The names that, when you really think about them, make you say "how the fuck did he get over with that name?" or "why haven't they changed it?".

"Undertaker" is definitely one of them, especially once he evolved from his initial gimmick. I mean, yeah, it makes sense, but it's really generic sounding if it weren't for the man and the gimmick behind it.

The Big Show and Triple H have always sounded pretty odd, especially if someone new to wrestling didn't know about the hunter hearst helmsley thing

I've always thought for the longest time that real names are some of the hardest to get over instead of having a name with a gimmick.

When you think of names you also have to throw in the factor of how good their personality matched the name. I mean the Ultimate Warrior was a great name for his gimmick. The Dingo Warrior, not so much.

how about blade runner rock(ultimate warrior) and blade runner flash(sting)?

How is that generic? It may be lame now-a-days, but back then wrestling was all about names and gimmicks.

Yeah he's still been referred to as Hunter once and a while and I think Jack Swagger is a dumb generic name if you ask me especially more now than ever now that he's more serious.
