Wrestlemania XXVI Predictions Time
I can't believe nobody's started this thread yet. With just a little more then a week away it's time to post Wrestlemania Predictions...
World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho vs. Edge I'm gonna have to go with Edge on this one. And then Jericho will whine and cash in his rematch clause at the next PPV. Jericho will win there. Only then Christian who one Money in the Bank will cash in this contract to beat Jericho. Then we have a 3-way fued Edge, Christian, and Jericho. WWE Champion Batista vs. John Cena Somehow Batista will win and Johns Cena will continue walking around with his head down because he can't win anymore:'( CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio(CM Punk Wins Rey Mysterio has to join Straight Edge) I think CM Punk will win this one. It will be interesting to see Rey in the Straight Edge Society. The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels I think Undertaker will win. The streak continues and Michaels takes some time off. Whether or not it's short term or long term, who knows. Triple H vs. Sheamus Triple H to win this one. Why? Because he fucking Triple H damnit. Bret Hart vs. Mr. McMahon We all know The Hitman will win and get his ultimate revenge. Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Kane vs. Evan Bourne vs. MVP vs. Christian vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Jack Swagger vs. Matt Hardy vs Drew McIntyre This one is a tough one to predict. So many possibilities. But I put my money on Christian for my first pick. If he doesn't get it my second pick is Drew McIntyre. He's been getting nothing but pushes, so he's my second pick to win. Unified Tag Team Champion Big Show & The Miz vs. John Morrison & R-Truth I bet Morrison and R-Truth win this one due to interference by that down syndrome ape Brian Daniels, or Daniel Bryan, or whatever this turd burglars name is. Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Cody Rhodes (Triple Threat Match) Randy Orton will win this one for sure....Has anybody else noticed a slowly change to face for Randy Orton? I think it'll be Randy Orton vs. Batista after mania. |
i just gotta say, you have my favorite sig out of anyone here.
and once i sober up maybe i'll actually contribute to this thread |
Edge
Batista Mysterio Undertaker Sheamus (More than likely Trips will win, but it would be a great rub for him.) Hart (duh) Drew McIntyre (Since he's the only one being talked about being in MITB constantly) ShowMiz Orton |
1)Edge vs Jericho- winner Edge via SPEAR!!!
2)Cena vs Batista- not really sure here it's a tough one to call Cena has the appeal but I don't see Batista's reign as champ being this short. 3)Rey vs CM Punk- winner of course will be Rey Mysterio via overcoming the odds and making the little people happy. 4)Undertaker vs HBK- Undertaker's streak will remain unbroken and HBK will walk off into the sunset and 'retire'. 5)HHH vs Ronald Mcdonald (aka Sheamus)- unfortunatly I think a Sheamus win here is pretty likely. 6)Bret vs Mcmahon- we all know the answer to this it'll be the Hitman puttin' Vinnie in the Sharpshooter after a very 'unexpected' series of events probably involving many low card people who have nothing better to do. 7)Money in the Bank- hmm..... tough one but my money is either on Christian or McIntyre. 8)ShowMiz vs Morrison and R-Truth- ShowMiz will most likely come out on top perhaps even helping to set off the rumored Morrison heel turn. 9)Orton vs Ted DiBiase vs Cody Rhodes- Most likely an Orton victory here but wouldn't be surprised with a DiBiase win either. |
Edge vs Jericho - Edge
Cena vs Batista - Batista Michaels vs Undertaker - Undertaker Hart vs McMahon - Hart Triple H vs Sheamus - Sheamus Mysterio vs Punk - Mysterio Money in the Bank - Christian Orton vs Rhodes vs Diabiase - Diabiase ShowMiz vs R-Truth and Morrison - ShowMiz |
FFS, it's called tipsters. Triple Naitch will have it up by Friday guaranteed.

Not everybody signed up for tipsters.
|
Hey! I'm in that sig!
|
<font color=goldenrod>My initial gut was that Edge and Cena would both win, but I just can't see both titles changing hands again. Both belts got moved at Elimination Chamber and if they both moved again so soon it would just feel cheap for whatever reason.
