I've missed you. Any thoughts on this upcoming season? Duke has a lot of thier core back, so it's going to be tough stopping them. Michigan State's going to be dangerous again.

The Plumlee brothers and the Zeller brothers are a huge controversy in Indiana.

They only got him after they completely rejected his older brother any chance of plating for them (one of his initial schools) and the hype of him being even better than Stephen and his dad.

Meanwhile, not surprised URI lost to Pitt who can be very physical and is rated #4. URI did make it tough for Pitt and hopefully they break the 3 year curse of falling apart late in the season to miss the tournament.

I think Illinois is going to be a contender. I think Ohio St will contend. I think IU will shock a lot of people and make a run for the tournament selection ( probably not contend tho ).

I'm not sold on Michigan St. Purdue, State, Ohio St, Illinois and you can never count out Wisconsin. They all have a legit shot. I think Purdue will take honestly. Lewis Jackson will shock some people. They have maybe the best center in college basketball ( in the conversation at least ) in JuJuan Johnson. And Etuan Moore is a great 2 guard and one of the best in College basketball. Both All Americans.

We should have a TPWW Final Four Bracket Tournament.

NCAA rejected any talks of expanding the tournament from 68 to a more rounded number in the near future after some questions in an announcement to the press today.

It could be related to everyone thinking the lower conferences would get some extra benefit from the extra spots (at least 1 or 2 of the extra spots) but ESPN is predicting all 4-5 extra spots to go to the "BCS"/Top 6 conferences.

The best 68 teams should get the spots, who cares what conference.

Nope it went up to 68 now and instead of 1 play-in game (64 v 65), its now 4 play-in games but done a bit differently.

Instead of just having all 4 play-in winners be #16 seeds, its set as 2 winners are a #16 seed, 1 winner as an #11 seed, and 1 winner as a #12 seed this year.

WTF that sounds confusing. So every year will it be random? like next year it will be a 16 , two 14 seeds, and a number 10 seed playing in? They should just make them 16 seeds.

Nah I think they set it up so that the last 4 at large teams have to play play-in games so that it's not just the little conferences that have to do the play-in games every year.

I doubt they will always change the extra 4 seeds but wouldn't be surprised if the first few tournaments have them flipping some spots around to find the best play-ins.

I think the NCAA had said they don't want to make all of them #16 seeds or else they could end up with a strong #16 seed than normal from one of the Top 6 conferences.

Carolina survives again...thank god. Can not keep spotting teams points like this, a good team(puke) will bury us.

Not that they are ever going to make a realistic run at anything ever but it is hilarious to see every time they (Clemson) put themselves in a good position they choke. I have never seen them win an NCAA tournament game despite having some pretty legit teams the last few years.

Duke got another "easy" bracket this year as the lowest #1 seed. All the big names except for #4 Texas are in the bottom of the bracket.

Ohio State as the #1 overall 1st seed got a tougher group than Duke. Might be similar to Kansas or Kentucky's extra tough group of last year.

Big East managed to get 11 teams into the field.

Id love to hear the explanation as to why Florida got az 2 seed over Purdue. also, I can see Butler upsetting Pitt in second round

I live in Tucson, and grew up in Southern Arizona, so my allegiance is with the Wildcats, and im happy we are back in the dance. however that being said, i do believe they put us with one of the toughest roads to make a run. our first game is against Memphis who is coached by Josh Pastnor, a member of our 97 national championship team, and honored UA alum. not to mention we have to potentially knock off Texas, Duke, Uconn, and SD State. we lose to a solid Washington team and they punish us with the dreaded 5 seed in the group of death. anyways, i do not have my picks yet, and would like to be directed to the tpww final four picks.
