The IMPORTANT question : Where does DIESEL go from now?
Yes we all know Del Rio won the Rumble.
But Disiel returned, aka Kevin Nash. I am sooo glad he is finally out of that garbage dump known as TNA. But the question remains, what next for the big man? Now we all know he is really Kevin Nash but I think he should go by Diesel for a while because that would be kinda fresh and a classic throw back. But what can and will Diesel do in the WWE now? Will he be a face? A heel? I think a good idea would be for Diesel to go after The Nexus and The Corre. He could call them young ungrateful punks who ripped him off when he made the nWo with Hall and Hogan and can say that he did it right and they are just weak. Then Diesel and both halves of Nexus could feud for a month and after they beat up on Nash for a while, Cena and other big WWE stars can join in to help him. Eventually, Diesel can turn on the WWE and say that this was all planned beforehand. He can say, "Guess what, the Nexus called me up and said, bro we remember the nWo. How would you like to be in on another take over?" and he can say that all this time he pretended to fight with the Nexus to get closer to WWE main stars and infect them so that Nexus can finally bring an end to the WWE. This turn can be in a PPV match with Nexus vs Team WWE, where Diesel completely annihilates everyone in team WWE and takes out John Cena out of action. I think this can be pretty big. It would certainly be better than Diesel feuding with HHH again. What do U think? |
What is the difference between Kevin Nash and Diesel?

J/K Diesel is a classic WWF name while Nash is a new generation, nWo name. |
I wouldn't mind for Diesel to get a Wrestlemania send off, perhaps even inducted into the Hall of Fame along with HBK. It would be a perfect ending for the big guy. However, if he were to get a spot on Wrestlemania, it would need to be in a multi-man match, as WWE has so many deserving guys that need important spots at Wrestlemania.
I think though in a perfect world Diesel inducts HBK into the Hall of Fame, the klique have a Wrestlemania reunion, perhaps when Sheamus pulls out every stop in the book to beat Triple H, Nash, HBK, Hall and Kid run in and do their big spots and give Triple H the victory and we have a Wrestlemania moment of celebration with the most powerful and talented group of superstars in WWE history. It would be something very special. I read a report that Nash may go to WWE creative, which I would support much more than a full time in ring return, which we know just isn't possible. Hell, it's not likely he could take an active schedule and make it to Wrestlemania without an injury. |

Is he actually signed with WWE now or was it a one-off. I got no problem with him going into the HOF, but otherwise I seriously don't want to see him at Wrestlemania, and I'm seriously shocked that it seems quite a few people here want to.

He should go into the Hall at a minimum.
I think he knows his ring days are over, and is rebuilding the WWE bridge. I would die for him to join the Raw or Smackdown announce team. |

I believe it's a one-time deal as far as the ring goes.

Yeah I don't see him doing any more singles matches... maybe a multi-man match as the others have said. But as long as he can still hit all of his big spots then occasionally I'm sure they'll try to work him in. If the fans buy it, they'll try it.
Perfect example... he had the loudest chant/sustained pop of the entire Rumble. Thats saying something about drawing power... |
Nash's spot last night was awesome. But he didn't seem to be too limber in the ring, so I'm thinking his days as an active performer are likely over. Having a spot for him in creative would be a great opportunity. I also approve of a possible gig behind the announce table. And of course, the HOF.
|
Yea definately see him going into the HOF, hope they let Hall do the induction:shifty:
|
Wherever the fuck he pleased.
|
I'd have thought he'll save the booking team the trouble of booking 2 months of TV to get people to buy WrestleMania by just guaranteeing his usual 7-star WrestleMania match, probably put on a clinic with one of the smaller guys given his long list of classics with the X-Division guys in TNA over the last few years. Danielson vs. Nash maybe. Best in the world vs. best in the universe. Money.
|
I had no idea Diesel was Kevin Nash.

I dont want him wrestling to far past mania. Like to see him announce with Booker T on Smackdown.
|
I'm thinking we're going to get Show vs. Diesel at Mania. It gives you that spectacle match with two giants going at it. It won't be pretty, but it'll be an impressive sight.
Other than that, I think he'll float around on RAW for a bit, maybe do something with Hunter at some stage or even Sheamus to lead to Hunter/Sheamus at Mania. Maybe throw him in the RAW Chamber match. I can also see him being inducted into the HOF this year. After Mania I don't see much if anything from him. |

They could even have him as a bodyguard, kind of making his WWE career full-circle. He can't work like he used to, so putting him in this kind of position makes sense.
|
Diesel could feud with Big Show for Mania for...well I guess for fun.
Where does TNA go from here now that Nash and T are not rejoining? |
I heard that TNA never factored Booker into the mix, but here's a spoiler on the TNA subject from PWInsider:
SPOILER: show |
lol Flair. That's a great story, something along the lines of asking for money up front on the tour and refusing to get on the bus so they just left him which led to him missing some dates.
And the MEM thing was pure internet speculation anyway. |
WWE thinks they screwed TNA, they may have just saved them. Booker and Nash in scope of the WWE Universe is TOTALLY different than manipulating their way to the upper regions of TNA. This could be a great move for both companies.
Crimson is obviously going to be in "they" btw. |
I need to get cable so I can mark out.
|
Dude, you would have jumped three feet off the ground.