It's really a tough call, the buildups have been great so I doubt I'll make my Tipsters predictions until WM morning. Put a gun to my head now and I'd say Batista probably retains with help from Vince (Vince being pissed off after having lost to Bret earlier). Cena earns a rematch at the next PPV or something. If Batista retained I can't see WM ending on that note. WM's only ended with the heel on top like twice so it's hard to bet against a third time happening this year.</font> |
Well, since these are just predictions for fun...I'll add little things just for the hell of it like the initial poster did. I'll give my winners as well as some fantasy booking.
1. MITB- Christian, McIntiyre, Kane, Bourne, Matt Hardy, MVP, Swagger, Benjamin, Ziggler. Christian. I have McIntiyre coming out last. As soon as he enters, have all 8 other guys attack him to take him out of the match, and have Striker say that "the superstars in this match didn't think he deserved to be in after failed chances, so they were going to give him what he deserved. 2. ShowMiz vs. Morrison and Truth ShowMiz retains I'd have the Miz cut a promo backstage, saying what he's said before...how he is the HBK and how Morrison was Marty Jannetty, and that after tonight, Marty Jannetty will be gone, Shawn Michaels will be gone, and John Morrison will be gone as well. Big Show in the ring illegally while the ref tends to R- Truth (injured outside the ring) punches out Morrison and Miz gets the three count over Morrison. 3. Cody Rhodes vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Randy Orton Randy Orton Backstage, Orton is asked how he can beat two of his proteges, in what some see as a handicap match...Orton says that he taught them everything they know, but not everything he knows. He also tells us that he has something neither of them have...Wrestlemania experience. Orton wins after Rhodes breaks up DiBiase's pin attempt on Orton, after a little arguing, Crossroads to DiBiase, Rhodes walks away and lets Orton get the win. 4. Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon Bret Hart via Sharpshooter. 5. CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio Rey Mysterio Via 619. Teddy Long bans Serena and Luke Gallows from ringside pre match HOF Introductions 6. John Cena vs. Batista Batista Batista attacks Cena on the way to the ring, throwing him into steps, ring posts, etc... wins after 2 Batista Bombs. 7. Sheamus vs. HHH HHH Sheamus attempts to pin HHH, HHH has foot under ropes, Sheamus argues with ref, knocks him out, HHH up, pedigree, new ref, 1-2-3. 8.Edge vs. Chris Jericho Edge How else...with a spear! Edge grabs the mic, Jericho walking back to the ramp, and Edge repeats "spear spear spear" again. Christian comes out through the crowd, hits Edge with Money in the Bank Briefcase, gets the 1-2-3 to become the new champion. Christian grabs the belt and runs to the back. Wrestlemania 27 coming to Atlanta promo Josh Matthews catches Christian before he leaves and asks why he did that to his own brother (or friend, or whatever WWE considers them to be now). Christian says a lot of reasons. #1, to make history as the only one to win MITB and the title on the same night, #2 because he's already beaten Jericho at Wrestlemania, and #3 because he can. #9. Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels Undertaker Pre match HBK tells HHH not to help him, this is all about HBK. Undertaker put HBK's career away after 2 Tombstone piledrivers. HHH comes out and helps HBK to the back to end the show, Undertaker posing in ring. End of show. I have the Miz going over Morrison because I'd lead it to a feud with Miz vs. Morrison over US Belt A lot of people talk about Orton being a face...but I see him as more of a tweener. I also have DiBiase taking the pinfall because there is more tension between him and Orton than there is with Cody. I have Sheamus losing controversially because it kills his character if he loses cleanly. I'm 99 percent sure my Christian idea won't happen, but based on how some people think the MITB winner could cash in, Christian makes the most sense...he was a former tag champ with both guys, has Wrestlemania history with both of them, and a first time Champion would really freshen up Smackdown. |

World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho vs. Edge
Rated R Superstar. Hopefully this feud is done right, as these are two of my favorite performers. WWE Champion Batista vs. John Cena Don't care. Hopefully MITB is cashed in after, unless the Corp. ver. 2 is started at Mania, then I'd go with Tista. CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio(CM Punk Wins Rey Mysterio has to join Straight Edge) Punk The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels Taker, due to Bret's involvement. Triple H vs. Sheamus See double turn thread, this would be amazing... except for the whole glass ceiling thing. Bret Hart vs. Mr. McMahon The Best there is. Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Kane vs. Evan Bourne vs. MVP vs. Christian vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Jack Swagger vs. Matt Hardy vs Drew McIntyre Xtian. Unified Tag Team Champion Big Show & The Miz vs. John Morrison & R-Truth Again, don't care. The E can't create great tag teams anymore, so Show should just eat the belts. Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Cody Rhodes (Triple Threat Match) Orton, but hopefully he doesn't turn face. I don't think he can handle being a good guy. |
Quote:
Not gonna happen, but that would be sweet to see a new Corporation. |
I don't think it's beyond the realm of possibility for Vince to lead a new stable. He's already got Batista as his hired gun, and over on Smackdown Drew Mcintyre is his handpicked pet, and Intercontinental champion.

