Could be a blessing. Light work in the SS match, then disappear for a while to repackage the gimmick a bit and also give Sandow a chance to shine solo. Make it happen.

Cool King 11-15-2012 02:35 PM

Damn, you can see the pain in his face at 0:18. :(

Emperor Smeat 11-15-2012 02:50 PM

Ouch.

Thought at first maybe Kane tossed him too much on one side but Cody for some strange reason was trying to tuck his legs in and it messed up his balance.

drave 11-15-2012 03:04 PM

Stoopid work blocking videos and stuff :(

Ratings/viewer breakdown of the last RAW.

Quote:

In the segment breakdown, Randy Orton and Kofi Kingston vs. Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio lost 74,000 from the opener. The angle with Vickie Guerrero, AJ Lee, John Cena and Dolph Ziggler as well as Big Show vs. William Regal gained 468,000 viewers, which is strong growth for that point in the show. Layla vs. Kaitlyn and clips to hype Jerry Lawler's return lost 234,000 viewers.

Lawler's return with the segment involving CM Punk, Paul Heyman and Mick Foley gained 745,000 viewers for a high 3.38 quarter hour rating. The end of the angle lost 876,000 viewers.

Sin Cara, Rey Mysterio, Tyson Kidd and Justin Gabriel vs. Titus O'Neil, Darren Young, Primo and Epico gained 233,000 viewers in the last few minutes. Tensai vs. R-Truth lost 253,000 viewers. Brad Maddox vs. Ryback gained 755,000 viewers for a 3.28 quarter rating in the 10pm timeslot. This is the best 10pm growth in a long time.

Sheamus vs. David Otunga lost 910,000 viewers, which would be among the most viewers lost in one segment all year. Kane and The Miz vs. Cody Rhodes and Damien Sandow lost 40,000 viewers. The lowest point of the whole show came at the beginning of CM Punk vs. John Cena. The first half of that match lost 313,000 viewers and did a 2.42 quarter hour rating. It picked up at 11pm for the overrun, finishing with a 2.99 quarter rating after gaining 528,000 viewers.

I agree it could be a blessing letting Cody rework his gimmick while allowing Sandow to get back to singles matches where he belongs.

I got that same feeling. Thought he was gonna invite the little girl upstairs, and DDP would have to be all "No, Jake! No!"

Been watching some old Survivor Series shows from the first couple of years and had the most random of ideas:

What if Brutus Beefcake had turned heel and formed a tag team with The Model Rick Martel? They could have had a gimmick where they vowed to make the WWF "beautiful" or something and attacked their opponents with the arrogance and the haircutting to make their opponents look better..or something..

I don't think Kane is to blame on Cody's injury..... he tried to pull a Jeff Hardy "tuck in at the last second" type deal and messed up.....

CSL 11-15-2012 07:51 PM

no he didn't, he just didn't rotate enough/didn't have enough momentum. Just "one of those things", slight bit of mistiming and that's what happens

If Tensai replaces Cody this might be the first PPV Albert has been apart of since his return.

Fignuts 11-15-2012 10:20 PM

Such a waste. Guy is capable of so much more.

Good for her.

If tensai replaces Cody he will be the first person eliminated and probably by a quick roll up mere seconds into the match

Reversing it also makes it look like Nash is tearing his quad.

Dark One 11-16-2012 02:31 AM

That makes it more believable than the first one, even with the giant tentacles.

Dark One 11-16-2012 05:43 AM

I think the biggest news from those clips is that Lucky Cannon was a champion.

James Steele 11-16-2012 12:16 PM

If this is Triple H's project like is rumored, I am more and more confident in my selection of Triple H as the single greatest performer with the most profound mind for the business in the history of professional wrestling.

I'm so critical of WWE's booking (for good reason, dammit) that I feel the need to stress my praise for things I actually find genius. I'm randomly re-watching Hell in a Cell...

Big Show vs Sheamus as a match, the booking of Show winning the title cleanly and Show being champion... FUCK I love it. It's so fucking old-school feeling and amazing.
