Like to see them release a "best of" dvd set for each of the main WCW PPVs.

Starcade, SuperBrawl, Spring Stampede, FallBrawl, etc...

Man, if they did this, or released at least Starrcade in the way they've released Mania, SummerSlam, etc I'd be all over it.

Also, I'd like to see a Best of War Games DVD.

What I wanna know is how in the world WWE will be able to bring out a 3 Disc Set on Goldberg. His career wasn't exactly LONG, FULL of highlights. I understand guys like Bret and HBK geting 3 Disc Sets, since they have been around for 15+ years, but Goldberg? Hmm.

now if they did a ddp dvd that would be good.

I guess they're primarily going to fill it with the documentary on him, clips of other people talking about him, etc. Like an A&E special, followed by some of his 'best matches'.

I hope they will make a proper 3-Disc nWo DVD instead of the old shitty one that just focuses on the WWE nWo.

We won't see an nWo DVD until at least Hogan is back with WWE.

I wonder if they will do the Nitro seasons and episodes where Bischoff gave away the results of RAW when Raws were taped.

You could end up watching the Nitro dvd first and then be "spoiled" on what occurred on the same season for the RAW dvd.

I'll bet half of the Goldberg DVD is his WWE run.

I bet the Goldberg DVD will have a really good documentary for the first disc, and then they can easily fill up two more discs with all of his longer matches. Hopefully they'll include his awesome matches against DDP at Halloween Havoc, Sting on Nitro and Scott Steiner in the "Rage in the Cage".

Has there ever been like a Dean Malenko or WCW cruiserweights DVD released? I'd buy those right away.

I'd give my left nut for a 12-disk, year-by-year PPV anthology.....

I'll buy the Goldberg one for nostalgic value. I was young back then and didn't understand as much about the business as I do now.

Was a real Mark for Goldberg once upon a time, loved the whole 'spectacle' of him.

I will watch the Goldberg DVD off DailyMotion. I bet they touch up on his match with William Regal, which was pretty good.

to be honest the documentary part of it is pretty disappointing, but the matched they show are pretty nice. especially the older ones with dusty/windham and such

There's a guy on ioffer that runs Heat Shock Studios. He's got all the WCW PPV Anthologies on DVD. I am curious on the quality though.

Booker T seriously needs a 3-Disc DVD. THe guys a 6-time world champion, and was in WWE for 7 years.

I doubt they are doing it out of nostalgia. Having Goldberg with a 3-disc set isn't because they are comparing him with HBK or Bret. Its a $$$ thing, and it sounds like they are expecting it to do very well, so they will include as much as possible.

People mark for attitude era stars, and Goldberg was one. That set will make coin.

A cruiserweight set would be nice.

just heard a 3 disk Ted Dibiase set and the Story of Wrestlemania DVD's are being planned for next year. HHH and Big Show are also expected to get 3 disk sets

I'm guessing it will have updated WrestleManias on it like 24-26

but the history of Wrestlemania has been shoved down our throats so much over the years, we're all familiar with all the WrestleManias.

I jacked this DVD which came with this WrestleMania 2000 book, showing 5 minute chapters of all the WrestleManias from 1985-2000. So if this new "Story of WrestleMania" DVD is to be done, I'm guessing it's just updated to include anything from WrestleMania XX to present (which should even include 27)

For a DVD that pertained to cover the Rise AND Fall, they sure short-changed the fall part.

The Wrestlemania Story dvd is expected to be a multidisk set which will have a documentary. Lots of behind the scene stories on the creation of Mania 1 and telling the tales behind the road to all the wrestlemania's and the events themselves. this is what I am hearing.

I personally would mark for a Halloween Havoc dvd

Quality is usually really good. Ive bought 95-98 Nitro with all PPVs in between off there and RAW 97-99 with the PPVs and everything Ive gotten has always looked good. Im an avid wrestling video collector though, I have over 100 of 1990s VHS tapes from WCW and WWF.

I pay quite a bit of attention to the upcoming DVD's, sales/offers that are on, listings etc as I'm sure quite a few of you do so I figured a single thread with all the related stuff in would be useful. I'll harass some of the mods to change the title, use it or don't use it yadda yadda yadda

This is the freaking DVD I want.

Blu-rays probably have a higher profit margin and since there's no point having a blu-ray of mainly SD content, they're clearly making some big moments "blu-ray exclusive" for no other reason than to make people get that.

Haven't watched the Iron Man match in years. Really looking forward to seeing it on Blu Ray.

Really interested in the 'Bret's WCW Regrets' bit, but not in the Blu Ray. Hopefully it'll end up on Youtube.
