I actually like Murray, he did well last season and was brilliant in the play offs, shame he sucked against Chelsea.

And that one that hit the bar was in the Champions League, and it actually hit the bar and went in, but the Linesman didn't see it go in. Not because he is blind, but because the shot was so powerful it was a hard call to make, I was behind the goal, in the second row of the second tier, and I wasn't sure if it went in, and I had a better view then the lino.

Cristiano Ronaldo, Roy Keane and Gary Neville were reported to police by Everton fans who claim they screamed obscenities while celebrating the winner in their 4-3 victory. Fans stayed behind to give statements to police.

and this Millwall player called Moses Ashikodi oulled a kitchen knife out on team mate Mark McCammon, the row happened after training, in the canteen, and Ashikodi had to be restrained by staff and players. What a nutter.

Cristiano learns fast  :shifty:

Cactus Sid 02-08-2004 07:05 AM

Not neccessarily Premiership news, but Paul Hart's been sacked, hard to believe last season they were linking him to the Leeds job

Anyway, what did everyone think of Huth today? I think that him, Glenn Johnson and Eidur Gudjohnsen were our best players. Gronkjaer keeps running the ball to touch, Lamps was average, Nicholas played well, Jimmy did nothing but win the penalty and score it. Mutuuuuuu :(.

Wengerland 02-08-2004 05:02 PM

I thought Huth did ok,made a lapse in the first half but recovered well and it seems the fans think he can hit a good free kick and i guess the one that he took was better than J-F's.

Gronkjaer's first half was probably the best i personally have seen him play for Chelsea, and Johnson looked better when he had less defensive duties,Mutu has got to do better though.

Yeah but like you say, he won the ball back (kinda). His free kick should have been rolled to him, he hits it straight and hard, he was never going to get it on target with a wall like theirs. It was cool when Jimmy told Huth to go back to the half way line, and then the fans were all like 'HUTH HUTH HUTH HUTH HUTH' and then Jimmy let him have it, and we all cheered. Like I say, shame it wasn't rolled to him. And he really crunched that player in the first half too.

I hate Man U. :)

We are fourth though so not a bad weekend :y:

Dazz 02-09-2004 07:26 AM

yeah that is abit out of date

Paranoid Rattlesnake 02-09-2004 07:28 AM

Someone just posted it on the draw a superstar section on the bbc website

Wengerland 02-10-2004 09:21 AM

Anyone know the name of the music before that Chelsea have before matches? I've also heard it on Soccer A.M i think.

Wengerland 02-10-2004 09:28 AM

Oh yeah Bolton tonight, must say that i'm not very optimistic about it.Then again i did say that we would go down if we lost to Villa, though i guess this game is more vital as imo it determines the response(as i knew we'd lose at Newcastle),a win could see the start of a good run, kinda like the response after the Wolves game, and help get out of the relegation zone.

I think that this is the best time to play Bolton because of Okocha's absence, but then again I said that the other day when Liverpool played them.
Is it at home or away?

Mr. Monday Morning 02-10-2004 09:50 AM

Leeds tonight.

DIE LEEDS DIE

Cactus Sid 02-10-2004 10:04 AM

I hope Wolves win, They've got a great fighting spirit, they've been underdogs since day one, and I also think that Leeds have brought everything upon themselves and now they've gotta face the consequences

It's good seeing Wolves do well, being a local kid and all. I hope they stay up.

Do you mean the Russian song? PR knows the name of that, I can never remember it. Something like Kronikle but i could be way off.

Or the liquidator? that goes liek this: 'do do do do, do do do do, do do do do, do do do do,*clap clap clap clap* CHELSEA!

Or 'Blue Day', or 'Blue is the Colour' but I doubt thats on Soccer A.M. Then again i doubt the Russian song is either but I havent watched Soccer A.M in a while.

I agree. :y:

Rob 02-10-2004 03:18 PM

I hope Leeds get stuffed too.

Oh yeah, Leicester just scored as I typed that.

Cactus Sid 02-10-2004 03:37 PM

LMFAO @ THIS LEICESTER GAME

They are showing how fu</>cking stupid this "new" offside rule is, and Ian Walker just did the worst clanger....ever

Rob 02-10-2004 03:41 PM

I'm surprised 1000 Leicester fans never ran on the pitch there to slap Ian Walker like he deserved. What a useless wanker.

Mr. Monday Morning 02-10-2004 03:43 PM

F</>UCK F</>UCK F</>UCK F</>UCKITY F</>UCK

COME ON

Wengerland 02-10-2004 03:59 PM

Ian Walker's a ****ing twat.

I wanted Danny Coyne in after the Villa game to be honest, and this is just crap.I mean if the keeper makes mistakes then its hardly gonna be good for team morale.

I'm not gonna go mad at Bolton though, credit to them for exploiting the worst foorballing rule ever made, just sad that it's against us and that we've not got the brains to use it against them.

Thats it,is it called the liquidator or is that just the fans name for it? If it's an actual song/thing thats downloadable. :-\

Mr. Monday Morning 02-10-2004 04:47 PM

Jesus Christ.

Dave Jones, for the love of God, stop playing Kenny Miller on the right where he can't defend and he keeps leaving Irwin exposed.

F</>uck. I've never stopped believing we can stay up but shit, we haven't lost this badly since the Chelsea game, I thought we'd cut this crap out. And against LEEDS, of all teams.

We need to win all our home games to stand a chance :-\

Cactus Sid 02-10-2004 04:53 PM

I think you'll make it, have faith

Mr. Monday Morning 02-10-2004 04:56 PM

It's doable. I mean, our home games are (not in order)

Boro
Villa
Southampton
Fulham
Tottenham
Bolton
Everton

Still though...:-\ Sounds like we were completely knackered after Saturday and just capitulated 2nd half.

Wengerland 02-10-2004 05:05 PM

wow,another lead lost.Thanks alot Walker(you dick).

I am so pissed off because Bolton did sweet FA to score again, but at the end of the day when our best player on the pitch is a 37 year old forward who is retiring at the end of the season it doesn't say much and a point from that match is no good for us,especially seeing as Pompey beat Bolton 4-0 at home earlier in the season so these are the games we must win.Wolves have looked a much better team at home but yet again we have lost a lead, even if we'd have won half of the games we were leading in and went onto draw/lose then we'd be about mid-table.

rant over.

i think you can get at least a draw in those games, but your chances of survival aren't very good.
