LAKE SHOW

SammyG 10-26-2010 04:22 AM

Oh yay, this boring 82 game thing is starting until the real shit starts. Oh well, time to get that number 1 seed again.

Jeritron 10-26-2010 04:23 AM

It's nice to see that you enjoy the sport

SammyG 10-26-2010 04:24 AM

Just trying to be an arrogant Laker fan. You know I love this shit.

Jeritron 10-26-2010 04:27 AM

Who are you rooting for in the Celtics Heat game?

Juan 10-26-2010 04:44 AM

I hate to say this, as a Laker fan, but I hope the Heat get schooled.

Jeritron 10-26-2010 04:48 AM

Gotta love that even Laker fans are backing The Celts. I feel like just about everyone that isn't from Miami or an ESPN zombie douchebag is.

SammyG 10-26-2010 04:48 AM

Cheering for Boston. Yup. Fuck Miami.

Juan 10-26-2010 05:02 AM

cue Narc

RP 10-26-2010 09:47 AM

RoXer 10-26-2010 09:09 PM

Damn, thought that this started at 5

Supreme Olajuwon 10-26-2010 09:11 PM

So what's the Heat Index on 9 points in the first quarter?

Emperor Smeat 10-26-2010 09:17 PM

Celtics shutting down the Wade side of the Heat attack (left side) soo much that the Heat can't do anything even though they keep trying.

Jeritron 10-26-2010 09:17 PM

Lots of 1 on 1 basketball from Miami

Joey Slugs 10-26-2010 09:24 PM

So far, so good.

Jeritron 10-26-2010 09:26 PM

Miami has absolutely no chemistry here whatsoever. Not saying they will be a terrible team forever, but they just aren't comfortable together at all. They are playing like many who actually know basketball suspected. Just a couple of superstars and a thrown together bench playing on their own. 1 on 1 bullshit and nothing more.

McLegend 10-26-2010 09:31 PM

I just want to throw it out there... I like Lebron's new commercial.

Also no way I cheer for The Celtics under any circumstances.

Jeritron 10-26-2010 09:32 PM

Did these guys practice, or were they just busy daydreaming about how good they were gonna be? Feels like they've never even shot around together

Loose Cannon 10-26-2010 09:32 PM

^yep, honestly, I expected this early on. They are prob going to lose a few games early because of the chemistry. It won't get there until 10-15 games in. Maybe more. They are just off right now.

Loose Cannon 10-26-2010 09:33 PM

that was to your chemistry post Jeri

Joey Slugs 10-26-2010 09:43 PM

Up by 15 at the half. Miami looks like shit. Love it.

OssMan 10-26-2010 09:47 PM

Are the Heat serious right now

Juan 10-26-2010 10:21 PM

lol "bullshit" chants

Juan 10-26-2010 10:59 PM

lol "overrated" chants

McLegend 10-26-2010 11:01 PM

It's going to be 82 games of this.

I loveeeee it.

Juan 10-26-2010 11:16 PM

I kind of want to punch Ray Allen's mom every time I see her jumping up and down.

The Call was bullshit. The ref wasn't even in the right spot to call that charge.

They are overrated. I guess it was too early to anoint the heat the champions of the East.

Juan 10-26-2010 11:20 PM

Rondo - 17 assists
Heat - 15 assists

That's just wrong.

Juan 10-26-2010 11:24 PM

Don't worry, I won't.

Emperor Smeat 10-26-2010 11:24 PM

Heat only got close when Lebron had to go into ball hog mode and do all the work he hoped to have avoided by moving to Miami.

3rd year in a row Lebron looses the opener to the Celtics (L at Boston, L at Cleveland, L at Boston)

Loose Cannon 10-26-2010 11:36 PM

ball hog mode Lebron is pretty fun to watch

alvarado52 10-27-2010 12:33 AM

lol, Budinger.

OssMan 10-27-2010 12:38 AM

Heat will go undefeated

Hedo Turoglu is responsible for every point in this 9-0 run by the Blazers

Droford 10-27-2010 01:41 AM

Steve Blake! HAHA

Figured the Lakers would make it game late..

Juan 10-27-2010 02:09 AM

lol yes

Juan 10-27-2010 02:19 AM

Jesus

alvarado52 10-27-2010 02:29 AM

Not the defense i would have liked, but a W is a W.

Juan 10-27-2010 02:29 AM

I'll take it

SammyG 10-27-2010 02:46 AM

steve bLAAAAAKKEE SSSHOOOOWWW!!

Anyway, on the real. When the hell did Shannon Brown develop such a great shot? I love it. We need Drew back badly, defensively and offensively. Theo Ratliff is fucking terrible. Kobe looked better as the game went on which is encouraging. Really exciting first game, but our defense needs to improve tremendously.

Great night, the douchebag Heat lost and the Lake Show won.

