I'm yet to get to the location in a Top Fun mission. Usually, I just drive towards the end and wait for the guys in the planes to crash.

Is this normal?

The last one I played was the most brutal to my team: one car blown up, and one guy committed suicide by being a dumbass. It seems like the only goal is to not get killed before the attackers kill themselves.

Maybe next time I'll be one of the pilots and see if I can do better. Spoilers: probably can't.

Went online for the first tome in a number of weeks, has there been any changes other than the $500k?

Depends. When you last played, had they halved the money for replaying jobs and such?

Yeah I had heard about the cutting of job money. Any changes to game options though? I couldn't find where to launch a private online session.

You pause the game in single player, go along to "online" and select either solo online or friends only.

I've lost two personal cars and I can't regain them through insurance and I don't know why. Both were fully insured.

Had an infuriating session online. Hassled by some twat in a tank and his friend in a big rig. Tried calling mercs out to get him but, for some stupid reason, the names on the list of players changes constantly so I went to select him, his name moved and I sent mercs after someone else. Then had that player coming after me too.
Got mercs sent after me. My mechanic brought my car but decided to drive around the lake before giving me it despite spawning right next to me.

Went for a crate but my gun decided not to aim at the NPC enemy guarding it so I was killed by him.

Tried chuting into the army base to get a jet but my leg got caught in the actual jet model. When I finally got free, I was caught in the wing. Eventually got in and instantly blew up.

Think I'm done with GTAO for now. I'm not omitting anything. That's my entire session.

I can live with the player interactions, as annoying as they were. It's things like names moving so I waste $7500 on the wrong guy, getting caught in vehicle models etc that really got to me.

Might pick up SRIV to counter balance GTA with some stupidity. That should take me through to Mario 3D world.

I do read the name. In the millisecond between my thumb heading to the A button and the A button being pressed, the name actually moved to another part of the name list.

There have also been times in the past where players weren't listed at all. I'd be looking right at CoDPlaya420 or whatever and he'd be on my radar but his name isn't on the list of people to set a bounty on.

Lindsay Lohan allegedly is filing a lawsuit against Rockstar claiming the studio used her likeness without permission for the game. The basis for the lawsuit involves the image of the woman holding a phone on the box art and another character in the game during a certain hotel mission.

Mayhem last night.

I learned how to duplicate cars, though. I have Franklins Buffalo and some truck covered with snow in my Online garage now. The Buffalo is worth $75,000 at Los Santos Customs. I duped and sold 4 of them.

Custom game mode beta should be out today.

I went to the online thing and as soon as I was dropped into the "interactive world" I just started hearing a bunch of people yelling at each other, doing your mom jokes and calling each other 10 year olds. What was that about

You mean the chat channels? You can turn them all off and only have friends or crew chatting.

^^ Yup. Sometimes it's really childish and horrible, sometimes it's alot of fun. Depends on the mix of players.

Update: They patched quite a bit. The car duplicating that I learned was fixed, so no more of that. Shit...My Buffalo is worth $75,000 and I was liking duping/selling that bad boy. Also, the snow covered truck I had is now gone due to the patch. Apparently alot of people found that their special cars disappeared.

The "creation" stuff seems fairly deep and time consuming, so I didn't try them yet.

Only been bored in the online thing... like 2 vs 2 deathmatch and I just die... idk

Single player is a lot more fun, really funny Al De Napoli saga

Online is fun with people you know.

The playlist can get boring. I've stuck to free roam for the most part.

CTF is going to be bonkers.

basically, the glitch is easy enough to do. You replay the Prologue mission up until after you get the money and leave the facility. Once outside, kill the first two cops and have someone invite you into an Online session (Invite Only) then have the other player go back to Single player and play the prologue the same way, then reinvite them. Both players should then be able to see the area from the Los Santos Airport. You then have to fly a plane or take a helicopter to fly over.

NOTE: I'd take a helicopter only because its a snowy area and I had a tough time landing a plane....Well, only because I took the C130 the first time. Make sure that you keep the vehicle nearby as there are no other vehicles in the area (You can have the Mechanic bring you a vehicle at certain times of the day, apparently).

Its a cool enough diversion, but I think you have to redo the prologue and go through the Invite mallarcky to do it again next time you're Online.

Anyone else enjoying the latest update? I'm having a blast designing my own deathmatches, pretty cool. Golf course is a great map to customize.

Yeah I'm cooking up something in a good area too. Give me a while, I think it'll be fun.

Been alot of that lately. They've found a way to mod a file within their save-game that allows moding the amount of money you get from holding up liquor stores, amount gotten from selling cars, etc. It's fucking stupid.

I suppose that was coming sooner or later.

Another patch is forthcoming within the next day or so. ALOT of big fixes. I was also watching a video on the punishment for hacking/purposely glitching. Apparently, a player could get banned from Public Sessions for up to 30 days and possibly being locked from using your apartment/garage during that time.
