This kinda pisses me off. She was pretty and could actually wrestle. Like another poster said, AJ Lee is pretty with wrestling skills as well and those two along with Melina and Natalya could have actually brought some credibility to the women's division.

What's really fucked up is TNA is being run by that ass clown Hogan and Eric Bischoff so she probably won't get the chance she deserves in TNA since they're all about pushing the tits and ass combo of Angelina Love, Madison Rayne, and Velvet Sky... not that I'm complaining but DAMN!

This is really disappointing I thought she could have had huge potential down the line and she was still pretty to boot despite her head being shaved that says a lot especially coming from a guy like me. Maybe this could be stretch but look how quickly they rehired Danielsson after he was released sure he's a much bigger name but it's still possible they may bring her back later. It's pretty lame to think she's gone yet there was nothing done to Tiffany but then again she is McIntyre's wife to be so they wanna keep him happy since the WWE thinks he's such a hot commodity.

WWE still has yet to break the news on their website. Hopefully that is a sign that this might just be a rumor.

Either that, or I was just thinking...has SD already been recorded this week? Maybe they don't want to officially release someone who will still appear on TV?

Actually, I just did a quick search online and it seems the spoilers are up, and Serena appears. I think the WWE taped two weeks of shows, as they just went on an overseas tour.

Yeah, they're waiting for SmackDown! to air to announce it.

So it'll hit the WWE site by late Friday/early Saturday I'm sure. Unless of course Styles says fuck you Vince and posts it early.

I have huge doubts that it has to do with "living the gimmick". Obviously it depends on what she did, but if she was making scenes or acting in a manner that made the company she was representing look bad I don't have a problem with the release.

Dinsmore created that gimmick himself.

I would usually agree with this, but when Mickie got fired, it was announced on WWE.com before her final SD appearance. Unless they are actually deciding to wait this time.

Something that I find pretty interesting is that the only way 99% of fans would have heard about this (and thus bringing "bad pub" to the company) is by taking action and releasing her. Kind of defeats some of the purpose of the firing.

I understand the company has to "set an example" and such, but from a strictly PR standpoint, I doubt this helps.

Well, two things.

1. I'm sure that now when he's in the airport, he doesn't have to act special. Unlike back in the WWE.

2. He's full on Red Rooster by now. He literally CANNOT play any other role. He will ALWAYS be seen as Eugene. Just like how Terry Taylor will ALWAYS be seen as the Red Rooster.

If WWE fired her because she broke kayfabe and wasn't playing "straight edge" it's bullshit considering they've virtually destroyed that aspect of the query.

Just about everybody who gets released from WWE carries their gimmick into the indies unless they were already fairly well known before going there.</font>

He could come out on Impact,acting like U-gene, then switch suddenly and beat the brakes off of someone, grab the mic and say "Who's retarded now?" Drop the mic gangsta style and walk off. Have him keep doing this week after week and build him as a heel shoot style wrestler like he was in OVW. I think it would work.

Serena's sudden release from World Wrestling Entertainment is being compared to Mickie James' dismissal from the organization earlier this year as both involved matters concerning behavioral problems on the road.

Serena had been warned several times by management to tighten up her road behavior as she was putting her job at risk. It ultimately reached a point where WWE had no choice but to let her go, just as a big push was planned no less.

It is said that the episode of SmackDown in which Serena was caught drinking alcohol at a bar was designed to send a message to her over her partying habits. An irate CM Punk immediately chastised her following the airing of the video, but she was forgiven the following week. Luke Gallows, however, refused to follow suit and walked out on his fellow Straight Edge Society members.

News of her departure is being kept under wraps internally, but an announcement is expected to be made this weekend.

that being said, i think it's safe to say that she wasn't released solely because she wasn't living out her character in real life. the released cited "behavioral issues" as being the reason she was released. i'm sure that WWE would prefer if she would be totally straight edge off camera, but i don't think they would release her for that. for going on black out drunk tirades, or something of that nature, is another story so i'd be quicker to assume that that was the case rather than her release being because she didn't live out her character.