Vince McMahon vs Cena on Raw
|
World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho vs. Edge
Edge since its been about 3 years a Royal Rumble winner won the title (same amount of years since last time Smackdown won the Rumble too). WWE Champion Batista vs. John Cena If this match is the last for the show then Cena will win otherwise Batista wins this to continue the "road for the title" for Cena. CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio(CM Punk Wins Rey Mysterio has to join Straight Edge) C.M. Punk since it would give him a big midcard win and give Rey a fresh start as a heel for a while. The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels Undertaker to win but HBK superkicks Undertaker after the bell ring to continue his "fanatical" character unlike last year where he hugged and gave Flair one last moment with the crowd. Triple H vs. Sheamus Sheamus has basically been squashing Triple H each week so according to traditional squash-led booking, Triple H wins the match. Bret Hart vs. Mr. McMahon Bret Hart Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Kane vs. Evan Bourne vs. MVP vs. Christian vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Jack Swagger vs. Matt Hardy vs Drew McIntyre Christian would be my main pick but would not be completely shocked if Shelton finally won the MITB after being in all of them. Unified Tag Team Champion Big Show & The Miz vs. John Morrison & R-Truth Show-Miz since it would be too soon for another champion after 1 month of Show & Miz holding the belts and stretches the feud for another couple of months. Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Cody Rhodes (Triple Threat Match) Randy Orton while DiBiase and Rhodes either being their split feud due to each other preventing the other from getting a pin or stay as a team and go after the tag title belts. |

World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho vs. Edge
Edge with a spear WWE Champion Batista vs. John Cena Batista. It won't be clean obviously. CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio(CM Punk Wins Rey Mysterio has to join Straight Edge) Rey for the kids. The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels Taker. Shawn gets time off and the streak continues. Triple H vs. Sheamus HHH. Then we get to see video packages about how HHH lost his first wrestlemania and how Sheamus needs to claw his way to the top. Bret Hart vs. Mr. McMahon Bret Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Kane vs. Evan Bourne vs. MVP vs. Christian vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Jack Swagger vs. Matt Hardy vs Drew McIntyre Christian. But he will feud with Drew before cashing it in, possibly a MITB vs belt match at MITB. Unified Tag Team Champion Big Show & The Miz vs. John Morrison & R-Truth Morrison and Truth. Miz has the US title and show can stand on his own. I want a decent reign for Morrison and truth before Morrison turns on him. Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase vs. Cody Rhodes (Triple Threat Match) Randy Orton |
John Cena vs. WWE Champion Batista
This match is the last for the show. Cena will win. Edge vs. World Heavyweight Champion Chris Jericho I’m going to have to go with Edge, only Christian, who wins Money In The Bank, will cash in to beat Edge, then we have a feud with Christian and Edge. :D Shawn Michaels vs. The Undertaker Undertaker will win, and Michaels takes some time off. Sheamus vs. Triple-H Triple-H to win. CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio Punk will win. Bret Hart vs. Vince McMahon Hart will win and get his revenge. Money In The Bank Ladder Match See Edge vs. Jericho Cody Rhodes vs. Randy Orton vs. Ted DiBiase Orton will win. John Morrison & R-Truth vs. Unified WWE Tag Team Champions The Big Show & The Miz Morrison and Truth win. |
World Heavyweight Championship: Chris Jericho (c) vs. Edge
