where is this daniel bryan thing going?
your ideas?
|
Losing streak for Danielson, as he's about to win his first match, Miz costs him the win, setting something up for them was the 'idea/impression' I got. Then again, I've seen literally one half of an episode of NXT and Danielson's match with Batista a week or 2 ago. So I wouldn't know.

Pretty clear they're going to bring him in as Bryan Danielson in the near future. I'm sure it wasn't the plan all along, but I'm guessing they're going to do it so that he was sort of "sticking it" to WWE for making him go through what he did after what he did on the indy. That's what I got from the promo. Basically, he was just being a cocky motherfucker this whole time and will come out kicking ass as Bryan Danielson. |
BTW, how did your training go?
|
I'm only queer in my happy areas.

He's probably going to take sometime off, just long enough so the couple people who watch NXT forget him, but then BAM! He'll show up one day outta the blue and cost The Miz the US Title.
And Michael Cole will be all like "THAT'S DANIEL BRYAN!!! NOT THIS WAY!!! DANIEL BRYAN IS BACK!!!" |
I like how Tyler deleted his two posts to make my comment seem out of no where.

So yeah. He totally outpopped Cena on Raw the other week. I don't know what program you were watching, but the millions and millions of Daniel Bryan fans were totally out in force. |

Hate to break this to ya, but TNA, before it became WCW 2.0, was "independent crap." Now it's just crap.
|
They obviously don't want to wait very long to re-debut him because once he is out of the spotlight a month or 2 the chances people will really remember him (especially after NXT concludes) is slim. Well, he'll be remembered but it won't be with as much impact.
If they want to wait for the long term I'd say bring him in at the Royal Rumble to eliminate a major face.. Or for short term, have him come out on the NXT finale and beat down the winner to end the show. |
This has been the most entertaining thread in weeks...
|
maybe i should actually read it. I read the initial post and then created my opinion with skipping all the middle. Perhaps I should have read first. Did I waste my time writing a thoughtful response!@?>

Good Evening folks! Before I state my opinion, I would like to say to all involved in this thread so far, calm the hell down!
Now, I have nothing but respect for those wrestlers that make their way onto the independent circuits and do what they love to do. However, what these guys do on the circuits and what is done in the WWE is completely different. Like that video that was posted in this thread, it would never happen in a WWE arena. All be it these guys do a GREAT job where they are now, but they are too small for what Vince is looking for. I hate to say it because I think Danielson is a genius in the ring as well but no matter what happens, he will never be a BIG star in the WWE. Just my opinion. |

I think he will come back on raw as Bret's replacement against miz

I'm not saying WWE wouldn't go back on it, because they would, because they're WWE, but still. |

Suppose that Miz has the Dynasty banned from ringside then Danielsson would be open to do a run-in and save Bret from getting his ass handed to him i'd say that's very probable.

Piss off, shitskull. |
I think it'd be pretty ridiculous if one of the first wrestlers eliminated from NXT started winning Championships before the competition was even over.
Meanwhile I doubt even the winner of NXT will be at US title caliber after they win the entire competition, let alone the week after they get eliminated. |

I agree that waiting to re-debut Bryan Danielson isn't the way to go. It's kind of cool they're going to try and "smarket" him off, if you will. Mentioning "independents," "YouTube," etc. isn't the way the WWE usually goes about things. They actually want to get this guy over based on what he has done outside of the WWE.
That it was Danielson himself that asked to go down to developmental makes me think that they will possibly re-introduce him as early as next week (or shortly thereafter). While not "probable" as someone suggested, I do not think that the scenario suggested with The Hart Dynasty being barred from ringside, so Danielson makes his presence felt in Bret Hart's favour during the US Title Match is too outlandish. Danielson has ties to The Miz, people hate The Miz, Canada loves Bret, they are a smarky city -- I think it would go over really well. Especially if Danielson then beat the crap out of The Miz after the match and put him in the Cattle Mutilation, or something. Then Danielson can pick up singles wins over Chris Jericho and The Miz while they are doing their tag service against The Hart Dynasty, and AmDrag can look like a credible threat on RAW. I'm not saying they will or should put the WWE Title on him ASAP, but they obviously want to use him as something more than a jobber. |
