An Idea For John Morrison....
 

So Morrison has gotten some huge wins as of late but sadly his character is still stale and quite "whack".

So here is my thought...




However,

Melina is a stale face and I always thought she worked better as a heel anyways. I was thinking that Melina could turn heel on her divas and still try to pursue John Morrison backstage...Finally winning him over by helping him win the US title from Daniel Bryan by cheating...Thus creating a sympathetic and slow heel turn.

I wanted it slow to ensure they do it right and plans could be called off if it doesn't get over.


I think the pairing of Melina and Morrison as heels again could bring new life for both of them.

Melina has the lungs to be a Sensational Sherry type (TYPE nothing like the real thing) and Morrison has his problems but overall he is stellar.

I don't have ideas for them beyond that but what do you guys think of my idea? What would you do to turn Morrison heel?

I think that the idea is pretty good. I just think that they should tease a heel turn when his character gets "very good" reactions. He has been getting great reactions lately for his moveset, his quality matches, etc. Get him a good writer for his promos (or maybe the writers he has SUCK, so let him do his thing). Whatever you need to do to get him respected for his mic skills as well as his in-ring skills, DO IT.

When he gets to Main Event status, i'd say do it then. I just personally think that though he is "over" right now, i don't think he's over "enough" for fans to care if he turned heel. Idk, just my opinion. But good idea, Schlomey.

The thought that came to my mind when I read that there are plans to turn Melina heel, and that WWE was thinking about pairing them together again was...WHY NOT? That's what they both need.

I have trouble caring about John Morrison. Both him and Kofi, they just do nothing for me. :-\

So I guess anything to make him interesting would be good.

This is probably more an idea for Miz that involves Morrison, but if they ever wanted to elevate Morrison into the title picture, right after this coming PPV would be good. Typically, the Rumble has low impact title matches, for example title matches that have included Hardcore Holly and last year they had Sheamus going for the title for the first time, as well as Mark Henry being in a World Title match at a Royal Rumble.

Morrison has been sticking up for Santino and feuding with Sheamus over being a bully. I'd turn this around and have Miz actually be the challenger and talk a whole bunch more crap to Morrison, calling him Marty Jannety again, telling him that he hasn't won anything relevant since Tough Enough, etc...

And through this all, Miz looks tough by talking all this stuff, he still keeps his heel persona by having Alex Riley fight his battles for him and with him.

...and I can continue to put "retarded" or "dumb" replies together...I put them together by typing on a keyboard...

I'd be for the idea if they really did burn it super slow and have Melina be actively responsible for his success. Morrison could realize that playing nice with the fans wasn't getting him where he wanted to be, and Melina was taking him to the top.

Melina would definitely have to be more active in the matches than, say, Maryse though.

I am sure you do, seems like when you log onto TPWW it is the only time you feel encouraged to do anything life. So applaud me for giving you some kind of encouragement in life, because your parents failed.

Teaming him and Melina up, would that take away from Ted & Maryse with having two power couples going at the same time? Or would that just make each one stronger? I wonder if that's why they haven't gone through with it.

also i'd like to see john morrison do anything other than what he's doing now. i just can't get behind his current character. it seems so bland and boring and whoever is writing his lines needs to rethink what they're doing. and i hate how his style is referred to as parkour offense. just bothers me. i don't know if sticking him with a heel melina is the answer, but it would definitely be something more interesting to watch.

I was thinking along the same lines, but I was thinking about the Dolph Ziggler-Vickie Guerrero duo. I believe that last Monday before the match, and I could be wrong, but LayCool said they would welcome Melina now. I think you'd have some kind of repeat of Melina finding Morrison with Lay or Cool, like Vickie found Dolph with Kaitlin.

Melina is much better as a heel. She’s been that face forever. Put her back in the skirt with a thong, and everyone will come crawling back.

I'd bang Melina senseless. She's not a pretty girl, but a sultry girl. That's why she'd work so much better as a heel. That being said, I don't particularly want to see her and Morrison back together again anytime soon. I'd much rather see Melina want to get back with Morrison, but The Shaman just constantly turn her down. It'd make Morrison look like a smooth cat, and can allow him to show off some of his real personality.

Eventually, you can have Melina cost Morrison a big match against The Miz, and reveal she has been banging him on the side ever since the MNM days. Drama!

Beating Sheamus at a PPV puts him closer to upper card status then mid card. I think going after the US title would be a step down for him, kindaa like how Kofi was feuding with Orton then was moved to Smackdown to win the IC belt. I'd rather have Morrison in the Upper card to mix things up with people was haven't seen him wrestle with for a while. Although he could have some amazing matches with Bryan, I think upper card status has better long term entertainment value. Especially if Bryan gets moved up there sooner or later anyways.

I would have predicted Sheamus to win the match between him and Morrison at TLC before it was announced to be a Ladder Match to decide the #1 Contender for the WWE Championship. Cutting The Miz's title reign off here doesn't seem to be the wisest move, and Miz vs. Sheamus just wouldn't work.

My guess is that we get The Miz vs. John Morrison at the Royal Rumble, with the WWE Title on the line. And that ain't a bad thing.

I agree with you that Sheamus vs Miz won't work...so we pretty much can guess Miz wins if Morrison wins, and Orton wins if Sheamus wins.

I wouldn't mind it if it became a Triple Threat Match at the Royal Rumble. John Morrison wins the Ladder Match, but during his WWE Title bout on RAW, Sheamus runs out and attacks Morrison, causing the disqualification. Yeah, it's pretty much exactly what they did recently with Dolph Ziggler, Kofi Kingston & Jack Swagger, but I quite enjoyed that, and it stems naturally from the Morrison vs. Sheamus feud.

The Miz and Morrison can no doubt have a great match, but keeping them away from one-on-one for a while can build to that eventual pay-off. Then you can have Triple H return in this title match, instead of the actual Royal Rumble. Triple H takes Sheamus out of the match, and then Morrison and Miz are left to finish it off.

It's definitely gonna be Miz vs. Morrison, bringing up the Marty/HBK scenerio

BTW, are Morrison and Meline still a couple? Or did he dump her for fucking Denim Dave? Or did she dump him for being too much of a nice guy?

I think Melina was banging Batista while she was with Morrison, they broke up, they got back together, but I think they've split again. I just read in passing that they "were a couple," but maybe they are still together?