I think Edge really needs to win here. Edge's story of recovery and such pretty much ends if he loses to Jericho, and it'd be so hard to really buy into him as a face. Edge should close the show holding the World Heavyweight Championship as we get pyro and streamers and such. WWE Championship: Batista (c) vs. John Cena I can understand why people think that Batista may retain, and I definitely think he has more of a chance than Jericho of walking out of Mania with the belt. I think the WWE are going to be looking for some big face moments to counter-act HBK's retirement, though. Cena finally proves he can beat the big man, although his moment in the sun may not last long before the Money in the Bank Winner, or even Batista or Ted DiBiase, takes the richest prize in the industry from him. Streak vs. Career: The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels Everything seems to add up to The Heartbreak Kid "retiring" after WrestleMania XXVI. Unlike most, I hope that this doesn't close the show, as I feel it is a moment of great loss, and needs to be followed up by a moment of great gain. I hope they have another classic, though, and that Matt Striker gets to add his insight from the commentary desk. No Holds Barred Match: Vince McMahon vs. Bret Hart The Chairman gets slapped in the Sharpshooter, and he taps out like a little bitch. This is about the only moment the WWE can give us. Sure, Vince's ego is pretty big, but I hope Bret has enough pride to make sure he doesn't become the first person to lose to Vince at WrestleMania. Hopefully this provides a great moment of triumph for the "good guys" at the event. Triple H vs. Sheamus I think that The Game would actually be more than willing to put over the Celtic Warrior here, but I just don't think the timing is right. A little face victory for Triple H here does more to bring the general fan's satisfaction with the night up, creates the symmetry between Triple H's win and Shawn Michaels' loss, and doesn't neccessarily bury Sheamus, either. He can look like a beast, but get pinned with two Pedigrees, or something. Maybe a sneaky sledgehammer shot? Something like that is the way to go, in my opinion, and could lead to a clean Sheamus victory at Extreme Rules. Triple Threat Match: Randy Orton vs. Cody Rhodes vs. Ted DiBiase Am I the only one who finds this very hard to call? I could make a case for either man going over. Cody Rhodes is the third wheel, so they could have Orton and DiBiase cancel each other out, and Rhodes steal the victory for himself. DiBiase could win, because the WWE apparently wants him to be a star, and a WrestleMania victory goes a long way to establishing that. Orton could win, because he's the established guy, it doesn't really hurt the other two, and it makes Orton look like someone worth investing in. My heart says Rhodes, my brain says DiBiase, but my gut says Orton. My guess is that an RKO ends it. CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio The stipulation that if Rey loses he must join the Straight-Edge Society makes this so much harder to call. On one hand, it seems obvious that Rey will thwart the evil Punk's plans to control him -- but I doubt this feud is going to end at WrestleMania, and Punk winning ties them together in a storyline. It really just depends on where they want to go with the story. Punk is such a good heel and Rey is such a good face that either direction is interesting enough. My guess is that Rey wins, and Punk still targets him in coming weeks. Money in the Bank Ladder Match: Christian vs. Dolph Ziggler vs. Kane vs. Shelton Benjamin vs. Jack Swagger vs. MVP vs. Matt Hardy vs. Evan Bourne vs. Drew McIntyre The Chosen One wins this one, sorry. There is a lot they can do with a Christian victory; but I think they go with a heel winning it this year. I could also see Drew McIntyre cashing in and becoming the youngest WWE Champion of all-time. The reason I am going with him, as opposed to Christian, is the love backstage for McIntyre, and the fact that the story of MITB has predominantly been his, and whether or not he will even get the opportunity. It's the perfect set-up for him to steal the win. Unified WWE Tag Team Championship: Show-Miz (c) vs. Truth & Wisdom To be honest, my natural instinct says that Show-Miz retains, even though there are so many reasons to do the switch to John Morrison & R-Truth. I do hope they pull the switch, and that Daniel Bryan gets involved so that WWE NXT gets some exposure at the event. |

|
<font color=goldenrod>It's been said that the brand split will likely be ignored through Extreme Rules...so I could see a face like Christian winning MITB but then Mr. McMahon grants Drew McIntyre the chance to win the briefcase (much like how Edge didn't win MITB yet won the briefcase because Kennedy got injured)</font>

Wrestlemania Matches
What are your predictions for match quality?
