No I'm not talking about Taker getting beaten by Kane I'm talking about Y2J Chris Jericho being done with WWE atleast for the time being. If this turns out to be true I may actually cry :'( so what's you guys thoughts on this?

i know its been a couple years but honestly it feels like he was JUST gone. Gutted again.

That is exactly how I feel. Sad day. Hopefully he will consider making a return someday..if he really is gone for good that is.

i knew something was up when they put a spotlight on him after he was eliminated..they dont usually do that.

is he still negotiating? or its a done deal he is gone.....will probably find out in the upcoming days

He'll be back, and when he does come back he'll probably be a face again and make a title run.

i also think undertaker is leaving as well...he may be done some time next yr, just a gut feeling.

the wwe landscape is definitely changing and the remnants of the attitude era are being slowly being eradicated.

I've said this a million times now, but what the hell; I'll explain it again for my fellow Jericho-holics.

1.) As Jericho came to the ring, Cole said - and please excuse the irony - and I quote:
"A man who reneged on his promise to leave the WWE if he lost this match."

2.) NOT ONCE did they mention the whole retirement thing since Jericho lost to Morrison two weeks ago on Raw.

Of course, I could be wrong on my interpretation of this stuff, as the WWE has been known to let certain things unintentionally slide before, but I hope I'm not. Regardless, we'll find out tomorrow night on RAW.

PWInsider is saying he's gone, and they are usually reliable. Of course, in this case I hope that they are filthy liars.

they mentioned him leaving for good tonight at the PPV during the match.

I hope they screwed up their reports on this one.

Well won't he at least appear on Raw to say farewell?

Jericho is very internet savvy. I would HOPE that he is using this (with WWE) as a way of fucking with dirtsheets and the IWC.

If he is gone for awhile it will seriously take another great heel out of wwe and that is damn shame. Jericho is one of the best heels ever and we may never see another on AGAIN.

If Jerichos done for awhile, it's a huge loss for WWE, bigger loss for Inno.

I love Chris Jericho. I hope he's not gone. There is a lot he can still benefit from the WWE, and he seemed like he was having a ball. Despite being an amazing heel, it's got to feel good having the fans cheering for you out of pure respect. There's a lot that can be arranged for Jericho at WrestleMania, or something of the like. He's such an important part of the WWE these days that I hope that deals are still ongoing and such.

This is probably true. He may not be gone forever gone, but it wouldn't surprise me if the WWE did this "just in case" as no deal is lined up.

What I wouldn't have given to have seen a full-blown program between Jericho and John Morrison, though. He really could have been the guy to make him a star.

He'll probably take the fall off, push his book out (apparently it's better than his 1st), continue being awesome, then return.

I think he'll take a month or two off, in order to play hardball for his new contract..... I imagine he'll want an "Undertaker contract" where he gets a certain number of house shows off, so he can partake in other interests (Fozzy, releasing his book, movies, etc.)

His tweet makes me think there is something huge for him tonight. He, with Edge's help, might just reveal the GM and have a match against him at HIAC. Or is it just me wanting it to be true?

he wont be at raw tonight, he has been tweeting for around 2 weeks now that he has something going on in Calgary

Clark is a little hyperbolic in his assumption that Jericho is gone from WWE. It only says that this is his last scheduled appearance, meaning that his contract is now expired. He could re-sign tomorrow and not miss a beat.

I kind of hope this is all building up to an Undertaker vs. Jericho match at WrestleMania.

Jericho goes on this pathetic losing streak and needs to regain his confidence and prove to the world that he is the best in the world. And what better way to do that than to end the Undertaker's undefeated streak at WrestleMania? If this is the case, then I love the idea of a long build to the match.
