Battle of the Themes #35 - Mashups

"Crank it Up" wins Big for Show.

The next few BOTTs will not be held down to just one wrestler's themes. They will consist of themes that I either originally intended would get "automatic passes" (mostly because they would obviously dominate) or I just wasn't going to do one for them for lack of themes.

Up first is "Mashups".

I loved the Corporate Ministry theme. 2nd would have to be Rated RKO

Rated RKO..... but if I'm not mistaken, Kane & The Hurricane had a good one when they teamed back in 2003 as well.....

I need to really think about this. It is either Rated RKO or Jerishow. I can't decide.

I decided Rated RKO. Jerishow is a very close second.

I ended up voting Jerishow, although it feels a little unfair since they got a brand new recorded theme as a mash-up rather than just a fade in/out like a lot of others.

I don't remember that RVD/Booker T theme, but after listening to it, that's probably because I suppressed the memory. Wow.

Rated RKO is kind of... bad. Don't know how it is getting so many votes. It is less a mash up, then a fade in/out of two songs that don't really mesh together.

I would have to vote for the Corporate Ministry. Though this version is much better:

Jerishow's Crank the Walls gets my vote because IMO 1)It's just plain awsome and 2)they were the one's responsible for helping to make the tag division in WWE actually mean something again
ps that Dupree/Suzuki theme is actually really catchy

I went with JeriShow. Rated RKO was a close 2nd, Corporate Ministry a close 3rd.

That is beyond awesome.

This one's pretty bad-ass too:

Just wanna say that The Brothers of Destruction Theme was omitted from the list, and was actually used in 2000-2001.

Break the Razor is legendary

I wouldn't consider that a mash-up. It's just a different intro.

Same with Kane intro into the DX theme.

I mostly hate it too, but the Austin/HHH mashup, and the Kozlov/Taker Mashups are bad ass

Someone please explain the appeal of the Rated RKO theme.

Rated RKO was a fun team, but the theme sucks.

Allied Powers was a shit team, but the theme is amazing.

Two themes put together to make one theme, btw.

I know this is bumping something odd, but a friend of mine who does music stuff finally got around to doing this for me:

How will Edge and Christian take on Christian and Swagger?

I'll make sure to bring that up... probably supposed to say "Jericho" the second time.

If I had voted I would have gone with Jeri-Show as it used apsects of both their theme and actually managed to group them together. Thought Rated RKO was also very good as well but it is simply tansitioned from one to other but don't get me wrong it's still well done. Corporate Ministy was decent too but know looking back I don't really feel the Ministry side of the theme sounded anywhere near the way it did before they teamed up.

Someone ought to mashup Tazz's WWE theme and Blackman's 2nd theme. They sound like they'd be excellent together.