Best Match: HBK vs Taker. no brainer Worst Match: Orton vs Dibiase vs Rhodes. i can see this one being a bad match. either this or HHH vs Shaemus, but i wanted to go a little left field. Most Disapointing Match: Jericho vs Edge. Somehow i think this will be neglected by wwe in favour of ther other main events. surpasses expectations: Cena vs Batista. it might actually be one hell of a match! *thought the threads were a little different, seeing as mine was actual match ratings and this one was winners.* |
I think Cena-Batista will steal the show, to be honest
|
<font color=goldenrod>Pretty much just posted this in the Raw thread, but:
Kudos to WWE. When it became apparent at Elimination Chamber that it would be Batista vs. Cena, I felt that there was nothing they could do to make me think for a second that Cena wasn't going to win. And as great as the promos and buildup been, for weeks they'd seemingly confirmed my beliefs. Batista got the upper-hand every time and it just seemed like a classic "Cena overcomes the odds" moment set up, but then on the last Raw before the show, Cena actually showed Batista up on the mic and got somewhat of an upper-hand. And now, 6 days before the show, I have doubts about who will win. My gut and brain still say Cena, if only because the heel has only won the main event just twice in history. Cena will probably win and Batista will get his re-match clause at Extreme Rules. However, I could definitely also see Vince screw Cena out of the match and the fired-up Cena will challenge Batista to some crazy gimmick match for the next PPV. I really don't know. Great work WWE. You took a feud I never thought I'd care about, and made me care.</font> :y: |
What are your predictions for match quality?
Best Match: HBK vs Taker there's not doubt this match will steal the show. Worst Match: Showmiz vs Morrison and R-Truth. I've been saying this since the beginning. I have very little hope for this match Most Disapointing Match: I hate to say it but, Hart vs. McMahon. We all wanna see Hart come out as the Hitman in his Pink and Black attire. Wrestle like only the Hitman can. But this just simply isn't going to happen. surpasses expectations: Punk vs Mysterio. With this being the last match announced, it's had the least hype. I expect this to be the 3rd best actual wrestling match of the night. |

<font color=goldenrod>Oh yeah, definitely think CM Punk will win his match. In the following weeks then, Rey will be a member of the Straight Edge Society. Rey refuses to unmask despite Punk's insistence that Rey is using it to hide behind his sins or something.
Builds up to a Mask vs. Hair match at Extreme Rules, which Rey would obviously win. Really digging their feud.</font> |
What colored ring ropes do you guys PREDICT will be at this years Wrestlemania? Going by the theme of the PPV (being all desertish) I suspect red or orange are the most likely choices. Black is always possible to make an appearance and I will say brown is the darkhorse for this years ring ropes.
A little history of WM ring ropes in case anyone is wondering/extremely bored: SPOILER: show |
Given the logo and design, yellow wouldn't shock me.
|
my money is on blue ropes
|
I wish they'd do mat graphics like they did for 11 and 12 again. I liked them.
I wonder if they didn't do them anymore because it required a bunch of back ups? Since WWE tends to change the mat at least twice an event now I've noticed. |
The ropes will probly be the ASU colors. It Seems thats the color theme.

Red ropes are my gut instinct this year. I was so hoping for silver ropes last year, for the record. The blue sort of surprised me. But the deserty theme makes me think that red or orange are most likely this year.
|
I'd like to see the black and gold ropes return at Wrestlemania 30, which will probably be at MSG
|
I could see an orange rope between two red ropes being quite nice.
|
That would be cool. Burgundy or Brown would look awesome IMO.
