I got it used in the mail today. When I press an option in the main menu, it like freezes for a second then continues on. On the 360 it was instant. In the main multiplayer menu, I will hit private match, and it'll lock up. Have to reset the system. Right now, since posting this thread, it has been "Downloading Game Settings" since I hit the find game option.
The disc doesn't really have any scratches, so I dunno why it's doing this. I just want to play my favorite game in the whole wide world :( |
My buddy had CoD4 for PS3. He said it had problems like that. Needless to say, he got MW2 for 360. Why are you getting these for PSTriple, if I may inquire?

i wanted to do it because i couldn't get the new gh to load, so i figured something was out of date. i followed a guide to update it, i didn't do it from nintendo ;)
learned to back up my wii, so it's a win/win, although gh still doesn't work :foc: |

I prefer the Playstation controller, but have no issues switching between 360/PS3 controllers.

got a chance to try the controller out. not exactly perfect, but it does the job. feels just like a 360 controller, except the l2 and r2 triggers feel a little different. the start and select buttons really need to be pressed down, like all the way down for them to work. also there seems to be a little bit of a dead zone in the thumbsticks. example, on the 360 controller if you were to move it at all, it would move on screen. on this one you need to press it a little further for it to register. not too sure i like that.

Not to be a huge xbot or anything, but I was playing SSF4 at my buddies on his old style PS3. That fucking thing is loud. Is this a problem on the new slims?

Dunno, my PS3 is in the same spot as my 360, and the xbox always runs much smoother. Netflix in particular is pretty flaky on PS3.

Same. I always put that down to the 360 being wired and PS3 hooked up via wireless.
