If it is a new talent, they need to announce it long before then and hold it off until BFG. I can't imagine what else it could be that would even remotely live up to the hype.

The jock strap would be carried to a decent match by Jay Lethal at a PPV. Lethal would go over clean and then not be seen on t.v. again for another 3 weeks.

We are pulling the strings.

They hired local comedians from the Open Night at the local bar to do a local comedy segment each week. So instead of promo's by werestlers (nah, I misspelled on purpose here) these clowns will enact feuds each time. It's also a supposed counter to Santino's Bunch.

TNA's better off keeping the jock strap. It's got more talent than Cena and a tad more versatile in facial expressions than Orton. Plus they can pair it with Foley's sock and dub it the "Jock and Sock Connection." They can feud with "Fourtune + 2 featuring Ric Flair."

I've almost got a reverse cry-wolf syndrome with this. I am intrigued because they always promise so much that they are overdue to come through with something cool eventually, right? I still think that it will be something to do with their programming -- a new show, PPV being scrapped and replaced with free specials, etc. A talent hyped this big is only going to be a let-down. Unless it was Brock Lesnar, The Rock or Steve Austin full-time. Yeah, that's not going to happen.

I don't know if it's this but yesterday Kurt Angle said on twitter that he's signed a 1 year deal with TNA.

TNA Impact will be live on October 7th and for the first time, Reaction will be live as well, giving TNA three hours of live television that night. Hulk Hogan is being billed that night, along with TNA, as "setting the stage for Bound for Glory 2010." For more information about that show, head over to TNAWrestling.com.

This is also the night Dixie Carter will reveal the big changes she has been talking about for TNA, although she has seemed to back off of just how big the changes will be. This could be a big night for TNA, so hopefully it lives up to all of the hype.