I hope we dont get Red & Yellow. Would look like Hulka-Wrestle-Mania 26 |
|
There are going to be cauldrons lining the stage with flames buring at 1000 degrees
|
Taker probably isnt too thrilled about that
|
I don't want to see the set until the PPV comes on air on Sunday. That's always kind of exciting
|
I predict that Jim Ross, regardless of what he says, will be calling The Undertaker vs. Shawn Michaels. They might write off one of the announcers during the match previous -- my guess is Matt Striker. Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler & Jim Ross are my picks to call the main event matches.
|
Hopefully. The quality and legacy of that match will be impacted for the better if JR calls it. I think WWE realizes this.
|
The same could be said for any match at WrestleMania. I really want to hear Matt Striker calling the big Mania matches, too. That man is fantastic. Jim Ross & Matt Striker would be my ideal WrestleMania commentary team this year.
|
I think Striker would be more valuable to matches like Punk/Mysterio and Sheamus/HHH, whereas JR would lend a ton to HBK/Taker and Cena/Bats.
Obviously I'd like them both to be on for the whole show, but I'm suggesting this under the assumption that WWE wants to stick with a 3 man team and wouldn't have both of them on at the same time. If they each called half the show, and WWE got to appease Cole and King, I'd settle for that. |
Quote:
|
Oh I agree. I'd like them both to be on the whole show. I just think the WWE is deadset on sticking with a 3 man team, and if getting JR to do the main events meant Striker had to take a bow, I'd be for that.
Ideally, I'd like to see JR, Stiker, and a new and improved heel King call the event. Cole and King are more than likely staying put though, and that means we will only get Striker or JR. Not both. That's why I say have them split the duties. |
Striker: MITB, tag titles match, Rey/Punk, HHH/Sheamus, Jericho/Edge
JR: HBK/Taker, Bret/Vince, Cena/Batista |
I also kinda doubt they'd switch up the team mid-show though.
|
An announce team of Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler & Matt Striker could be interesting. Lawler & Striker are the color analysts of each brand, while JR would be the "Voice of the WWE" returning to call the event. If they wanted to, they could start the show off with the Michael Cole, Jerry Lawler & Matt Striker trio, only for Cole to be caught in the cross-fire of one match. Lawler & Striker contemplate about continuing the show on with two color guys, when Jim Ross' music hits, and he gets a warm return to the WWE.
In my ideal world, this would piss Michael Cole off, and we'd see the more irritable jackass that is so entertaining on WWE NXT. |
I've got it. Put Jim Ross, Jerry Lawler & Matt Striker on commentary. During the event, Michael Cole can debut something call the "WrestleMania Winner's Circle" or something. He basically conducts post-match interviews with every Superstar victorious at WrestleMania. Normal backstage interviewing duties are handled by Todd Grisham, Josh Mathews and maybe even Savannah.

Your Dream Wrestlemania 26 Results
We all know what's probably going to happen tomorrow but what would you enjoy seeing personally....
|
* John Morrison & R-Truth defeat The Miz & Big Show to win the Unified WWE Tag Team Championship in the opening match. Morrison & Truth get some sort of special entrance hyping them up as a combination of real and surreal, and all that nonsense. Daniel Bryan helps out the faces with their victory. Big Show then lays out The Miz with a KO Punch after the match.
