If not, did they replace it with this new version? (this says TNA on it). I'm assuming they replaced the "NWA" with the word "TNA". I'm guessing it's the same title as above, just a new version of the belt. Similar to how the Cena belt is the WWE belt

Since 2007, TNA has had no ties to the NWA. The NWA pulled their World Title from TNA because TNA wanted it defended only on their show and not in any other territories. Therefore, TNA created its own World title, however they do trace its lineage with the NWA title since TNA's inception in 2002. So the TNA and NWA titles are completely separate but TNA traces its title inclusive with the NWA title since 2002.

I hate silver belts. Silver is 2nd place, and champions aren't 2nd place. I bet Triple H would refuse to wear a silver championship belt.

Doesn't look all silver to me, there are definitely atleast 2 colours in there. The middle looks more like dark pink or blue.

Can't unsee that now... Anyway, I don't think this belt design is completely horrible, but I do disagree with the method they used to introduce it. It seems to correlate more with Jeff's new 'Antichrist' persona (all dark and distorted looking) and less with the immortal regime, which I expect would have been gold with Hogan's mustache embroidered on the face.

On the subject of this being a sole champion belt, such as Austin's, I have a question: Why after Cena lost his custom title (with the pushed out spin deck) did WWE not change it back? I know it's irrelevant to the topic at hand, but it's something that's always bugged me.

Warrior had a turquois,red,neon green,and white strap on his belts,the smoking skull,FTW championship,Million dollar belt,WWE Hardcore title,WWE Divas belt,NWO belt,Spinner(U.S. and world),S.H.I.T title(Lance Storm) etc....Part of the buisness and the title looks badass. No problem with it at all.

So we have the Jeff Hardy Smoking Skull belt. Prob'ly designed it himself for the untouchable champion gimmick. I agree with Pope and Naitch, it suits him... as long as, like with the Smoking Skull/Brahma Bull belts, they only break it out whenever Jeff is champ, and not as a permanant redesign like the Cena spinner/WWE championship transistion.

Pulling this thread from the bowels of Hell to state the fact that Ken Kennedy is the <S>WCW</S> TNA Heavyweight Champion, and he's lugging around this chunk of shit. Even though he publicly craps on it in promos, he still comes to the ring with it instead of a respectable looking strap. This looks to be TNA's "spinner belt".

Of all the moves to copy from WWE, they choose a stupid one.

Simple explanation:

The people in power (who happen to be Bischoff and Hogan) won't spend the money - in kayfabe or reality - to give Kennedy a new belt. Storylinewise, they feel it's still Jeff's belt and expect him to get it back soon.

This makes the WWE Spinner design look passable as a world title.
