Why have they never been able to get the physics of a belt right? It's always looked like a rigid one piece thing. No idea why this is bugging me now, just really noticed it on Cena's entrance.

The belt looked far better animated in the Rock's entrance.

I just realised something.

It looks like they're being very true to what attires/ entrances/ music the wrestlers had for the specific WM match they were in for this.

Austin/ Rock WM 19 is in.

Which means Hollywood Rock with theme etc should be in this game... pretty awesome!

As a guy who loves having a shitload of arenas/sets/etc., I am excited that they will have every WrestleMania stage on top of all the past year's PPVs, TV shows, and Create-An-Arena.

It does suck that the matches from WrestleMania XX will be Goldberg/Brock and maybe Cena/Big Show instead of Eddie/Angle or the Cruiserweight Open.

2K Games announces Universe mode is getting shown off on Twitch at around 3pm EST tomorrow.

Take it you didn't hear Taker's music up there. He didn't rock that for that match/era of time.

Also I don't think Rock ever used his evil Hollywood theme at a WM anyway, not that I remember.

Hmm... think I was sleep that year.

Unfortunate. 2003 was a good year.

2002-2003 was fucking tremendous.

After WM XIX, the rest of 2003 was God-awful. Terrible storylines and matches everywhere you looked, IMO.

Steiner/HHH kicked off 2003 and it made Goldberg/HHH/Kane or HHH/Nash look like MOTYs.

Benoit vs Angle kicked off 2003 as well. One of the best wrestling matches of all time IMO.

I'm not being fooled again.

Watched some of that universe vid. The walking animation actually looks more janky than last year. Watched up until Bryans kick combo finisher and it looked so bad I had to leave to vomit.

Someone wanna sum up any changes to Universe mode for me?

No, watch the fucking video like everybody else had to.

You can make your own feuds and watch the repetitive sporadic cutscenes over and over again, just with your wrasslers of choice!

That's as far as I got before my weak stomach couldn't watch anymore.

Rivalry options are back, they look similar to the old GM mode settings. This also seems to sort out the problems last year of cutscenes rarely appearing.

Also, you can assign a default attire for your superstars which is cool.

There's also the ability to book the KOTR tournament inside of Universe mode.

You can set how many matches are on shows. Major shows can be 5-7 matches, minor are 3-5.

I'm just hoping it works as advertised this time round, but I guess the 30 years of WM mode is attractive enough to warrant a purchase. Also, Kaitlyn being in the game :D

I wish they would just shit can this series and come back in a few years with a built from scratch game engine.

<font color=goldenrod>Definitely skipping this this year. Seems like essentially the same exact game as last year. WM mode could be fun, but the reality is I'd probably never use any of the legends outside of that mode. Universe is almost strictly kept to current guys for me.

Speaking of which, Universe barely seems to have changed at all. I have no doubt the branching storylines will still be broken and non-usable if you dare to change anything about the card the game pre-generated for you.</font>