Yeah Nash shouldn't wrestle anymore. The older big men get the more fragile they are. He should be writing skits or planning promos. I think they messed up his appearance at the Rumble. Barrett might have something to do with that though. It seems he kept attacking Nash and recovered too quickly. The crowd would have been more hot if he was actually allowed to do shit without Barrett attacking him. At least one Jackknife would have been good to see.
|
Nash and Booker going to the WWE is the final, last, finishing blow to TNA.
All WWE needs now is to get Kurt back and I think they will. Then TNA is DONE. |
I reckon he'll wrestle Big Show at WM. Theres an interview up on WWE.COM with Nash being asked about the stare down with Big Show, and that he'd like to have another go at him.
|
If this is his last run, Show would probably be the best to work with imo and give him a credible run with.

Nash is a very intelligent man...... He is a huge asset in the creative department, not necessarily in coming up with storylines, but putting together a match that would get both guys over and allow them to look at their best, yet further the stroyline of the writers..... I'm hoping a couple of squash matches until Mania, get inducted into the HOF, then face Big SHow with HBK in his corner.....
|
I hope he works with Wade or my dream match of Taker vs Nash vs Show vs Kane.

I'm just glad he made an appearance in the Rumble. I highly doubt he'll be active, but he'll at least stay through Wrestlemania hopefully to add some star power wherever it's needed
|
Where does Diesel go? He goes to WWE.com for an interview, where this is said:

Woulda be nice to see Diesel eliminate someone (instead of jobbing along with Booker) from either Nexus or Corre only to lead to a brief faction war with The Kliq but that ain't gonna happen but it looks like he may have a program with Big Show which would be much better than nothing at all.

Did anyone mention the hospital yet?
Keep him offscreen. |
If Nash is revealed as the anonymous Raw GM, could TNA sue him for violation of contract? :shifty:
|
I remember when Nash broke Show's neck with his Jackknife Powerbomb.
|
I remember when Nash did a 1080 splash off the tron.
|
Xero, can I get a link for that?
|
I think Xero was there live because it was never successfully recorded on video (and boy did they try), something about 'not even telescope lenses being strong enough to capture and maintain the sight of it'.

I'm not the biggest fan of Kevin Nash, but I can understand he can work a mic. It depends where his head is at, and whether or not he can get behind the future of the WWE when it comes to factoring him in, in my opinion.
If I had to use him in an in-ring role, I'd have him appear on SmackDown! and align himself with The Corre. Not as the new central figure, but appreciating that there are "no leaders" and this is the reason the nWo failed in their war against WCW -- stupid politics. Nash puts Barrett over as an ultra-genius and a man with the vision to change the landscape of the WWE. This leads to Big Show vs. Kevin Nash at WrestleMania. I know the WWE is calling him Diesel, but to be honest, it just doesn't feel right to me at this point in Nash's career. We've seen him and know him as Kevin Nash. Diesel was who he was, and then she shed that persona and revealed himself to the world. Diesel worked as a "Hey, nostalgia in the Rumble!" moment; but black hair or not, I think Diesel is the past and Kevin Nash is the man. |

We all knew Miz as Mike Mizanin from MTV's The Real World We all knew John Morrison as John Hennigan from Tough Enough We all knew Daniel Bryan as Bryan Danielson and Daniel Bryan at the same time We all knew Dolph Ziggler as Nicky the Male Cheerleader We all knew R-Truth as Ron Killings and K-Kwik We all knew Goldust as Dustin Rhodes, Dustin Runnels, Seven, and Black Reign What do names mean in professional wrestling? Nothing. They come and go. Little kids, who are such a huge part of the WWE audience now, aren't going to know who Kevin Nash is. And when it comes to the WWE, Diesel was a former WWE Champion, Intercontinental Champion, and Tag Team Champion while Kevin Nash was a guy who got injured the night he came back from an injury. Nostalgia is huge right now in the WWE, and if Mark Henry can come out as Sexual Chocolate for Retro Raw, then Kevin Nash can go by Diesel. I'm all for it. |
