Depending on my mood, my answer would alternate between The Wall, Zoolander, or Scott Pilgrim vs The World.

Nah not really, but Empire Strikes Back and Jaws are probably the movies I've loved the longest, and still two of my top favorites to this day.

Never got the point of people putting a list of million favourite/movies/books on their facebook/myspace. It's like, who gives a shit?

Triple Naitch 10-15-2010 10:11 AM

Don't think I could pick one. Pulp Fiction is definitely up there though. And Coming to America.

I just like to list them for myself I guess. Don't really care what anyone else thinks unless they want to see them, I am glad to share that. Sort of like the people who are reading this thread

Innovator 10-15-2010 04:56 PM

The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly

Innovator 10-15-2010 04:56 PM

For a Few Dollars More is up there too

whiteyford 10-15-2010 06:10 PM

Donnie Brasco or Battle Royale.

I like to browse em from time to time. For example, in college I used to be in a comedy troupe you had to audition to get in. So people who'd audition, I'd check out their stuff to get a feel for them. Do it with new friends/people I meet too. Get a sense if I would click with them based on those interests. Though listing a few is perfectly fine. I used to list a shit ton, but got it down to about 5 in each category I think.

I have to go with American Beauty, just an incredible movie all around. Lester Burnham is one of the best characters in cinema history in my opinion of course.

Ghostbusters. Of course.

parkmania 10-17-2010 11:23 PM

Depends on my mood:

Monty Python and the Quest for the Holy Grail, Talk Radio, Pump Up the Volume, or Lord of the Rings trilogy.

DaveBrawl 10-17-2010 11:30 PM

Die Hard and Bloodsport are at the top or near it, but I always end up forgetting a movie in topics like this. First Blood, The Dark Knight and Iron Man are also near the top.

terminator or terminator 2. i feel like they are massively underappreciated by people who really love films and just dismissed as action films or something.

Jeritron 10-20-2010 12:21 AM

I think they get plenty of praise as films man. They're very critically acclaimed. AFI places the movies and characters on alltime lists very often.

Everybody I know that loves movies really thinks they're great. At least part 2.

Sixx 10-20-2010 05:11 AM

Part 2 is my favourite movie ever.

It's amazing how special effects in a 1991 movie look a lot better than in most of today's movies.
