I've spoken to MMM and he doesn't want to run his league this year. I am happy to do it, but if someone else wants to be commish then feel free to put yourself forward.

I signed in Sunday.... auto-drafted to a league by Monday..... I got Drew Brees and I am fucking ecstatic about my team.....

I've always hated how Yahoo's default settings call for 3 WR spots instead of having a Flex position. Means you pretty much have to get a WR within your first 2 picks. Kinda just went with a "see what sticks" approach with the #2 RB spot, Forte might end up being a steal at least. Dude was a Top 5 pick in most drafts last year.</font>

I think I did a pretty decent job of preranking for the draft that happened today. I noticed that aside from Chris Johnson and Adrian Peterson, no RB scored as much points as the top couple QBs did last year so I didnt even bother blowing 50+ bucks on 1 RB when I ended up with 2 QBs that outscored all the other RBs last year and I got a decent RB for $9 in Ricky Williams.

well it makessense to draft one elite qb, but to waste you pick and apparently money on two when one is only going to ever sit on you bench outside of a bye week is kind of dumb...

My two QBs combined cost less than 1/2 of what the top couple of RBs went for and each of my QB's (Schaub $17 and Rivers $15) outscored all RBs except Chris Johnson in fantasy points last year. I noticed when I was setting up prerankings that the league scoring is slanted in favor of QBs, so it didn't make any sense to me to go crazy and spend $60+ on 1 RB when I could get a QB that would provide just as many points for 1/4 of the cost, which is also how I ended up loaded with WRs who I am attempting to trade for another RB...but anyway.

If you take a look at the points last year, the only RB over 300 points was Chris Johnson, but there were 9 QBs over 300 points. and Johnson was outscored by Aaron Rodgers but CJ went for $69 whereas Rodgers only went for $31.

But the point isn't to make out spending your money most efficiently, its to draft players that will score points. If you are happy with making solid buys, great. People make out just fine spending lots of money on picks too.

Not to mention, fantasy teams are usually made on the waiver wire much more than through the draft.

I hope the iPhone app is better than last year. Found no use for it at all.

Yeah, you were totally on with that one. Had like 5 people tell me the Ravens were a sure thing, but I was skeptical because of what they've done so far this season, and almost played the Dolphins cause I think they could be an upset for the Jets. Instead, I got a whopping 3 points from the Ravens, to make their grand total for this season to 13. Benching them next week, because I trust the Dolphins against NE more than Ravens against anyone at this point. Especially against the Steelers.

Somebody give me some advice. Should I start Knowshown Moreno, who has missed 3 straight games and is questionable today? Or start BenJarvus Green-Ellis who scored in 2 straight? Green-Ellis plays at 1:00 and Moreno at 4:00 so I dunno if I can wait around for them to declare Moreno active.

I would say that you dont wanna start BGE vs the Ravens but I dont think Moreno is playing, so you are probably going to be forced into it.

Ravens average giving up 100+ yards a game but shut down Denver last week. Dunno how consistent Bmore's D will be.

They shut down Denver cause Denver is pass happy and doesnt run the ball anymore. Which is exactly the same thing that New England is doing.