* Drew McIntyre wins Money in the Bank. Christian has the match won at one point, but the briefcase is raised from his reach, screwing over Captain Charisma. McIntyre wins the rigged match. * The Miz defends his US Title in an impromtu match ordered by Theodore Long. His opponent is his own NXT rookie, Daniel Bryan, who puts him in a Crossface Chickenwing relatively fast, and The Miz is given the option of "tap or snap." The Miz chooses to tap, and we get a new United States Champion. * I've finally come around, and I think Randy Orton should win the Triple Threat. Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase get at each other's throats a little too much, and Orton hits an RKO on each man and scores the pin on Ted DiBiase (I think he will be hurt least by it). * CM Punk defeats Rey Mysterio when he catches a West Coast Pop attempt and counters it into a GTS. I hope this match gets appropriate time. Rey Mysterio, as a result, is forced to join the Straight-Edge Society in one of the downers of the night. * Triple H defeats Sheamus with a Pedigree in a clean, back and forth match. I think Sheamus looks good enough with an impressive showing here. * Bret Hart puts Vince McMahon in the Sharpshooter. That is all. * The Undertaker forces Shawn Michaels to tap out to the Hell's Gate, finishing his career on a definite note. For now, of course. * The face Divas win the pointless Diva stuff. Hopefully Beth Phoenix looks like a beast here, and gets to pin Vickie Guerrero. Santino Marella, for some reason, seems like he would get involved here. * John Cena defeats Batista to win his seventh WWE Championship, but then "Broken Dreams" hits, and out comes the Intercontinental Champion and Mr. Money in the Bank. He has that smug look on his face as he stalks his way to the ring, and Cena knows he is fucked. McIntyre then mauls Cena, who eventually puts up a fight, but gets pinned with the Future Shock, making McIntyre the youngest WWE Champion in history. * Edge defeats Chris Jericho in the main event with a Spear to win his sixth World Heavyweight Championship. We then get the big celebration, as Edge closes the show with his tenth career World Title. Again, I hope this gets the appropriate time. |
<font color=goldenrod>WWE has done a great job of keeping me guessing here. Both faces seem like slam dunks to win their respective titles, but I think they've only switched both belts once (WM 21 with Cena and Batista each winning their first) not to mention Batista and Jericho both just won their belts a month ago.
That being said, my DREAM results that will likely not happen: -Punk over Rey -Christian wins MITB -Jericho over Edge (Christian cash-in after and he wins) -Batista over Cena (screwjob) -Taker over HBK in a classic The other matches I'm pretty much content no matter the result.</font> |
my dream wrestlemania will keep the video hype packages to a bare minimum, and also no constant fucking reminder about the guest hosts of raw tomorrow

I'd like to see Morrison get pissed at R Truth for Kooning and costing the team a victory. Miz would start popping off like he could be his old parter any time, we get an impromptu payoff US Title match between the incrowd, where we see Morrison win the strap and start his heel turn. I want to see Bats win, and Edge Lose only for somebody to come out and Cash the MITB in.
|
1. MizShow open the show and retain.
2. CM Punk beats Rey and must join SES 3. Christian wins MITB 4. Divas fuck off 5. Bret Hart makes Vinny tap out 6. Chris Jericho retains title but Christian cashes in MITB and wins the title. Setting up Edge/Jericho/Christian triangle of amazingness. 7. Cena wins in a good match. 8. HHH beats Sheamus but the match is actually good. And HHH uses his King of Kings outfit. 9. Orton wins in a quick blow off. 10. Undertaker retires HBK. There is no "dream finish" on this one. Kinda a downer any way you look at it. |
And I wanna see Hunter Put Ginger over in a double turn. I also wanna see an epic no finish between Taker and HBG

Christian to win money in the bank
Beth Phoenix's team defeats piggy gayrerro's team(after the match beth stinkfaces vickie aka piggy gayrerro) Edge spears and beats jericho to win the title Bret Hart puts vince in the sharpshooter to win Undertaker beats HBK Randy Orton Beats Rhodes and Dibiase HHH beats Sheamus Truth and Wisdom(John Morrison and R-truth) beat ShoMiz Cm punk beats rey Batista beats cena and christian after winning money in the bank, cashes in and beats batista for the wwe title |
Everyone's dream scenario is Taker winning again. :nono:
Bastards. |
Not having Cena win. But that's wishful thinking.
|
I want to see Shawn Michaels defeat The Undertaker and for Undertaker to go crazy and Tombstone the hell out of everyone in the building.
|
That would be alright by me.

Yeah I wanna see the same look on Takers face as in this. |
Honestly, that's actually my ideal result of that match. Taker gets pinned after Sweet Chin Music, HBK rolls off and onto his knees, head in hands, emotionally and physically drained after finally succeeding and then Taker gets up eventually, gets a crazy look in his eyes and just snaps.

