At least it's better than the likes of Bleed It Out most out that album is other shit compared two the previous two and even Meteora sometimes sounded like they were ripping themselves off.

Well that is just clearly awful.

Catalyst is pretty good. Wretches And Kings...well, not sure on that one.

Still deciding on liking it or not. Gave it a few listens.

Same. Only problem with The Catalyst was that I was waiting for it to explode into a massive chorus and it never quite does. Feels like all build up.

Now that you say that I hear it, but it's a style I'm familiar with (from certain games).

Wretched' sounds kinda thrown together. The left field Jamaican act is both an oddity and a saving grace.

Don't mind the 2nd track as much it sounds more like their old stuff which isn't a bad thing but lyrically i'd say it's worse than Catalyst might as well face the fact that their already way past their prime.

I like how The Catalyst sounds different than their previous works.

Well 'Minutes was different from their old stuff. I can't nail what they're going for with the two tracks released so far. Would love to give the album a listen.

Second full listen. The two tracks I initially didn't are 'clicking' for me now. I knew that was just the LP Effect of initially disliking a Linkin Park track before it grows on me later (other people described this feeling with LP).

Love it, but I wonder how these tracks will do live.

Would honestly rather listen to dragonforce, than hear this album again.

So would Kal, but he can only spend so much time listening to men with tiny penises shredding.

Honestly not even sure why I bothered giving this a listen. Not a fan.

As I say in every thread about Linkin Park, I prefer Fort Minor. Mike Shinoda is the only thing I ever enjoyed about LP.

Some of you people are just negative about EVERYTHING. Been noticing that alot lately on TPWW. Having a Kane Knight virus going around.

Haven't seen anyone complain about it because of that. People have just said it is shit, regardless of their old music.

But mentally, they are comparing. This album is too good for people to call it "shit". C'mon, the Ke$ha album is shit, Huey's rap album was shit, etc. First the wrestling forum, now it's spilling into the music forum :roll:

Quit acting like there's some conspiracy against things you like. I would not enjoy these songs regardless of who made them. I don't care if it has Linkin Park on the cover. They are just not good songs. They have no soul. They are lifeless songs with no emotion, and very poor musicianship. There are no redeeming factors about the songs, and they made me not want to listen to the album in its entirety because I have a feeling the rest of it will be no different.

I have not listened to any of these songs and can say with supreme (ice cream olajuwon) confidence that they are absolutely horrible.

Yeah come on Vegas. LP has been one of my fave bands since Hybrid Theory, but this album just ain't that good.

not to perpetuate vegas' "you're being negative for the sake of being negative" theory but really, linkin park are little more than an indeterminate stain in the bottom corner of the shittiest page in the book of music history.

I was a fan of these guys, but yeah I can barely listen to this album. Tried to listen to a few songs, and couldnt even make it all the way through. Rather hear Dead by Sunrise instead.

I don't specifically know if KK would like this album, the second part was more a joke. The first part I stand by. I've seen too much posturing over 'big acts' whenever they release a new album and it doesn't sound the old.

Jay Z covered this in a single lyric.
