Now that Showmiz is finished...
The Miz can finally defend his US Title for the first time in like 3 months. Who are the top 3 contenders you see competing against The Miz for the title.
My Picks: 1. John Morrison - Would be excellent feud 2. R-Truth 3. Goldust(probably not but it'd be cool) |
morrison
carlito ted dibiase |
morrison
morrison morrison |
A fued with Morrison is a given. Truth most likely goes after that. Doesn't really matter anyways as I see Miz only losing the US Title to 1 guy in the next few months. That being Daniel Bryan of course.
|
Morrison is the only logical choice I can see, as the majority of the Raw mid-card is heel
|
Ted DiBiase SHOULD get the title shot and the title.
Ps I fucking love the Miz but a little change is good. |
Quote:
DiBiase needs a fued..but I have no idea with who? Any ideas? |
well....The Miz is what I had in mind. 2 mid card heels can easily feud over a title especially if they throw Morrison in the mix and make it another 3 way dance.
|
...Chris Jericho. :)
Or at least tag with Chris Jericho. Call it MizIcho. Basically, some form of interaction with Chris Jericho is needed. |
Jericho + Miz = Jiz

by the way brian danielson has wrestled many times in-front of 50,000 people. what have you done? |
DiBiase could easily feud with Goldust. Calling him "the unfortunate son", and how all the talent skipped him and went straight to Little Brother.

Hey, fella! You should check out this nifty lil invention we got here in these new times! See, here's the deal: They take video, (typing slowly so you can understand, please read slowly too so it sinks in) rip it to a computer and bam! Video files! These are then uploaded to the internet at sites like YouTube, Dailymotion, Hulu, JTV, and the like. Still here? Go watch some shit so you're informed on the subjects in which you choose to speak! One is not wise to have an opinion about something without knowing anything about it.:shifty: |

Daniel Bryan has a long head and a short torso. That is where his immediate, known shortcomings end.
Anyway, when did Michael Cole join TPWW? |
The bum (Obviously referring to Bryan) is already 28 years old and is just "making it" to the big time. Why the fuck would they waste their time trying to promote this clown who has ZERO personality, ZERO mic skills, and has the body of Ric Flair? They wouldn't, PERIOD.
|
Chris Benoit.

A main event in Madison Square Garden at WrestleMania, beating Triple H clean. They got something out of it, amazing matches and, at the very least, amazing undercard/uppercard programs which sold.

also many many of the 'top guys' didn't have personality or mic skills, which is where managers come in, don't you know anything about wrestling at all? |

He came from ECW to WCW. He came from the bingo hall.

Tazz came from the bingo hall and beat Kurt Angle's undefeated streak right out of the gate. I'm perfectly aware of where his career went, but that was huge for a "bingo haller" to do something like that.

Except he doesn't have the body of Ric Flair. He just doesn't overroid.

So define bingo hall.
ROH? Below ROH? What about all his work in Japan? He wrestled in fucking New Japan. Is that moot? Working in one of if not Japan's biggest wrestling promotion? |

So basically, to be successful you have to be known to the mainstream audience in WWE before debuting....
Is that what you're saying? |

@ Tyler: Name calling isn't going to prove your point, fella. Also, come to think of it your whole argument is based off of your opinion. That doesn't really work out so well. |

No. I am saying Bryan Danielson cannot, and will not be successful.

There's no confusion TJ. I don't like him. I've seen what he has to offer. That's all I need to see. He will fail. And when he does meet me back on this thread in under a year so I can say I told you so.

You all can be fan boys all you want. And I have no idea why you all are. But he won't make it. I'm sorry. He has no gimmick, he has no mic skills...he would have made it in the 80's but he won't make it now. I know it's cool to vote for the underdog. But seriously, I think this is one of those things where the most of you just wanted to jump on the band wagon. Just make sure you jump back off before it goes off the cliff.

You do realize that they brought him in for a reason, right?
They put him against CHRIS JERICHO, the WORLD CHAMPION, in his first match. You're going to tell me that, at the very least, WWE doesn't see something good in him? For having his first match, which was quite competitive, against the world champion? |

As for Otunga, of course he's getting the guest host spot. His strength lies in talking and charisma, and outside of Barrett, no one else on NXT comes close. Plus he has the free publicity of being Kate Hudson's finance. Why would they put Danielson in a spot he would never be able to fill? As Heyman says, accentuate the positives, hide the negatives. I don't put much into what they're doing with him in terms of the losing streak or being cocky with the challenges. I won't armchair it here because I know how much you hate that, but until he's out of NXT and on the main roster, don't think you're seeing everything you've seen about Danielson. They're building him up by breaking him down, it's logical and it's a bit obvious in where they're taking it. |

I don't think Danielson will be going anywhere within the next 2-3 years. I think it's going to take years for WWE to build him up to where he can be. He's not getting shot to the moon, but he also isn't being left behind and I honestly can't see him flopping unless they throw him in the main event anytime soon.
He'll start at the bottom and work his way up. He may fail, but to say that failing is his only option is being completely blind to who he is and what he's capable of. And what WWE's capable of. |
Good discussion Xero, as for the others they can piss off, but as for you, it was good. Im going golfing, Peace!

The Miz will move on too bigger and better things such as....competing in local carnival booths and late night poetry sessions

R-Truth since The Miz already proven he's better than Morrison but that's not to say he's necesserily any better than him but a decent substitute for the time being ideally i'd prefer it be Evan Bourne takes the strap.