Here's the order I'd put Wrestlemania and the results I'd book...
For the WWE Championship Batista (c) v. John Cena Batista hits John with the Attitude Adjustment. Cena hist Batista with the Batista Bomb. John Cena wins with an attitude adjustment from the second turnbuckle. Career v. Streak Shawn Michaels v. The Undertaker Shawn loses when he passes out in the Hell's Gate Submission Hold. No Holds Barred Match Bret Hart v. Vince McMahon No funny buisness, no bullshit. Bret and Vince fight for about ten minutes and Vince taps to the Sharpshooter. Shemus v. Triple H Triple H wins a hard fought match. After the match Triple H respects Shemus goes for the handshake only to get assulted by Shemus. For the World Heavyweight Championship Chris Jericho (c) v. Edge Edge hits a spear for a close 2 count. Edge hits another spear Jericho gets a leg on the ropes. Edge hits a third spear and Jericho falls to the outside. Edge goes for a fourth spear and gets hit with the code breaker and Jericho wins. For the Unified Tag Team Championship ShowMiz (c) v. John Morrison & Ron Killings ShoMiz wins clean with a knockout punch. Triple Threat Match Cody Rhodes v. Randy Orton v. Ted DiBiase Randy Orton wins pinning Ted DiBiase. After the match Randy Orton sets up for the punt but is stopped by Cody who instead attacks Ted on his own. After he's done beating down Ted he raises Randy Orton's hand and it turns out they were working together all along. Then Randy Orton RKO's Cody and it turns out they weren't working together. Money in the Bank Ladder Match Christian v. Dolph Ziggler v. Drew McIntyre v. Evan Borne v. Jack Swagger v. Kane v. Kofi Kingston v. Matt Hardy v. Montel Vontavious Porter v. Shelton Benjamin MVP wins and then with the Brief case in his position turns heel and because the arrogant MVP we all learned to love. 10-Diva Tag Match Beth Phoenix, Eve, Gail Kim, Kelly Kelly, & Mickie James v. Alicia Fox, Layla, Maryse, Michelle McCool, & Vickie Guerrero The face Diva's win when Beth Phoenix pins Vicky Guerrero If Mysterio Loses He Must Join the Straight Edge Society CM Punk v. Rey Mysterio [I]CM Punk wins with help from Luke Gallows, Serena, and Darren Young who comes to the ring with his head shaved finally accepting straight edge in his life. |
I wanna see HBK Defeat Taker. Then when the match is over the whole crowd is clapping for both stars and they shake hands in the ring and pose as Mania goes off.....
Then both people are gone for a few months giving people to live down the amazing match they will hopefully have. |
Dream results?! Now I have seen it all!
|
I wanna see HBK beat Taker in the Main Event
Christian win MITB and then right before the Jericho Edge match, he comes out and says it is now a triple threat match Punk win and make Rey join the SES Orton pin Rhodes then have Dibiase get up and beat up both of them |
Heyman's Final Final FINAL Predictions.
Here are my final predictions:
1) Cena defeats Batista 2) Edge defeats Jericho 3) Undertaker defeats Shawn Michaels 4) Orton defeats Dibiase and Rhodes 5) Vince defeats Bret (I think Bret is too obvious of a choice which is why the WWE might go a different route). 6) Heel divas win 7) Rey Mysterio defeats Punk 8) ShowMiz defeats Truth/Morrison 9) Drew McIntyre wins MITB 10) Triple H defeats Sheamus |
I think it would be interested to see Christian win MITB and then cash in tonight against Edge.....but it won't happen.
Another thought - I wouldn't mind seeing Triple H turn heel by helping Vince defeat Bret (and perhaps creating a new Evolution consisting of Triple H-Vince-Batista). Batista could be world champ on RAW, while Triple H could contend for world title on Smackdown. The new Evolution could be on both shows with both Batista and Triple H as world champions on their respective shows (maybe HHH gets an immediate shot against Edge the night after Mania?) |
