Cromartie, in his first year with the Jets after four years with the Chargers, backed up Ryan Tuesday when he was asked by the Daily News if he's ever seen Brady pointing after the Patriots score.

"We see that a lot. He does it a lot," Cromartie said. "That's the kind of guy he is. We really don't give a damn, to tell you the truth."

Okay, what kind of guy is Brady?

"An asshole."

"Fuck him."

------------------------------

I wonder which corner Brady is gonna target this week?

Droford 01-12-2011 09:47 AM

to be fair, I dont think he needed to say anything to be targeted

Team Sheep 01-12-2011 09:55 AM

Do people not realise that a play off game against a division rival is a completely different scenario than a regular season game. Yeah it's shit the Jets got thumped, but it wasn't a must win. This is. It's gonna be close.

SammyG 01-12-2011 10:18 AM

lol Cromartie, piss off a Hall of Fame quarterback. Bad idea.

Droford 01-12-2011 10:19 AM

Im pulling for the Jets 100% (want a Ravens home game in the AFC Champ Game) but I dont think its going to happen. theres never been a 5 seed vs 6 seed Champ Game since they went to 12 teams in 1990.

A 5 seed made it to the NFC title game in 2006 (Panthers) but lost. The Giants were a 5 Seed in 2008 when they won the Super Bowl. The Jets were a 5 seed last year and lost.

A 6 seed made it to the AFC title in 2006 (Steelers) and won, the first time a 5/6 seed made it to the Super Bowl under the current 12 team playoff format (since 1990). 2009 saw both 6 seeds making it to their respective title games (Ravens and Eagles) and they both lost.

Team Sheep 01-12-2011 10:49 AM

Fair enough if you don't think it's going to happen, if you ask my gut feeling I don't think it's going to happen, but for people to expect another 45-3 this time around is just laughable in my view.

I kinda like this Jets strategy. People are all worried about bulletin board material but seriously if you're an NFL player in the playoffs and you're not already as motivated as humanly possible, then why are you playing? Go away. So now the Jets are just trying to push the Patriots into proving a point, which might make the Pats just a little more reckless in their approach.

I dunno I still think the Patriots will win, but it should be close.

Hanso Amore 01-12-2011 01:56 PM

I bet Sanchez sucks as least 20 dicks in celebration if the Jets win. Like he will just tackle and hold down Ian Eagle and suck his soft dick.

Innovator 01-12-2011 02:04 PM

in a row

Kris P Lettus 01-12-2011 06:43 PM

Ftr qb's target the middle of the field when playing the jets after Leonard got hurt..

Reavant 01-12-2011 06:47 PM

i dont know why but my gut is telling me a bears packers nfc game and I see the ravens winning but i have no gut feeling to the jets pats.

Call me insane but I could see, with the way the season has gone for them, the bears winning the super bowl :o

screech 01-12-2011 07:35 PM

I am pulling for the Jetsons.

The Falcons might be the most underrated #1 seed I've ever seen. So much more love for the Pack going around.

This is not the wrestling forum.

Splaya 01-13-2011 02:19 PM

LOL I love the Jets moxie for this game, but I don't think they have a shot. Brady is going to torch them and the Sanchise is going to throw at least 3 picks

IC Champion 01-13-2011 02:44 PM

Rex Ryan should be worried get out schemed again by Belichick, like the first time around, and less about trash talking.

Supreme Olajuwon 01-13-2011 03:07 PM

I think trash talking IS his scheme.

IC Champion 01-13-2011 03:14 PM

Well then he's outta luck, because this isn't Belichicks or Brady's first trip to the dance.

Does anyone remember some player in the Steelers secondary calling Brady out a couple years back, and Brady ablosolutley lighting him up and embarrassing him? Jets should take note.

FearedSanctity 01-13-2011 03:59 PM

So the Broncos new head coach is the coach of the ONE team that managed to be worse than Denver last year? Talk about aiming low

Skippord 01-13-2011 04:06 PM

I think it's a fairly decent hire, would have preferred to just have McDaniels still though

Innovator 01-13-2011 04:31 PM

Wes Welker mentions feet 11 times in 9 minutes in his interview today.

James Steele 01-13-2011 05:46 PM

I feel dirty rooting for the Patriots, but damn it...Belichick is actually kind of loveable. I watched his Sound FX special on NFL Network and he is fucking hilarious.

They go into every division game as a must-win because every division victory is actually two victories. It gives you a better overall record and the tiebreaker for division record. Also the AFC East has a three way tie two times since the divisions were re-aligned. So, they know all to well the importance of every single division game because they usually decide the division.

Team Sheep 01-13-2011 07:59 PM

I didn't say it wasn't important. But December 6 wasn't a knockout situation...

I finally just arrived in Boston. What a long day.

ClockShot 01-13-2011 08:04 PM

John Fox as head coach.

Ok Bowlen, I REALLY hope you got it right. Now remember, DEFENSE FIRST!

Ermaximus 01-13-2011 10:04 PM

Cam Newton is entering the NFL draft as a junior. Question is, does he end up in Carolina, Arizona, Buffalo, or Cincinnati?

Honestly, Cincy is fine at QB with Carson Palmer and Buffalo would be dumb to draft him as they have a pretty damn good QB in Ryan Fitzpatrick. The guy just needs a better offensive line and a solid RB to hand off to.

Pretty sure Newton ends up in Carolina as the number 1 pick.

Boomer 01-13-2011 10:10 PM

I really don't see him going #1. He's certainly a first-rounder, but he isn't the kind of QB that is guaranteed to be good in the NFL. I would imagine someone will get a steal for him later in the first round.

Ermaximus 01-13-2011 10:12 PM

I wouldn't mind if the Jaguars took him in the first round. He's someone they could groom as a franchise QB if he works out in the NFL.

Emperor Smeat 01-13-2011 10:23 PM

Might be a bad choice as 1st Round pick since a few ESPN analysts were saying he's at least a 2-3 year development style player and not a player to just insert to start a season.

Although everyone thought the same of Tebow as not worth a 1st Round pick and Denver picked him up. Same draft where quality passing QBs were dropped till 2nd or later rounds (Clausen, McCoy).

This year's 1st Round and Top 10 is supposed to be very heavy in defensive players (maybe 1-2 offense style players taken in top 10).

Hanso Amore 01-13-2011 10:23 PM

Not buffalo

these fucks think RYAN FITYS COCK SANDWICH is the Key

MTH15 01-13-2011 10:39 PM

I get all stressed out by playoffs. Sports are pretty much the only thing in my life that gets me excited/nervous in life.

Boomer 01-14-2011 12:09 AM

I feel pretty shitty going to work on Monday if the Falcons lose on a Sunday. Luckily didn't have to deal with that much this year. I will definitely feel shitty if the Falcons don't show up as the #1 seed.

Nervous Ferret 01-14-2011 12:10 AM

If the Jets lose I will cry for a couple hours then get really excited about spring training.

MTH15 01-14-2011 02:09 AM

but on the other hand, if we win...... Ima celebrate until mutha fuckin monday and be cool all week until friday.
