, why did Miz and Truth attack Punk, yeah I get that Punk is a face and they are heels but their purpose was clearly to get rid of HHH, why did Punk stop Nash from jackknifing HHH when clearly Nash was also there to help him win.

It was WWE's way of saying, "We got you hooked and now you will tune in to RAW on Monday to see what happens next." I don't think it was messy. It ALL served a purpose. Miz/Truth conspiracy, Johnny Ace/Triple H Power struggle, Nash, and CM Punk...it had a great response from the crowd.

Blakeamus 09-18-2011 11:03 PM

AND...it was a way of NOT MAKING CM PUNK LOOK WEAK LOSING!

Juan 09-18-2011 11:04 PM

I can't believe a guy they book as being a crazy psycho who talks to himself did something that didn't make sense.

CSL 09-18-2011 11:04 PM

The Truth bits breaking up the fall I'll give you but it hardly ruined/took precedence over anything. Don't see how Punk was "an after thought" or how the clusterfuck was even close to nonsensical

Blakeamus 09-18-2011 11:04 PM

Watching the replay just to see Miz/Truth intro again...

Ruien 09-18-2011 11:05 PM

Does R-Truth say or do anything that makes sense now a days? Punk is part of the conspiracy according to R-Truth so he was not allowed to win! He just changed his mind half-way through the match.

Chavo Classic 09-18-2011 11:05 PM

Tune in tomorrow to find out why we didn't give you a satisfactory conclusion to a event you paid to see...

Blakeamus 09-18-2011 11:07 PM

I was satisfied

If I wanted to watch TNA, I would.

This was poor. It really could have been a great match but it was ridiculously overbooked. I'm surprised they didn't have Del Rio and Cena come out and brawl during a lull point just to peak the audiences' interest.

Skippord 09-18-2011 11:09 PM

Not the best ending(the best ending is having CM Punk give everyone a GTS and pinning them all at once to become new king of the WWE) but it was good enough to make me interested in it.

Where does Punk go from here? He has beef with Nash who won't wrestle, he lost to the guy who does and Laurentis wanted him to win. This match set up HHH vs Miz/Truth more then it did to further any storyline involving Punk. This isn't about Punk anymore, you could have replaced Punk with just about anyone and the the whole thing would have "worked" just as "well"

Cool King 09-18-2011 11:09 PM

One thing I love about PPV threads is that the majority of the time, all the way through the thread, from the beginning of the PPV to the end, everyone posts and are all best friends with each other.

But as soon as the PPV ends, a select few become dicks and some have arguments with each other over how the PPV went. :D

The happy structure just collapses.

Why does Punk matter now? The entire clusterfuck was centered around Truth and Miz's disdain for Hunter and Nash's alliance with Laurinitis. Where does Punk fit into this, other than having lost to Hunter? Punk loses nothing and gains nothing from the match. What's the point?

All I see is Hunter and Punk teaming. Which is ridiculous.
