I was thinking about this last night, and I couldn't believe how long this guy was in the WWE

I liked him, and when I see that he was in WWE for 15 years, I couldn't believe that this guy was in the biggest wrestling company in the world for as long as he was, and he never really accomplished more than holding the tag team belts.

Lol Hardcore Holly. Every time he was on the screen I always thought 'wow, that guy has been in the WWE since the early 90's'.

Remember when they TRIED to give him a decent push up the card in his fued with Brock Lesnar. :lol:

Chavo is the only surviving member of the Alliance who came from WCW/ECW, which is pretty impressive considering that he's... Chavo. :shifty:

I mean, they had Christian and William Regal, but they were already in the WWF before that, and people like Rey Mysterio came after the Invasion angle.

But after the Invasion, after the title unifications, immunity battle royals and the big Survivor Series finale... the only man left from the Alliance, is Chavo Fuckin' Guerrero! :love:

As soon as I opened this thread, I knew I was going to post "Bob Holly" but it looks like I was well beaten to the punch.

My second choice is Regal. He's been in the WWE for almost a decade despite being on the wrong side of 30 and wrestling in a very unconventional style (by WWE standards). I love the guy, like most of the IWC, but it's amazing he's still around considering how much of an acquired taste he is.

he first debuted in wwf in the 91 royal rumble teaming with dusty to take on the million dollar man and virgil...nearly 20 years later hes still going..unreal

Maybe 10 years ago someone would have said Flair. Now we're all to wise to the fact that he won't give it up. Therefore, nobody is surprised that he's still going.

I'm surprised Jeff Hardy is a still going. Thought his body would have given up on him by now.

Basically any gimmick that should by all accounts be ridiculous, but somehow lasted a long time.

Rey Mysterio. Way back in WCW, he was just "one of those cruiserweights".

Hardy has a drug habit to support...gotta pay the bills!! And agreed with Flair, his ass will die in the fucking ring. I predict it being shortly after dropping a knee on his jacket. WOO!!!!! *clutches chest*............and scene.

I loved that feud, btw.

I'm going to go with KANE in this case. Who would've thought when he was Isaac Yankem DDS, or "Fake Diesel", that 15 years later he would still be in the WWE, and would be a Future Hall of Famer, and 2 Time World Champion?

Speaking of Hornswoggle, I never thought that Finlay would have continued his active wrestling career in WWE. He was well over 40 when he started wrestling in WWE.

But good for him, he even got to be in a few Wrestlemanias.

Go with overall careers. I'm sure you could really add to that list.

It was Dustin Rhodes. Goldust didn't debut until 95.

Speaking of which, if it wasn't for the Goldust character, Dustin Rhodes probably would've retired a long time ago, because the "Country Boy" gimmick doesn't really "stick".

Undertaker. That guy's body has to be hanging together with duct tape and good wishes. I love the guy. He's a legend, a phenom, and one of the most recognizable faces of the WWE both past and present, but he's on the injury list more often than he's active these days. He really needs to retire soon and enjoy banging his surprisingly younger wife.

Ok but if you go this way then you can list sexton hardcastle, terra ryzing, rocky miavia and the ringmaster, i never thought they would get up to much either

To be fair, he's been fired 657 times.

We're trying to pretend his career died with dignity years ago.

Yeah. Not only did he hang in, he gave us some of the best matches of this decade. I never saw it coming (But I'm glad I saw it).

but seriously, even ignoring his prior past, I had trouble believing he would have staying power as Kane.

The Hurricane is another one that surprised me. I mean, specifically as the Hurricane. I was surprised he had any longevity. Yes, he was amusing, but damn.

Also, Bret Hart. You know, since he never drew a dime.

Honestly, the "Ringmaster" was the only truly bad gimmick Austin had. When he was "Stunning" in WCW, he held the TV Title forever and would have eventually been World Heavyweight Champion had it not been for Hogan's arrival. Even during the promo that more or less kicked off the Hollywood Blondes-Arn & Flair feud, Flair in character said of Austin "Arn tells me you're gonna be The Man one day." Hell of an on-camera rub if you ask me.

Kane. I have never been a fan especially since the mask came off.

I haven't really enjoyed anything that he's done since his tag run with Booker T ended in late 02/early 03.

Hardcore Holly

I enjoyed his gimmick in 99 where he took on a bunch of super heavyweights, but other than that, I would always let out a *sigh* when he would come out.