Skippord 10-27-2010 03:13 AM

Too bad the jail bird Nuggets didn't play tonight on TNT or else we'd have a trifecta of douche bags

Jeritron 10-27-2010 05:37 AM

Let's calm down. There are plenty of douchebags to go around the NBA. We can all just root for our squad of douchebags to beat the other squads of douchebags. That's what NBA Basketball is in the new millenium.

Innovator 10-27-2010 08:18 AM

If anyone wants to see the Nets, they're tickets on StubHub for 39 cents.

Splaya 10-27-2010 11:55 AM

I love how the Heat were embarassed. But a lot of this had to come from Wade not being able to play much of the preseason. This will all change though, once they begin to form chemistry together.

SammyG 10-27-2010 06:22 PM

Huge Sixers fan tonight

Supreme Olajuwon 10-28-2010 02:20 AM

I kept telling you guys Luis Scola is good for 30 points and 15 boards a night. You never listen.

Juan 10-28-2010 02:24 AM

Yeah, he averaged like 27 points in the FIBA Championships; the most out of all the players in the tourney.

Still can't stand him tho

Emperor Smeat 10-29-2010 07:46 PM

Add beating up teammates to the long list of stupid things Delonte West has done as a player.

Beat up a teammate during a 3-on-3 scrimmage and the whole team wants him gone even before his 10 game suspension is up but Ainge wants to see if he's trade-able instead of a pure release.

DaveWadding 10-30-2010 03:43 AM

The Suns are who I thought they were.

They can do a decent job of containing Kobe (relatively), have no one big and bad enough to handle Gasol (honestly I thought Gentry should have given 7' 200 lb Garrett Siler a shot...couldnt hurt), and have no one with the skill set (big long strong fast) to stop a motivated Odom-Kardashian (anymore anyways, and they always stuck Matrix on Kobe. meh) Pretty much the same story it's always been with the Paussy Mambas.

and of course if you live by the 3, you die by the 3. *coughJ-RICHcough*

SammyG 10-30-2010 05:27 AM

Another win over the Suns.. boooooooooooooring.

The Genius 10-30-2010 06:17 AM

warriors 2-0. i can easily see them contending for the 8 seed this year.

SammyG 10-30-2010 10:38 PM

Wait til' tomorrow.

Droford 10-31-2010 12:19 AM

John Wall! 28 pts 9 assists.. but the Wizards lost.

Al Thornton looked good too, but its a shame they've got to start Kirk Hinrich and Javale McGee..ugh..and they've got no bench at all right now with injuries..

OssMan 10-31-2010 02:35 AM

Reggie Miller's lookin good

OssMan 10-31-2010 02:36 AM

Pacers are leading the Central Division. Lets start the playoffs today!

SammyG 11-01-2010 04:52 PM

Lakers bench have been named the Renegades or the Killer B's.

Interesting. They are meshing really well together, loving the Steve Blake pickup, way better fit than Jordy was.

OssMan 11-02-2010 04:41 PM

About to go to that WIZARDS HOME OPENER

That Kings/Raptors game last night was pretty great

SammyG 11-02-2010 10:07 PM

Lakers Kings on ESPN tomorrow. It's a good thing Bynum is out for the Grizz game tonight, since he always gets hurt against them anyway.

Droford 11-02-2010 10:35 PM

john wall 2 steals short of a triple double 21 pts 11 assists 8 steals but the Wiz are down 3 with 16 seconds left

holy crap..the Wiz force OT

If Wall could get 2 more steals in OT he'd be the 2nd youngest player behind Lebron to get a Triple Double (Lebron did it 20 years 20 days and Wall is like 20 years and 2 months)

McLegend 11-02-2010 10:47 PM

Motherfucker

Droford 11-02-2010 10:54 PM

John Wall steal #9! (ties Wizards Record for steals)

I might have to get me a John Wall jersey

Wall has 31 assists which ties the most ever for a rookie in their first 3 games.

Wizards win 116-115! No Triple Double for Wall but he finished with 29/13/9

McLegend 11-02-2010 11:27 PM

The Sixers are so gay.

OssMan 11-03-2010 12:29 AM

SammyG 11-03-2010 01:01 AM

God damn, John Wall. Do the dance baby.

Lakers with 73 at the half lololololol

OssMan 11-03-2010 01:21 AM

Please tell me other people saw the dance he did during his introduction. It was one of the funniest things I have ever seen.

SammyG 11-03-2010 01:24 AM

I watched like 2 seconds of it. Didn't he do the dougie, too?

Droford 11-03-2010 01:25 AM

and I didnt see any of the pregame stuff

Joey Slugs 11-04-2010 01:03 PM

Paul Pierce gets his 20,000th career point last night. 3rd all time in Celtics history.

Rondo has more assists through the first 5 games than anyone in NBA history.
