Rate Ken Anderson from 1 to 10
I was watching AAA this weekend and the main event featured a tripple thread match with Ken Andrson in it (plus, I think he did something on sundays PPV) How would you rate him on all aspects of profession wrestling. In ring work, promos, marketability, career growth (is he just a smartass who gives himself an introuction) and "look"/ presence. With 1 being the lowest and 10 being the bigger than curly fries I'd give him a solid 7. I dont think he's amazing in the ring and is alot smaller since leaving the WWE (cant imagine why) but he's got above average promo abilities and I think he's better as an arrogant heel mocking people
I agree, 7....maybe 7.5
5. I was never impressed with him.
He bores me more than Orton in the ring, but he is a good talker. 6/10.
Kennedy is better than Anderson
I rate him an ass out of hole
Put in a poll. I'd say 5 but he had the potential to be 11 in WWE. So I will average that a little bit and give him a 6.5.
6.2
I'll go with a 5...
I honestly cannot recall a single time that I watched a full Kennedy/Anderson match. |
4. He's super irritating on the mike and boring in the ring.
A definite 7. Had the whole world ahead of him in the WWE, but unfortunately fate didn't agree with him.
I'm happy for him that he's won the TNA title though. |
Besides, how can you hate a guy that does this:

6.5 seems about right.....
8
5. Average.
Solid 8
Prolly a 6.
Pretty gay rating guys dont you think??
8.5
Mr Anderson is much different wrestler than Mr Kennedy. I give him a 7 for his solid work, promos, potential and being less of a clumsy twat than he was in WWE.
6.
I think Miz does the same stuff better. |
Some days I think he's a 5 and other days I see him as a solid 8.
I'd say about a 7 or 8, with better booking, he's one of the few guys who really has the x factor, who I believe could be a big star.
Pretty harsh rating so far... I'll give him a 7.5
He's a 10 when I judge him based on his security guard skills
As a wrestler, a 7. He's not that great without the WWE machine behind him |
5.5
Because I sorta like the catch phrase "Thank God I'm an Asshole". |
solid 7
I'd say he was about an 8.5 in WWE but has gradually slid down since then.
7. Could hit 9 with a good push, some consistent exposure, and a good uninjured streak.

Oh, and just to put myself over, YES, I took this video, making me a 10 |
6.95738592649401734058362947329340572162047574753848...rounded to the 50th decibel point of course.
TOVO Fact: Tovo doesn't own a rhinoceros. |
9 Absolutly love him
So he got that gay, pink belt?
If Mr. Anderson destroys that belt, he will be a 12.
I was a mark for the guy when he first showed up. The man is good in the ring, and great on the mic. He's also got this natural charisma about him that just screams "top star." Injuries and weird booking in the WWE hindered him once he moved to RAW and turned face. To be honest, I haven't seen much of him in TNA, but he moves a fair bit of merchandise for them, and if he can remain healthy is definitely a good choice to be a guy they push that the WWE dropped the ball on. I just hope Russo-nomics doesn't completely disintegrate the guy's relevance to professional wrestling. One day, I hope to see him in the WWE again. Or at least a TNA with proper writing. |
You need a rank a wrestler true pure average ranking spreadsheet for me to take this seriously.
10. Love him.

Boring, doesn't draw. I don't think I've ever seen a steriod user as weak as Kennedy, maybe Edge. I can't recall seeing a Kennedy match and saying, 'man that was good'. Has he ever had a classic match? Don't think so. Also, he is injury prone and basically gets paid to sit on his ass at home. |

He should come out with a belt that looks like an asshole. |

His character in TNA is about a 9 but his ring skills are just above average at 6, so I'd give him a 7 overall at the moment, with room for growth
pending more match with Angle and Joe and Styles. |
People ranking him a 4? More boring than Orton? Be serious. Guy is an 8 at bare minimum.
Just because you want to fuck him, does not make him an 8.
Yet, I'll refrain from rating as I haven't seen any of his TNA work. |

Does anyone draw these days?

9 easily

Basing on his WWE work, 6. He had moments where you really felt he might break through. The moment where he returns the week after the KOTR tourney to confront Regal, and cuts a promo on him. Right there, I was thinking "this his chance to finally get where the company wants him to go".
Then I'm pretty sure he got hurt. He was never around for an extended period of time to get going and really flesh out as a character. |
When he first debuted in TnA and was feuding with Angle, I'd say he was a 10. I've not seen much of his work lately, but of what I have seen I say he is a solid 7.5.
6.5
Kennedy has the potential to be one of the best ever. He could be the Ric Flair or Gorgeous George of this generation if he had the right direction. His mic skills and charisma are solidly there, but he just needs to learn how to use them to their greatest extent. His in-ring skills leave a lot to be desired, he's a solid worker but he needs to learn how to tell a story in the ring. It's not just about going move for move until a finish, it's about taking the crowd on a ride with you from bell to bell. His best matches, IMO, have been against Shawn Michaels, who is the master of telling a story in the ring. This is why we don't remember many Kennedy matches as "great matches" - he hasn't had any yet. But if he keeps working hard and learning from the veterans and thinking more deeply about who he is portraying himself to be on the mic and in the ring, I think he'll be one of the greats. |
Man, I am out of step with the rest of this forum, Ken Anderson? A fucking 9?! Bizarre.
I think people confuse being loud with charisma. |
I remember reading that TNA had nothing for him creatively and his contract comming to an end not too long ago. I just figured TNA threw a bunch more money at him to keep him around. I can't particularly remember anything really note worthy Ken has done since he's returned. He has got alot better in the ring since his WWE days, should he stick with TNA or return to the WWE?
i dunno... 3? he's not really good at anything tbh.
He does come off a little awkward in the ring from what I've seen recently. Not spectacular in that aspect. I was a HUGE fan of him in WWE though. He had a presence about him and he was awesome on the mic. The boxing announcer gimmick he had going was fun and it helped him transition from obnoxious heel to babyface so well.
As good as he was as a character in WWE, he could have been the "next big thing" in wrestling. He started off pretty hot in TNA but now he kinda just floats around aimlessly in the packed TNA main event scene. He's become rather bland from what I've seen. When he was in WWE, I would have probably gone as high as a 9 just based on his mic work and the fact that I think he had a shot at rivaling Cena in popularity. The wellness violation and his apparent haphazard stye put a damper on that. Now... probably a low 6. |
Ken Kennedy can only say his name lololol

Solid talker gets a 6 in my book... In ring, a little stale...
So now that he has gotten better in the ring and gotten more expirence, do you think it's time for him to come back to the WWE (pretty much do what Christian did)? He's become more popular but he's become stagnant in TNA. Now it's time for him to go back to the big leauges and see if he can step it up to that next level?
If anything he should go smaller, like CZW or some other promotiion I'll never watch
I haven't really cared for him after his WWE run. But for what I remember he was a solid six. He was okay by the time he was let go.
Anderson's ring work is pretty good -- it's never spectacular, but he does things for reasons and that sort of thing. When he works with a great wrestler, the results are usually pretty great.
I think TNA should have Aces and Eights "take him out." Give Anderson some kayfabe time off and let him rest up his body a bit, get himself into gear mentally and physically, and bring him back with a major refresh down the track. It's not because he sucks or anything. I just don't feel that "energy" from him, at the moment.

I find him to be very bland overall, generic looking, annoying on the mic, and boring in the ring. |
First thing that came to mind when I thought of Mr. Anderson:

4-5, He's very boring to me. Never done anything spectacular or anything that sets himself from the pack. Never liked him, probably never will.
