Apparently, WWE doesn't inform their performers of important angles
From Bret's Facebook:
And even prior to that, I was in Richmond, Virginia doing Raw and watching Hart history being made as the Hart Dynasty won the Unified Tag Team titles against ShowMiz after beating them the night before in Baltimore, Maryland at the Extreme Rules PPV; seeing how truly proud they all were to live out a lifelong dream right there in front of their uncle and a crowd going nuts. Sometimes I can barely remember this stuff. Being stuck in Europe, the volcanic ash, Joe Legend, Monday Night Raw in London, touring both Smackdown and Raw, and before that, WrestleMania 26. Did all that stuff really happen? What an adventure. Life is good. My son, Blade just told me I've got a US title shot next week in Toronto. News to me. The Hartbeat goes on. |

lol, that's funny.

This actually lends credence to the assumption that they have someone else lined up to actually wrestle. I'd imagine that Bret would have to be informed in advance if he was actually going to get in the ring again.
|
The Excellence Of Execution needs not to know anything other than where the folding chairs are stored.
|
I will laugh at all of you if it's Daniel Bryan! :p
|
Imagine if Bret cut a promo that led into this music, and man, coming out:
SPOILER: show Would be a mindfuck. |
So either they didn't tell him he had a match or they had no intention of him being involved.
Not sure which is better. |
Seriously, who names their kid Blade?
|
The Harts and the Braxtons.

It'd be cooler if it was El Dandy replacing Bret

I would love it to be Danielson, but then that would take away from the while NXT concept.

Damn, I figured they keep most of the stars informed... He's probably losing due to DQ or something because he doesn't know/wasn't informed.

...you people think that BRET HART wouldn't know what's up with his character, what he's going to do, what's going to happen, etc? You think that BRET HART would really be "surprised" about being put in a match?
...we're talking about "MR MONTREAL SCREWJOB"...i'm sure his contract states EVERYTHING that will happen with his character...if there is a wrestler who KNOWS where he's headed, it's Bret Hart...HE'LL MAKE SURE OF THAT. |
Well that certainly puts my mind at ease.
|
anything involving the miz is nowhere near important.
|
Depends if Bret's son reads the internets.
|
Welcome to our newest member, Blade Hart

Having HBK return now would be fucking awful and would totally piss on the awesome send off he had.

I think it will be Danielson, fuck the concept he should be the one. Maybe he loses to Miz, maybe not, who knows, who cares, it would rule ass.
|
I would not have him show up instead of Bret on Monday... I don't care how smarky Canada is, replacing Bret, or a fellow Hart member (Kidd or Smith), with Danielson, is just a bad, bad idea.

Let's face it, after squashing the Montreal Screwjob I wouldn't put it pass the WWE to go with original storyline of that match with Bret winning and then just going off about how proud he is to be Canadian, and how proud he is of the WWE and then giving it up leaving vacant like the IC title, then having a tournament to crown the next champion.

That's reaching, but by WWE reasoning, it makes sense. |

It actually made me feel quite happy to read that first post. Seems like Bret has really "healed"
