Anyway, I haven't watched TNA regularly in like 2 years...back when the Main Event Mafia was going through the Angle/Sting power struggle was when I tapered off. Since then, I saw the episode when they went head to head with Raw, and also "The Whole F'n Show" episode.

I've heard in passing about something called 'Fortune' and some guy called 'Jeff Hardy' who was apparently part of 'they', and I think Abyss and Hulk Hogan are BFF now. What else should I know going into tonight's show?

Worst case scenario, I've enjoyed Raw immensely for a while now, so if this show turns out to be a bucket of assholes, my appreciation for Raw will grow even more.

One thing that bugs me about TNA atm is the 'backstage real stuff' they do, always turns into a fight it seems and its really boring to watch now. They also do far too much of it.

Is there still an X-Division? Who's the champ?

The best part of that show was The Motor City Machine Guns v. Beer Money.

No, it's the match where he actually lost the title because the beaten he took was so severe that he had to drop the title.

What? I don't remember all that. I just remember him retaining. He didn't even seem that badly beaten up. I thought the ending to that show was a bunch of old ECW guys getting jumped by a bunch of old TNA guys.

It was a gimmicked injury because he had done alot of shows already for the company and he was only booked for a certain number of shows.

Something felt wrong about that match. Actually, I think it's just TNA matches in general. They have cool spots, but they aren't really telling a story. They're just doing the spots.

I seen nothing wrong with the Devon/Bubba segment. I thought it was entertaining. However, the build is all fucked up. Anderson took way too long to get to the point. His delivery was natural, but it sounded almost...too natural, I guess. It was like a promo you would cut if you were sitting on the toilet and all of a sudden, Matt Morgan, a camera crew, and 400 rabid fans kicked the door down without warning.

They were in the first match in a four-team clusterfuck that advanced just about nothing besides Ink Inc. and Beer Money in a number one contender's match. It was pretty stupid considering the other two teams were the champions and apparently the CURRENT number one contenders.

So Jarrett pretending to know MMA submissions is probably more dangerous than if he actually knew them. He's gonna slip or hook it wrong and fuck someones arm or knee up.

TNA is stupid Abyss nearly kills RVD and makes him lose the title, then they have a 1 off match. He runs out to talk to Jeff hardy against turning heel. Jeff beats him up after winning title. Jeff goes on to defend his belt against Matt Morgan while RVD faces Rhyno.

"The Rookie Ref" Screws Matt Morgan out of the title. Next week Matt Morgan tries to be his friend and put all his trust in him.
