I doubt it since Andy Pettitte is on the hill tonight.

Aguakate 10-18-2010 07:44 PM

Cliff Lee is going for the Rangers on Game 3? Geez. They gotta be careful.

As much as they pay these bastards, they outta be able to pitch every fucking game and like it.

Innovator 10-18-2010 10:33 PM

Pettite kept it close, up to Kerry underWood and the non existent bats.

RoXer 10-18-2010 10:46 PM

I wonder what Cliff Lee has on his hat that helps him grip the ball

Innovator 10-18-2010 10:48 PM

The souls of the vanquished?

Aguakate 10-18-2010 11:06 PM

Rangers are murdering the Yankees.

Innovator 10-18-2010 11:06 PM

Well this series is over

Emperor Smeat 10-18-2010 11:15 PM

Did not expect the Rangers to be this dominate against the Yankees since besides the 1-2 innings in Game 1, its been all Rangers.

:nono: beer being thrown at the Rangers bullpen. Isn't beer at the stadium one of the most expensive in all of MLB unless I'm thinking of Cowboys stadium in the NFL and their $100 pizzas.

James Steele 10-18-2010 11:25 PM

HAHAHAHAAHA

FUCK THE YANKEES! I hope the Rangers end it in New York and they crank George Strait as loud as fucking possible.

Supreme Olajuwon 10-18-2010 11:32 PM

Guess Cliff's waiting till Game 7 for that big heel turn. More dramatic that way anyway.

McLegend 10-18-2010 11:33 PM

Cliff Lee is just on another level.

The cheesesteaks are high also

Innovator 10-18-2010 11:33 PM

I wish I owned a dog right now, he'd get an hour long walk.

McLegend 10-18-2010 11:56 PM

Must win game for The Phillies tomorrow. I hope the bats have awaken.

OssMan 10-19-2010 12:17 AM

McLegend 10-19-2010 12:19 AM

Snowden 10-19-2010 01:11 AM

If Clifford doesn't come the Yankees way this offseason, he's officially the heir apparent to Curt Schilling/Josh Beckett in the absolute pain in the Yankees' ass position.

Supreme Olajuwon 10-19-2010 01:28 AM

Lee at age 32 should do what Clemens did at the end. Wait and pick out a team headed to the postseason, hop on board and go with it.

RP 10-19-2010 08:10 AM

The Cubs should break the bank to get Lee next year

Also i almost said The Cums. Good thing i caught that.

Triple Naitch 10-19-2010 08:17 AM

I for one hope Lee stays in Texas.

Innovator 10-19-2010 08:35 AM

I think the most realistic way for the Yankees to win this series is to find the Fountain of Youth before tonight.

Loose Cannon 10-19-2010 09:42 AM

should of thrown Burnett. Pettite pitched an amazing game.

was expected last night. I was prepared for it for a week now, so I didn't get really pissed off like I usually do when the Yanks totally bomb

Lee's going to be one of those pitchers that will pitch into his 40's and still be good. He's extremely deceptive on that mound and he's made it near impossible to guess what's coming. I'd take him over anybody in the post season.

Loose Cannon 10-19-2010 09:46 AM

by the way, last night's game really made me hate the way this Yankee Stadium was designed. I saw all the suit and tie crowd leave around the 8th inning. I'm willing to bet most of those people haven't followed the Yankees all year

Innovator 10-19-2010 10:24 AM

I haven't pitched in a long time, so I haven't struggled in a long time. I feel like I'm where I need to be. It's been a long time since I've been on the mound, but I'm sharp and I expect things to go as 'normal A.J.'" - AJ Burnett on tonight's game

Innovator 10-19-2010 10:25 AM

The game tonight is over as soon as a Ranger gets on base.

:shifty:

ClockShot 10-19-2010 12:22 PM

Cardinals hire Tony La Russa back for 1-more year with a mutual option in 2012.

Cubs keep Mike Quade as manager.

Triple Naitch 10-19-2010 12:27 PM

Quade deserves another year. He did well filling in those giant shoes left by Lou.

Innovator 10-19-2010 12:29 PM

So much for the Mike Francesa theory of Girardi going to the Cubs and Jeter being a player manager.

Nervous Ferret 10-19-2010 03:20 PM

Dear Clockshot, I meant it would be a hot game as in Pettitte/Lee. I switched games mid-post. what of it

Anyway still really feeling a hot game from Burnett. If he throws a first pitch strike to the first batter he will prob get an ovation.

Apologies.

But, tonight's question is this. Which Alan James Burnett do we get tonight?

Good AJ or Bad AJ. There's no inbetween.

SlickyTrickyDamon 10-19-2010 07:24 PM

Bad AJ!
