I am still pretty shocked at the ARK/Bama game. We were such a better team than they were. Our QB is the future though. 16/20 240+ yards 3TDs 0 INTs. Just don't know why we are running KD so much. 26 rushes for 64 yards. :|

John Parker Wilson haha sweet first name, seriously. His brother is on that show Two-A-Days, Hoover high is the most ridiculous shit ever. The coaches are hilraious, especially the DB coach. I dunno if you've ever seen it but he shits on all the players but then when you hear him talk he has like the perfect stereotypical dumbass southern accicent, like something you'd see on Saturday Night Live

Dunno if you any of guys have seen it, but if you have can you let me know the haircut all the white dudes have? Like a huge puff in the front, I dunno is that like an Alabama thing or something? Show kinda makes me hate Alabama honestly haha

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-25-2006 12:26 AM

I have no answer for that, but I don't think so?

Watching USC vs Arizona on ESPNU right now, I love having this channel

RoXer 09-25-2006 12:27 AM

check me out on the 40 yd line on the right about 3 rows up. I'm in the red shirt.

RoXer 09-25-2006 12:28 AM

Yo how loud is it on tv? It seemed like one of the louder games but I don't know how that translated onto television.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-25-2006 12:29 AM

I dunno my roommate is sleepin so I have it turned down

RoXer 09-25-2006 12:34 AM

what quarter?

RoXer 09-25-2006 12:37 AM

We had a streaker near the end of the 3rd quarter but I don't think he made it to TV

BCWWF 09-25-2006 02:16 AM

ESPNU can be really tight, but it needs some more programming. It is cool to get another football game on Saturdays, between ABC, ESPN, ESPN2, FSN, TBS and ESPU there are a lot of games on. I just wish they had better filler programs, or even some smaller sports. It seems like an untapped market, but I just don't think enough people are getting it to put more money there.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-25-2006 09:59 AM

I like how they replay college football games. I hope the channel doesn't expand because if it is it'll just turn into CSTV and they will start showing stupid shit like women's college swimming or men's college track events which I really have no interest in watching. If they expand they'd probably eliminate the replays - right now watching Miami (OH) vs 'Cuse

ESPNU is the best shit, now they got FSU vs Rice on. Not really a "good game" I guess but I love watching college football and now I am getting to see games I missed.

One of FSU's linebacker is #83, so random

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-25-2006 12:39 PM

Figured BC would be out of the top 25. They always pull the same shit, lose to a team they should not lose to. Syracuse two years ago, last year it was UNC and now this year its NC State. Watch them beat FSU this year or something too.

BCWWF 09-25-2006 01:01 PM

Damn right No. 25

Supreme Olajuwon 09-25-2006 01:09 PM

Fuck man, Iowa really scares me this week. They are really the only team that has a chance to beat OSU before the Michigan game and this would just totally kill everything if they lost. I hope it doesn't rain because I wanna see Troy Smith and Drew Tate go off.

BCWWF 09-25-2006 04:11 PM

Is the game in Iowa? If it is in the shoe I think Ohio State should come out with it, but at Iowa would make it a lot more interesting.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-25-2006 04:18 PM

Yeah I wanna see them battling with their clear visors on haha

BCWWF 09-25-2006 05:16 PM

Fill me in

Hoover High is like the richest school in the state. That hairdo is the typical rich preppy frat boy thing. You talking about that Alex kid right? Lol, I am guessing by DB coach you mean Defensive Coordinator? The Pruitt guy? The guy that has the best quote from the show so far "Max, Vestavia just scored another touchdown....because you're a dumbass." Yeah, you guys see the way we talk as stupid and vice versa. You see how huge football is down here though, like how packed the stadiums are and how serious the players take it. We call Hoover High Hoover U, because it's basically like a college team. Repete's impersonation of Propst was hilarious.

Also a funny story I heard about. The whole "DING" quote Propst had after they lost to Tuscaloosa County. Well, there is a huge black janitor for Hoover, and Propst got locked out of his room at school and the janitor came by and was all like "You know who holds the key to your door? DING!" and pointed to his chin. Pretty ROFL.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-25-2006 09:02 PM

Yeah that DING shit made me hate that guy. Why would he purposely do that to one of his players?

Yeah that's the guy, always shitting on that kid Max. He sounds like the big retarded ever, like he isn't even real or something. It's hilarious

oh yeah, BCWWF I was talking about how both QB's wear those clear visors on their helmets. They won't wear them if it is raining out, was just kinda a joke.

