Most Bitter person in wrestling?

What do you think?

VSG 01-13-2011 08:40 PM

Adam Evans

ThePhantom 01-13-2011 08:44 PM

The Ultimate Warrior

"The Hurricane" Helms

To an extent, and I do love this man, Bret Hart.

Kane Knight 01-13-2011 08:46 PM

Matt Hardy lolol i h8 him so much

Anybody Thrilla 01-13-2011 08:46 PM

Bret Hart has clearly lightened up considerably. Also, I don't think the Warrior is as bitter as he is insane.

I don't get it.

CSL 01-13-2011 08:58 PM

Ole Anderson. Ricky Morton's not a happy bunny either.

itsmeJD 01-13-2011 08:58 PM

Shane Douglas is one bitter sumbitch, as is Pretty Paul Roma, plus the Z-man back when he had his ego-strokin website. There's a lot of good choices to choose from.

TheAdamEvansFan 01-13-2011 08:59 PM

To me, he looks creepily smooth in that picture (possibly due to bad photoshop). It makes me think that he's a few axe chocolate cans away from turning into that horrific creature.

How did this not get a backlash for being a white guy in pretty much blackface?

I think he's a bit bitter about how he was used in WWE, but it's a bucket over Niagara Falls compared to Shane Douglas, Ole Anderson, and Jeff Jarrett. I'd throw Jim Cornette in there too.

I thought about throwing Jim in there, but I watch his interviews, and he has valid points, I think he's very aggressive in his opinion about today's writers/product, but thats his style so I left him out, because he makes valid points, IMO of course.

He's extremely knowledgable about a lot of things. And he isn't bitter about being fired by this-or-that company so much as he's bitter because sports entertainment sells far more than "pure wrestling" does. And because people don't see how brilliant and genius his ideas for the business are. I don't know if the gimmick imitates life or life imitates the gimmick, but it seems like he's one of many people in the world living an "if you don't agree with me you're an idiot" bubble.

Theo Dious 01-13-2011 11:45 PM

I will also say, listening to him slam TNA & WWE during last years miserable attempt at a Monday Night War 2 was pure comedy gold.

JimmyMess 01-14-2011 01:02 AM

I too would not categorize Cornette as "bitter". He just comes off as frustrated because he can see the holes, the issues, the troubles of the business coming from a mile away. He picks out obviously stupid angles, plots, etc. and has his emotional take on them. He's one of the smartest wrestling minds, and I bed Vince would be the first person to say that.

Brigstocke 01-14-2011 03:17 AM

The guy who played Nailz.

Rammsteinmad 01-14-2011 05:12 AM

Bret Hart.

Rammsteinmad 01-14-2011 05:15 AM

Goldberg doesn't sound at all bitter in that video. It sounds like he just wasn't enjoying his time in WWE, so he left.

If he had been ranting on and on over the weeks/months that followed, then he'd be bitter.

Anyone who leaves WWE for TNA.

Also Martha Hart.

Theo Dious 01-14-2011 09:11 AM

I don't know if Martha Hart is bitter so much as driven over the edge by grief. Whatever it is, it sure isn't pretty.

He couldn't wrestle because girls were wearing g strings? But he could play a part in a movie where he refered to his penis as a hammer, and insinuated he could kill someone if he hit them with it? Or any number of cheesy straight to video movies just sucked ass? But he was raised not to wrestle on a program with girls in g-strings.

Apparently he's had a rod up his ass for about 30 years about somethingorother I seem to recall it has something to do with Vince supposedly promising to give his son a spot. Also I think he has a Cornette-esque hatred of Vince's sports entertainment direction with the business.

whiteyford 01-15-2011 05:59 PM

Few interviews i've read with Bruno it always comes back to Hogan/Austin being labelled a bigger draw than him, how he could sell out the same building for a week straight etc. and they only got the one night sellouts or some shit.

I've read this too, and I wish I could ask him if he could still pull that off if he were televised constantly and accessible 24/7 through a mass communications medium.

Damian Rey 01-15-2011 11:56 PM

Matt Hardy, indeed.

I wouldn't say Bruno. I don't know a lot about his reasons, but from interviews, it just sounds like he doesn't agree with Vince and his direction.

Out of all questions you can ask about wrestling, I think with this one, you have the most amount of choice. Virtually everyone is bitter when they leave, then they die.

Gotta love this business!
