Less wrestling then I'd hoped for.The main event was awesome.Abyss and Joe was good for a tv match.The promos have been really good tonight.Even Jarrett doesn't seem to be overacting as per usual. The Pope will get the Guns to help.Awesomeness will insue. I think they fucked up by having Fortune with them,but this way they can get a lot of people in the storyline.I guess "Immortal" is the name of this and I dig it. Jeff Hardy's new character is a hit.He can still talk his crazy 'Jeff Hardy Speak"but darker.He said he was The New Antichrist of pro wrestling(Pretty badass). A.k.a. the complete opposite of Supercena. Jwoww's hot....Impact gets a 7 out of 10.

pretty good show, i think the missed a trick by not having guys like aj styles and beer money being on the TNA side, since they have been there from day one, but then again i guess that would be predictable, i will give this angle a chance see where it pans out.

They definitely need to handle this storyline with care, this is a make or break deal for TNA, yes they went for the NWO route, but a bit different , its like immortal has taken control of the company already and the good guys need to take back what is theirs. They basically revered roles.

For the main reason of creating more employment and giving wrestlers an alternative option to WWE, TNA please for god's sake don't fuck this up.

So i just got done watching TNA this off of my DVR and let me just say this OMFG TNA seriously you are coming one of your biggest ppvs of the year. And you have a show like that all i can say is WOW TNA what a way to drop the ball big time. I mean seriously i know your trying to build up the THEY storyline but was 1 hour and 50 mins of t.v. time really necessary. The reason i watch TNA is b/c of wrestling they produced and the talent they have on their roster and i only get 10 mins of wrestling WTF. I see Tara lay down for Madison Rayne and she runs around like she just had a 15-20 min match with her and that's really sad b/c Tara/Victoria is one of my favorite female wrestlers. Then i see Joe/Abyss go two mins REALLY. And finally i see Pope get killed by Fortune and in all honesty weren't you guys building him a couple months ago and didn't he face off against A.J. Styles back in April at LockDown for the Title so i don't get it TNA all i can say is REALLY TNA REALLY. Oh btw TNA Jeff Hardy as a Heel is not gonna work out i guarantee it. Like It Or Not The AfterShock has spoken

Accidentally stumbled on Impact last night since nothing was on. Came in during the Angle/Jarrett stuff and thought it was great. Didn't think the Jeff Hardy/RVD stuff later on was all that great.

Jeff calling himself the antichrist of professional wrestling is kind of hilarious. I thought one needed charisma to be considered the antichrist.

I've gave this alot of thought, but I got a feeling Hardy is going to break away from Immortal and start his own stable with Matt. Him saying on Impact that some people call him the new anti-christ of wrestling got me thinking that TNA is going to make another stable since they're on a roll of 1-2 new ones a month.

There might be something bigger at work than the swerve. I noticed when Jeff spoke in both the in ring and pre-recorded directed at Angle that his delivery, mannerisms, and style of dress was less crazy Jefflike and a little more... Raven-esque? Especially the "You say you want me Kurt... don't they all?" And the whole "Anti-Christ of Professonal Wrestling"? Just add a "Quote the Raven, nevermore." I really expected him to slump in the corner after the live bit about Immortal and living forever. There are truly worse people he could mold himself after. More practice, and he could pull off the heartless, self-absorbed, apathetic degenerate (yes, I realize I left that open for a joke about his personal issues) with much success and many a fangirl hearts a-breaking.

Now think about the TNA agents and the EV2.0 guys. Not so much the in-ring stuff, but the fact that, backstage, they have guys like Al Snow, Raven, and Richards. Not saying they're heading up creative or anything, but they might be doing some coaching...?

What? An actual far-reaching plan (albeit backstage plan) by TNA? Maybe I'm giving TNA too much credit. Time will tell.

I agree with most of it about Raven-esque thing. I even told my brother this. But when you say "There are truly worse people he could mold himself after." Raven is one of the best promo guys I've ever seen. You make him sound as if he sucked on the mic or something (Raven).

Wasn't Jeff Jarretts turning heel more because after the whole Karen Angle thing he was sort of pushed to the side in TNA on the buisness and kind of shunned then Dixie took over more than usual.

Yeah, I believe that was the motive, more or less.

And that will lead to a Jarrett vs Kurt Angle feud which should be good.

Raven is one of the best minds in the business, especially in promos, and if it'll help Jeff get better talking on the mic and get over in other ways than taking his shirt off mid-match for the screaming 12 year old cheerleaders who touch themselves to his photo at night or being a spot monkey, all power to it.
