On games like Call of Duty, do you play inverted or regular?

Inverted. Should be the default setting. Out of everyone I've played Halo and such with, only 1 person has used normal.

Don't get why you'd play inverted. Yes, it's more "realistic" when it comes to the gun itself, but I go by the cursor, not "lulz i tink im relly shootin tings".

i dont think anyone plays inverted to be cool or anything...i think its just a matter of what gives you a better feel for precision. For whatever reason, as far back as i can remember (with Goldeneye being the exception), ive always been more mobile/accurate with inversion.

I'm not bitching about it, it just doesn't make sense. It's a cursor and you're controlling it, well, inverted. It doesn't really matter and doesn't make a difference in game (except for the fact that some people play one way and the other because it's their preference). It's just a logic factor to me, and logically, I'm controlling a cursor, whether on a console or the PC.

I think a better question is WHY you chose inverted/regular in the first place.

Go invert your axis on your mouse. By your logic, you'll have no trouble controlling it.

It still makes sense to move the mouse down to look up in an FPS game because in order to point a gun upward you would have to tilt you head/shoulder/wrist back.

For a controller I play inverted as it feels more natural but for the mouse I play normal. It's more to do with what I find to be comfortable.

I play inverted because it feels more "natural." Keep in mind we're talking "natural" when manipulating a character entirely with my thumbs and a couple fingers.
