Can’t fault MSU for being so young this year, but you can definitely blame their lack of intensity in the final minutes of close games for most if not all of their losses. My dumb ass cousin would like to think all the blame lies with the refs for calling penalties against MSU that shouldn’t have been called in his opinion, while failing to realize that closing games they had won was what really cost them.

A great ‘D’ rating means nothing if you don’t play it all game long. Now though it's just going to be a long offseason in East Lansing of what could've been (a BCS bowl or maybe outside shot at the national title if they'd gone undefeated) and what's going to happen with the loss of at least one Sr. (Conroy) and maybe others...got a feeling State could be in a rut for a while as they rebuild.

Glad someone else in the B1G won a game. It's like after non-conference play how the only ones to come out looking good were NU and Minnesota. Now its NU and MSU.

What do you make of MSU's year? They were picked to win the B1G by many.

I'd say it was disappointing, but they lost Cousins and weren't able to match their offense from last year and that is what hurt them. Their defense is stellar.

It appears Bill O'Brian is leaving PSU, and they will lose what great recruits they have committed.

Well, after all the crazy stylish uniforms the ducks get vs going to the team with the most boring unis in the NFL, that alone is reason to stay. Going from big man on campus on the west coast to....uh....Cleveland? No fucking way.

I've tried to be as apathetic and grumpy as possible about the Alabama/Notre Dame game as I hate Notre Dame and loathe the SEC bandwagon bullshit. Alas, I have finally succumbed to the potential for this game to be surreal and awesome. I still think Alabama is going to beat their ass.