BCWWF 09-25-2006 09:33 PM

Oh ok, figured it was something like that, just wasn't sure that both players wore them.

Yeah, a lot of people do hate the guy. I guess his response is he shows them the 5 state title rings he has. I doubt he actually didn't send tapes out, Max is playing at a D2 school, Alex got a baseball scholly at a JUCO, Repete had a shitload of offers but walked on at Auburn, and Cornelius Williams is playing at Troy. Ross is committed to UA to play baseball. So, yeah, he gets your stuff out to college recruiters. :-\

Yeah, Max is the token guy on the team who gets rode every day. Same went for me my junior year. It happens.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-26-2006 03:47 PM

Yeah the show is just hilarious to me, I dunno its high school football. I realize its huge down in the south thats cool and all but its kind of ridiculous. Like having to stay in a hotel the night before a home game? I dunno lol

Oh yeah that was pretty ridiculous. I think they just did that for the Nease game because it was such a huge game. ESPN coverage, MTV, etc. etc.

Show has produced some hilarious quotes though, lol.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-27-2006 04:04 PM

Yeah I like how the show totally ignores the best players kind of to highlight the white kids, I mean that kid Max didn't get make it to D1 (well he got D1AA I guess but still) and he is all over the place, while it was pretty obvious the best player on the team was probably the WR or running back.

Also, how the fuck is that kid "Goose" the starting defensive tackle for one of the high school teams in the country?

The Outlaw 09-28-2006 03:10 PM

I guess he's good at what he's supposed to do? PLus DT is one of the positions where you don't have to be gifted athletically to be good. Clog up the holes and lineman and you do your job.

Cornelius is definitely the best player on the team. But, I guess MTV knows how to get ratings. Highlight the good looking guys who will bring the girl viewers in when they already know they have a lot of the guy population watching. Pretty smart when you think about it.

RP 09-28-2006 03:11 PM

Notre Dame's season is over this week.

RP 09-28-2006 03:13 PM

Jump on the Boilermaker bandwagon now. Purdue will be ranked after this week and undefeated and headed to Iowa to beat there ass.

Yeah just doesn't seem he'd be that impressive of a player. A lot of the other dudes seem like pretty big dudes for high school, but then that kid Goose just seems like some random kid who wouldn't be playing football.

They are probably making a killing on that show cuz you got dudes like me who can't go of the high school glory days, but then you also have girls who watch shows like the OC for the relationship drama

And back to college football, I don't think Purdue is going to beat ND this week. I can definetly see Notre Dame losing again some point this season before the USC game though, they really just do not look that impressive. You can't keep winning shoot outs, the oods just aren't there.

I'll give you one name to remember this Saturday... Kory Sheets.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-28-2006 09:54 PM

Actually if ND beats Purdue they are going into the USC game with one loss - the rest of their schedule is pretty weak.

Hopefully you are right RP, not a big ND fan myself simply for the fact that they think they are so much different than any other team. Not in a conference, got their own TV deal - they are no longer an elite team in the country. I think they need to realize that

BCWWF 09-28-2006 10:07 PM

I'm not gonna lie, I don't really like Notre Dame either, but I like when they are good. I hope they don't lose again until USC, because that was a classic game last year.

RP 09-29-2006 12:42 AM

There defense is pathetic. Purdue is one of the best offenses in the nation. They isolate Smajgndrjgnrugraaa and the game is over. Purdue 31 ND 17

BCWWF 09-29-2006 02:07 AM

Who has Purdue beaten though? I don't know for sure, but it's probably not on the same level as Michigan State, Penn State and Georgia Tech. All are top-30 teams, IMO, especially when they were played.

RP 09-29-2006 07:25 AM

They beat Minnesota in there place.

Jesus Shuttlesworth 09-29-2006 10:23 AM

Yeah I dunno...Purdue has one of the best offenses in the nation? Really? They must be flying way under the radar because I didn't know that.

ND's defense is pretty bad but they Zbikowski can bust out a huge play on defense to some what counter that every once in a while. Notre Dame will probably need to win it in a shoot out if what you are saying about Purdue's offense is true and ND has already have done it a few times this season. Should be an interesting game.

Last nights South Carolina/Auburn game was pretty sick, Ohio State vs Iowa will easily be the game of the week though.

BCWWF 09-29-2006 07:02 PM

Minnesota was projected to win four games this season, and two of their wins this season came against Kent State and Temple. Not exactly the pride of the Big Ten this year.
