Yeah that's true, I just got moved up to night time manager too so I can just kinda stand there and ring people up during the game so I shouldn't miss much. If I was still in my old position I would have to be loading the cooler during the game which would be pretty terrible

Would still much rather be at a bar or one of my buddies houses or something though

SammyG 01-08-2008 02:27 AM

I am excited for every single one of the games. Not one game looks boring.

Yeah, I have no issue with him leaving the nfl when he did, he was still healthy and was setting up a broadcasting career, isn't his goal to be a news anchor somewhere?

But, even though I'm not a big coughlin fan, coming out after with "if he was gone, I'd still be there" is crap.

Night manager of a liquor store, isn't that like giving a fox the keys to the hen house?

Patrick Willis only got one vote for Defensive MVP lol so...

Mike Vrabel (2 votes) > Patrick Willis (1 vote)

Kris P Lettus 01-08-2008 03:14 PM

Bob Sanders got 31 of the 50 votes..

Patrick Kerney and Albert Haynesworth came in a close second with 4 votes a piece..

Kris P Lettus 01-08-2008 03:14 PM

Suprisingly, Jason David received no votes..

ClockShot 01-08-2008 03:48 PM

Joe Gibbs steps down as Redskins head coach.

FearedSanctity 01-08-2008 04:55 PM

Jim Bates steps down as Broncos defensive coordinator/assistant head coach.

Yesssssss

Skippord 01-08-2008 09:40 PM

Praise Allah

that guy sucked

FearedSanctity 01-08-2008 09:51 PM

Fuck, but replacing Bates, hopefully just for now, is Bob Slowick, the defensive coord./DB coach from last year

Skippord 01-08-2008 10:13 PM

Dammit

Maybe they could just hire some homeless guy, it would probably work better

ClockShot 01-08-2008 10:36 PM

Mike Martz is hired as offensive coordinator at San Francisco.

Geez. The guy is a fucking pinball.

I really hope that if Rex Ryan doesn't get a HC job somewhere, Denver atleast TRIES to bring him in

MTH15 01-08-2008 10:56 PM

Whos Rex Ryan

FearedSanctity 01-09-2008 12:51 AM

Baltimore's former D coach

Jesus Shuttlesworth 01-09-2008 12:55 AM

He was the D-Coordinator for the Ravens (also the guy who called a timeout before Brady was stopped on 4th and one lol)

He is a great defensive coach though

FearedSanctity 01-09-2008 01:10 AM

Monte Kiffin wouldn't be a bad choice either

DaveBrawl 01-09-2008 09:49 AM

Denver had a defensive coordinator this season? Could of fooled me.

Skippord 01-09-2008 10:41 AM

I just hope they hire anyone but Mike Shanahan's first instinct

DaveBrawl 01-09-2008 05:16 PM

Give him a chance and he'll make himself defensive coordinator.

But like FearedSanctity was saying I wish they could lure Rex Ryan away. Maybe he would know how to implement some form of a pass rush or stop a run, something more than the resting post for the opposing offsensive line that Bates told us was a defensive line.

OssMan 01-09-2008 05:20 PM

lol @ gibbs. cant wait to see who the skins hire, prolly someone hilarious, prolly Marty Schottenheimer again lol

Dunno if I like this or not though cause even though everyone loved Gibbs for being a hall of fame coach he was fucking retarded.

All I can ever think of with him is his Dad taking a swing at Kevin Gilbride, that was funny.

The solid plan of let Elvis Dummervil rush the passer was pretty awesome though

Hanso Amore 01-09-2008 07:24 PM

If your last name is Ryan, your a great D coordinator, but you should never be Head Coach.

Buddy ruined it for Rob and Rex

SammyG 01-09-2008 07:32 PM

lol Martz in San Fran. That should be funny. Also, Rams fired their offensive coordinator and offensive line coach.

VonErichLives 01-09-2008 08:26 PM

word is the Falcons are offering Carrol the job w/ personel control.

He should stay in college, they respond better to him.

Hanso Amore 01-09-2008 09:00 PM

Buffalo wants to bring in the rams O Line coach now that he is fired, as our just retired.

Whats the word on him Sammy? I haeard he was good, but if he got canned I dont know what to think.

Arthur Blank should have learned his lesson hiring a college guy. Carroll is great in College, he sucked as a pro coach.

MTH15 01-09-2008 09:07 PM

Please....just please dont sign him.

He is better off in college, but he did win a division title in NE (plus made the playoffs 2 outta the 3 years he was here) I don't think he'll leave the college game, especially USC, he has a chance to do something special. In the NFL he'll just be another guy

Olson really isn't that terrible. We just had to fire somebody, and he was the one. Well, one of the two. We couldn't do shit offensively this year, but who could, when the starting QB, RB, and 4 starting offensive lineman are out for an extended period of time. Olson really isn't that bad, you could use him in Buffalo.

true, but he also took over a team that had just gone to a superbowl.

Of course he also had a horrible GM making bad picks/moves.

Carroll is a good coach, but his style works great in college, he's a fun, ra-ra guy...

in the Pros not so well, also he doesn't deal that great with the press and pressure from them which makes USC such a great fit.
