Many talents released
It's not on WWE.com yet, but JR confirms it in his blog.
Is it already time for the next Superstar Purge? |
Luke Gallows too sir.
|
Oh, so they are dropping the bland bigmen?

BEGIN THE PURGE

Money, money- yeah, yeah.

I was surprised Shad was still under contract. Although this makes for typical WWE booking. You have a decent tag team that are over, split up them, release one of them, and put the other on Superstars for him to rot.
Gallows I don't really care about. He did a good job with his role in the SES, but after that you knew it was a matter of time. On that note, where's Joey Mercury? |

You're on, good sir.

Shit. What are they gonna do with Shad's theme song now?
|
House cleaning has been rumored for a week, sad to see Shad go.
|
Big Dick Johnson is gone
|
In addition to the previously reported Shad Gaspard and Luke Gallows, WWE has also released Vance Archer, Caylen Croft, Tiffany and Jillian Hall today.
|
Quickly re-hire JTG and pair him with R-Truth. They're both black so no one will notice the difference.

kind of like to see luke get his old tag partner and go to tna.
|
WTF? Why would they release Archer and Croft but keep Baretta and Hawkins? Shit, brb, gotta update the points in the pink slip pool again.

Someone rename this to a general release thread.
Surprised Shad was the one released. Always thought he'd be the one to go far just for his size. |

Shit just got real.
|
They released like five or six developmental talents on Monday, so I pretty much expected this.

Hope Orton didn't leave them a going away present in said bags.
|
Hawkins might be safe because he was on TV this week, but obviously that doesn't mean anything.
Could see JTG go, though, and he was on TV this week... |
Cmooooooooooon outside chance of Heath Slater
|
It's been all SmackDown guys so far. You have to figure they are going to balance the roster somehow.

After jobbing to The Cobra, I could absolutely see the Usos go.

Then again, Primo could easily be released and no one would care about his NXT commitments, much like Carlito. |

Hart Dynasty=broken up Dudebusters=done Archer and Hawkins=done Cryme Tyme=done The Dashing Ones=broken up So aside from The Usos, Kozlov/Santino, and the 2 potential tag teams in Nexus, what teams are there? Kofi and Big Show? |
Hopefully not Zack
|
Why did I read on the front page on one of those bogus links that Christian was fired?
|
The tag titles should win themselves and go onto have the longest title run in WWE history.
They would wrestle by having the ring crew hit their opponents with the belts. |
Well Tiffany everyone saw coming

This makes me laugh.
WWE Chairmain and CEO Vince McMahon has signed a new contract with WWE. The employment contract is effective for three years from January 1st, 2011, with additional year extensions unless he or the company decide not to extend. Vince will serve in his current roles as Chairman and CEO, as well as Creative Director, writer and performer. He’ll get a yearly salary of $1,100,000 and will be entitled to receive an annual bonus target of 100% of base salary depending on performance. Vince will also have access to the company aircraft for personal time if it’s not in business use at the time, along with immediate family members, and gets four weeks paid vacation. Vince also has a one-year no-compete clause. |
They have to make room on the payroll for Vince's ridiculous demands.

How did Shad go before JTG? I mean JTG will probably go with this round, but they gave Shad a makeover and everything.
|
I wonder how they decide on the order of the releases coming out. Are they real time, or are they like "yeah, we'll release the jobbers now and wait until just before 5 to release anyone of importance"?
|
Didn't Shad rub the bookers the wrong way a long time ago?

Thought Jillian was released years ago.

I think she was released at one point but came back.
Then she "retired" recently and said she was going to go help out in FCW. Which I suppose is still possible, as I assume these are just talent contracts. |
"Talents" would be better for the title.

Manny Talents released.
He has many talents. |

Yeah, I could honestly imagine McCool's character being her attitude in real life, especially since she's married to one of WWE's most respected veterans, she's probably an uber-bitch backstage.
|
I'd still bang her if given the chance though. :naughty:

I'm not too upset about the other firings, but Vance Archer was the fucking man..... The guy is 6'6'' and can do a Moonsault, yet WWE gives him the typical big man moveset and a shitty finisher.....

Why on earth would you need an excuse to have sex with Tiffany? |
<font color=goldenrod>Anyway, none of these releases is surprising. With tag teams being broken up left and right I figured Croft was a safe bet since he's already in his 30's and I'm not sure what else there'd be for him to do. Ditto for Archer one The Gatecrashers broke up. I think Trent and Hawkins are safe though. Both guys are still really young and from what I've seen pretty solid in the ring. Not sure they'll be regular fixtures on the main roster anytime soon but I can deal with them having decent matches on Superstars while continuing to hone their craft in FCW.
Pretty sure Jillian's sticking around as a trainer in FCW, which is good. Her on-air character was beyond stale and she'd been buried to the point of no return, so letting her train the new divas is a smart move. Couldn't give a fuck less about Shad or Tiffany. Although I'm sure Drew will use this as an excuse to sex her all night. The only one that upset me was Gallows, I liked him and thought they could give him a decent babyface run. He's young and has some size to him. But, he's been through like 4 gimmicks and it just doesn't seem like they ever knew what to do with him. Out of this released bunch I'd say he's the most likely to head over to TNA in 90 days.</font> |
They need to fire John Cena :)
|
CMPunk CM Punk
Days like today bum me out. Gallows, many times was given chicken shit and turned it gold. He has heart, hustles, and loves wrestling. |
Just FYI, not that it matters.
According to a backstage source, referee Aaron “Goose” Mahoney was among those cut by WWE Friday. His release, however, was not officially announced and won’t be. |
Last time I saw Tiffany was at Money in the Bank, and she looked completely different since she was done up different.
I wanted to roger her silly |

Do Geese have big bags under eyes?
|
Who told you to stop cutting?
|
Crossing my fingers for Khali to be the first Raw guy cut.
