I had a simple formula that didn't work at first, but now sees me climbing the ranks.
1. Other than the United States, pick the team I thought had bigger soccer fans to win. If I thought they were about the same, I tie them. 2. Give South Africa an extra win. 3. Try to guess the scores correctly (fail) 4. Pick the U.S. to win all their games. 5. Pick a comically lop-sided shutout score for America's wins. At the rate I'm going with the scores, America's 18-0 win over Algeria seems as likely as Austrailia beating Serbia 1-0. |
