Apparently he won the pre-show Battle Royal. They felt this was important enough to tell us fairly late into WrestleMania. Do you think Yoshi Tatsu will be getting a mid-card push or anything of the like?

He'd have some good matches with The Miz.

No he will not get a push, if he does it will last a month, and then he won't go anywhere. I've mentioned this before maybe 50 times on this forum alone. Just because you can wrestle in the ring doesn't mean you're going anywhere. Never heard him on the mic. I'm sure there's a reason for that. He looks like a gay dragon. And I'm not sure what his gimmick is, probably a gay dragon. If he gets any sort of push, for even a mid-card title shot. He will lose, and that will be the end of his push.

As cool as it is to watch, it's sort of hard to work the Japanese style when noone else is going to work it. They're trying to cut down on injuries and so forth, Japanese style isn't conducive to that.

I remember WCW guys like Jericho injuring people because they came itno WWF working a stiffer style. And that was well before WWE PG.

I'd mark out for Yoshi Tatsu winning the United States Title. Just sayin'.

RVD busting up Angle as well is another case. Either way PG has nothing to do with how guys work matches, I just think Vince realizes that he's better off with healthy guys than broken down guys.


Don't get me wrong I'd love to watch these guys work the Japanese style, but then we'd be dealing with brutal injuries and shortened careers. We think the painkillers and booze was bad before, make that style prevalent and we'll see a whole new era of pain killers. Not everyone's Stan Hansen who could just do it night in and night out (although his knees were bunk by the end).

The only guy I can think of who insisted on working a style similar to that in the WWE (although toned down comparitively to actual Japan) other than cruiserweights who are small enough that they don't die from it, was Benoit, and look what happened to him. And to two lesser extents Guererro and Angle. We know what also happened to Guerrero, and Angle was breaking down on the WWE schedule.

William Regal? His style is very British, and more "snug" than stiff. But I wouldn't say his ring work is a clone of everyone else's.

lol Regal and Finlay are both pretty stiff, but Finlay works fairly sporadically and he's not as snug as he used to be.... and Regal... well he's dabbled with pain killers.

John Morrison works a different style as does HBK and so forth, they just aren't brutally stiff.
