What do they have to do?
What does TNA have to do to make you tune in every week?
|
Khali.
|
i do tune in every week
|
Pay me.
|
Really though, I'm probably gonna record next week's show to see Brooke Adams.

Signing shelton benjamin would be a nice start.

There's no "other" so I can choose Khali.
|
Put out a decent product.
|
Make RVD'S theme better.
|
Stop doing really fucking weird stuff with OJ. (dunno if they still are)
|
Don't know why this isn't multiple choice, because they have to do a lot more than one thing.
|
You never mentioned that there would be a poll, and with such an open ended question, I don't know why anybody would expect one.
|
What a poorly structured poll. One option says "Go live every Monday", another says "Go back to Thursday", and another says "All of the Above". That doesn't even make any sense. I call shennanigans on this thread and I demand that it be closed and restarted with either no poll or a non-idiotic one.

Get me cable for one, then not suck.

Well that would be impressive. If they could somehow do that, maybe I'd watch. |
I actually quite enjoyed TNA during the time period of late 2006-2008. Perhaps even more than WWE product at the time. Then I stopped watching due to me being too busy to catch it.
Started watching again with this whole Hogan-era, but it has been mostly garbage. So the answer is to be like they were in 2006-2008. |
I actually watched a decent amount of it in 2008 myself, and I was completely disgusted. I stopped watching when I took a job in Baltimore and never returned to it when I came home. The last full episode I watched was Hogan's debut, and that was so fucking stupid that I don't know if I can ever forgive them.
|
I don't care, but you make too many poll threads SaskatchewanChamp.
|
They like polls in Saskatchewan.
|
Do all of his polls suck this much....*ahem* pole?

Instead of addressing the issue here, SaskatchewanCHUMP has made an entirely different thread about it. He's getting out of hand. It would appear there's a NEW 'loose cannon' here in the TPWW Universe, and I don't know who's going to be able to stop him.
|
But I can't fucking VOTE for Loose Cannon. So he fucking fails.
|
He does that for heel heat.

I will tune in regularly if they sign one or more of the following wrestlers:
Chris Jericho CM Punk Shawn Michaels The Rock Other than that, I dunno. They could just get better. |

Simple. You follow the IWC's go-to answer for a situation like this.
They need to turn him heel/have him join Punk's stable. Him being everyone on the roster. |

More Shark Boy

Until they bring in David Arquette to win and bring credibility to the title, they will never have any credibility as an organization with a championship.

I'm going to go with creatively because that trumps all. I'd like them to make other moves, like going live all the time, touring, and canning certain shit. Still, none of that guaruntees a good show.
A well booked show is a well booked show. I don't care if Russo, Bischoff, or the popcorn guy is booking it. If it's good, I'm for it. All of the tools they have could be assets for them if they used them right. Hogan and Bischoff shouldn't be all over every segment and the focus of everyone's fued, but they can work as authority figures. Russo can lend ideas. Flair can still be entertaining when he isn't wrestling/blading/stealing the spotlight from everyone he works with. He should be used in the role he was with Evolution. There's a bunch of things. No one person or element is the whole answer or the whole problem. Except Rob Terry. He needs to go. |

HAAHHA you just made me think of The Saskatchewan International Championship Title. |
have quality angles and quality matches that make sense and are rewarding over a long period of time.

:naughty: |
There is absolutely 0 long term booking in TNA. Fueds are lucky if they last more than a month, heel and face turns mean nothing, and there's no investment into storylines and characters that makes events rewarding.
This is why TNA has no dream matches on the horizon, which could increase interest in PPVs and result in a "pay off" financially and creatively. The only semi-hyped matches they have occur organically when a new star comes into the company, and they usually pull the trigger on them immediately with no teasing or hype. |
TNA needs to make better stars on their own, too. It's fine to have already made stars from WWE/WCW but eventually they will need to learn how to make their own stars or else they will fuck themselves over. These guys won't be around forever. This goes beyond the Hogan and Flair past their prime types. TNA relies too much on ex-WWE stars. Dixie must have multiple orgasm's every April during Vince's "spring cleaning"

My thoughts on TNA and what needs to be done to gain my viewership:
1. On a weekly basis TNA Impact puts on better ACTUAL wrestling matches since moving to Mondays. 2. I actually love most of the TNA roster. 3. However, the flow & the storylines (writers!) is the reason I lose interest. I can't say they are 100 percent horrible. The Angle/Anderson feud was semi-poorly written but the action spoke for itself and made that my favorite feud I have seen in TNA. 4. I have been loyal to WWE since the original Monday Night Wars...I guess a part of me is close minded....That isn't to say that I wouldn't switch shows if the product was better. So writers, that is my rant....It is on YOU ...the roster is tight and the wrestling is pretty amazing for free TV...... |

The actual wrestling is better on TNA, and while some of the storylines are a bit overdone, and prone to changing things about a bit too quickly. It makes a nice change from WWE taking 6 weeks to actually get somewhere with a storyline, only to wreck the storyline in the process. If anyone from TNA reads this I have just 1 request, please let Abyss have his own identity and not just copy Hogan. Abyss "Hulking Up" just looks a bit corny and a cheap copy. Sure have Hogan mentor him, that makes perfect sense, but dont just copy Hogan, have him learn from him. |
Stop being WWE Lite.
I just hate watching those poorly acted back-stage skits where they pretend that the camera isn't there and the announcers pretend they don't see. I'd prefer a more sports-mimicking style like in old ECW and old WCW. Better entrance music couldn't hurt...I find myself grimacing as certain wrestlers make their way to the ring. Better writing would be nice... |

Get rid of Hogan, Flair and Russo.
I watched my first Impact last week in maybe five years (I don't have the channel for it, but watched it with a friend), and I swear inbetween every match there was a fucking Hogan/Flair segment. And then immediately after every match there was some drama issue ie. a beatdown, a run-in, a Hogan/Flair run-in. Hogan and Flair, mainly Hogan though :shifty: is gonna run this company to the ground. |
