That trailer is among the worst I've ever seen. From that trailer I couldn't tell if the film is supposed to be a comedy, a kids film, a drama or something else. I'm leaning towards a comedy...

Blatent rip off of that Vin Diesel film which I can't remember the name of right now. And that film was rubbish.

I've seen Unrivaled and Death Warrior, both are crap.

I thought it was going to basically be a "Mr Nanny type" movie, but it's kinda...weird. At times it looks like a comedy, at other times it's an action movie, and at other times, it's a drama.

...I'll still watch it, but...when the preview ended, I felt...strange.

Probably a painful mixture of both. It certainly looks awful. I'm not the type who roots for these to fail, but this one is probably going to be the biggest flop yet.

I don't know how, but they seem to be getting worse at making movies. You'd think they'd be able to string together 1 or 2 decent kids or action movies along the lines.

The thing that sucks is WWE wrestlers don't show up in other movies. At least I don't think they're allowed to, right?
Not that wrestlers had the greatest history of being in other great movies, but who knows what kind of potential funny cameos or roles these movies prohibit.
If WWE films existed when They Live was made, Roddy Piper wouldn't have been in it.

WWE should put up the cash to have Universal and John Carpenter make They Live 2. Even if it's straight to DVD it will have an audience.

I'm waiting for WWE to greenlight Punk's idea of using all WWE wrestlers for a Cannonball Run remake.

I count it as an abortion of an idea that should have been left on the drawing board. The drawing board should have been set on fire and pissed out. The person who came up with this idea should have been fired. The guy who plays MacGruber should be executed.

That being said, there should be a MacGuyver movie...

Will this movie make more money than Knucklehead did in the theaters? Knucklehead didn't even make the minimum to even be counted (less than 75 bucks.)

I will personally go watch it every screening if that is what it takes to prove what should be gospel after Blade III...Triple H is the next Robert DeNiro.

This is an epic inspirational family dramedy that deserves my full attention mentally and spiritually. I am sure I will be able to tug it with popcorn butter grease in-between screenings though.

Stuck seeing this trailer at RAW tonight. Looks really bad. I dont see HHH as a hardened criminal who did time. And also trying to say "I'm the chaperone!" all bad-ass like. I would laugh in his face.

The beard he's wearing when leaving the prison looks silly.

YEah I thought it was an action movie when i first read the description now it looks like a shit family comedy. But it's rated PG 13 so what the fuck. It just looks like shit.

Actually. I think it fits his character, DX, and the PG rating well.

Legendary was actually really good. So I wouldn't count this out until you watch it.

A lot of wrestling fans are too far redneck to like main stream media, but lets hope they like this movie!

i love me some HHH, but this movie looked awful. Why does WWE make such bad movies? Now if you put old school Goldust as a chaperone for a bunch of kids, i think we have a dark horse for picture of the year! lol anyways just curious what you all thought on the preview from raw, or wherever else you may have seen it

I watched Knucklehead, it's really bad. This movie looks worse. Triple H looks fucking horrible with that pony tail and fake smile, what were they thinking?

It'll be free for streaming from Netflix, just as Knucklehead was. Knucklehead was horrible and I'm sure The Chaperone will be no better.

I just don't get how WWE films is still going at this point. It is hard to believe that they have been able to break even, much less turn a profit. I mean I can imagine the reason Vince keeps the ball rolling is to avoid losing his top stars to Hollywood much like he lost The Rock. But between WWE Films and the XFL, I think it is safe to say that Vince has pissed away more money than we collectively will ever see in our lives.

The beginning of the Monday night trailer looked like it was going to be like a sad drama about a dad and his family. Then it was like oh hey some funny jokes he is finding his stride with kids.

Then it just went off the fucking wall with stupidity . Honestly until the "Bad Guy" shows up, it looked like it was be a normal popcorn flick.

seriously they should just give up on the films, WWE are never going to be disney and they should just stick to what they know best wrestling, i mean just look at these figures, if i came to my production company with figures like this they would fire me, litterally fire me in a kiln, i thought vince was mean to be this business genius.

I will admit that I watched Legendary and Knucklehead on Netflix and thoroughly enjoyed them both. I still can't bring myself to watch The Marine though.

Looks terrible. WWE needs to stop making films. Theyre a wrestling company. WWE needs to come to terms with this.

You don't understand why they do these..

When WWE became a publicly traded company, they made a shit ton of money.. Starting a production company was a way to spend some of that excess money while using their stars and filming mostly in Louisiana (because of tax incentives) is a way to "invest" that money and possibly make more..

If they break even on these films they actually make money in taxes..

Walking Tall was a badass movie.


I thought Legendary was Cena's best work.

I just need to see stars put in obvious roles.. Triple H/Cena can't pull off a stay at home dad or comedy type kid movie..

They can do a action/history type movie...

Christian, Santino, Miz, Morrison, smaller guys can play dramas, comedies, romance, fantasy... but not these pumped up wrestlers who look the only place they spend their time is in a gym.

The Condemned and See No Evil are the only WWE films I have actually liked. And with PG-WWE, there will no more of See No Evil.

I have enjoyed every WWE Films production I have watched. Of course, I am not an anal movie critic or anything. I don't watch any film expecting a fucking Oscar-worthy production. However, I have never actually gone to the theater to see these films. God bless Netflix!
