Movies you cried watching

See title:

Schindler's List
Stand By Me
ET (when I was 4)
Up!
The Notebook
etc.

I'll let you decide if it was just watery-eyes or full-on sobbing.

LoDownM 06-18-2010 03:24 PM

Anyone who didn't cry(and was a Transformers fan) when they watched the Transformers movie in the 80s when Optimus died is a liar.

You know it. Thought I'd make my first one a statement for the ages. I shall now go have a pillow fight and adopt a kitten.

Cheers!

thedamndest 06-19-2010 07:57 PM

Did you read the forum rules about bullying, CSL?

Cool King 06-19-2010 07:59 PM

There are forum rules?

Exyle 06-19-2010 10:26 PM

Probably more than I can remember off the top of my head. Add another one for Up, though. That's definitely the most recent.

Almost cried watching "Henry Poole is Here" starring Luke Wilson.

Sixx 07-02-2010 05:32 PM

The closest I ever got to crying was the ending of Terminator 2.

Exactly. I've had so many dreams that my dad was still alive and it felt so real to me. When Jack finally meets up with his dad again he said the exact same thing that I had in my dreams. I'm fucking bawling watching this part.

Also, Simon Birch.

Another original Twilight sucks post. I had to double check this wasn't a Fallen Angel post tbh..... :p

Schlomey 07-05-2010 01:25 PM

Lost isn't a movie so I'll name Deadliest Catch Season 6 the 2 most recent episodes have done it for me.

Mooияakeя™ 07-05-2010 01:32 PM

Philadelphia makes my mom cry always.

I randomly welled up at Passion of the Christ. Could be many reasons, but it was the part they were whipping him towards the middle of it. Even when my girlfriend at the time asked why I was crying I didn't know and I still don't know now.

Michael Jacksons Thriller shit me up when I was a kid and so did Poltergeist. So I cried at them for scaring reasons and due to age.

Swiss Ultimate 07-05-2010 02:06 PM

It's called empathy Moonie. Hey, can you make me a "More Human than Human" inspired theme-song?

Mooияakeя™ 07-05-2010 02:09 PM

I am working on getting the list done then re-posting in that thread when done.

Explain, "more human that human".

Malfeitor 07-09-2010 11:25 PM

The Last Samurai always gets to me.

Fignuts 07-10-2010 01:37 AM

dunno i think All Dogs Go to Heaven when i was a kid. I have a heart of stone and only care about myself so i dont cry at movies.

El Capitano Gatisto 07-10-2010 11:59 AM

The end of Lilya-4-ever had me in emotional pieces. Also felt myself well up in a bit watching Hotel Rwanda and Shooting Dogs at some points.

Swiss Ultimate 07-10-2010 12:03 PM

I think I'll check out Lilya-4-ever, Hotel Rwanda was a tear jerk for sure. Never seen Shooting Dogs.

Aguakate 07-10-2010 10:36 PM

A Perfect world, when I saw it as a kid.

My Final Heaven 07-11-2010 03:17 AM

The Last Temptation of Christ - At the end, Jesus is up on the cross & he has a vision of what his life would've been like if he was born a normal person. The disciples appear to him as old men & question him about why he forgot his mission - Yeah, that got to me years ago.

Braveheart - not the whole "FREEEEEEEDOOOOOOOOMMM" thing but the very end when the Scottish are running down the hill into thier last battle, with the voiceover narration.

2 that sprung to mind right away.

bunch of girls started sobbing in the cinema at the end of lilya 4-ever, i am always pretty numb to sad endings though. i cried at it's a wonderful life's ending :'(

didn't cry at the end of irreversible but felt kind of dead inside.

El Capitano Gatisto 07-11-2010 07:59 AM

Irreversible was too ridiculous to get very upset about. It was stomach-churning and uncomfortable more than really upsetting.

Thats the one where Monica Belluci gets raped in the subway, right?

El Capitano Gatisto 07-11-2010 03:18 PM

That's the one. Just a grubby film.

Hanso Amore 07-12-2010 12:28 AM

Yeha....that thing fucked with my head. If you cry in that film, you have wires crossed in your brain. Its like crying during Antichrist
