I saw Wizard of Oz was on the other day...and I can somehow see the GM being revealed similarly. Not necessarily with a dog finding the GM behind a curtain, but something similar.

Whoever the GM winds up being, I hope its long term.

I don't know, if it wound up being Hornswoggle I'd hope it isn't long term.

Let's just hope the GM doesn't fail a wellness test.

It does. It's either a wrestler (Hunter, Danielson), so it'll lead into a storyline, or it's a guy whose going to be a focal point in every RAW and some storylines. Either way, it's important.

plus the only way a gm is ever an effective character is if its a heel. for example Eric Bischoff was a great GM

I actually think it would be great if it were JBL. We haven't heard anything from him in a long time and I think enough time has passed where he would get a good reaction. Not sure whether it would be a face or heel reaction, but I know it wouldn't be get off my TV reaction.

Foley worked, but he's right. The authority in power almost always works best as a heel now.
