Who would you like to see get a push the most in 2011

Which superstar do you feel deserves/needs a push this year?

Why?

Rammsteinmad 02-02-2011 10:05 AM

Christian!

But failing that, I think it's time for Morrison to step up.

#BROKEN Hasney 02-02-2011 10:16 AM

Santino and Tarver.

TheAdamEvansFan 02-02-2011 10:19 AM

I didn't add any Nexus or Corre guys (except Wade Barrett n Justin Gabriel) since they will be given a push through their faction, just not on a singles level.

The Jayman 02-02-2011 10:27 AM

Christian

If that don't happen I would like to see McIntyre get a push

FAIL. Forgot him!

KIRA 02-02-2011 10:42 AM

KOFI FUCKING KINGSTON

or failing that defiantly John Morrison

TheAdamEvansFan 02-02-2011 10:48 AM

I added Santino Marella to this list because I'd personally like to see him play a more legit role.

If WWE still had the cruiserweight division, he'd be a legit contender. (in my eyes)

I didn't add Sheamus or Vladimir Koslov because they seem like they will get a push regardless due to their size.

he falls under the "other" option

Suits him.

Kofi, he was fucking awesome last year against Orton. Failing that Morrison. Also I'd like to see more of DH smith and Tyson Kidd

The Show Off 02-02-2011 11:46 AM

I said Daniel Bryan but I really should have picked Christian.

The Gold Standard 02-02-2011 11:48 AM

Kofi. Only if he turns heel and starts wearing suits. He needs to turn on the fans and turn on a top caliber guy. My choice would be turn on Edge. Have him start teaming up with Edge in the Main Event and Edge gets pinned a few times and Kofi begins to get upset. Kofi then starts to lose in tag matches and looks mad at Edge. Then at a PPV, say Over The Limit, he turns on Edge in the Main Event to have Edge lose. The Kofi comes out the next night (Smackdown) in a suit and explains why he did it.

Gertner 02-02-2011 11:50 AM

Jack Swagger.

SlickyTrickyDamon 02-02-2011 11:50 AM

Get Daniel Bryan off NXT and get him back to defending the United States Championship on every ppv.

The crowd seemed to like all those great matches with the Miz and then Miz/John Morrison. What's the deal? Just because the Bella Twins aren't over and suck ass doesn't mean Daniel Bryan has to.

BizarroKing 02-02-2011 12:28 PM

Bryan providing they give him a better gimmick or something.

Juan 02-02-2011 12:33 PM

Toss up between Morrison and Barret

MoFo 02-02-2011 01:02 PM

Sheamus and Diesel.

Nightwing 02-02-2011 01:09 PM

I think 11 is gonna be Morrisons time. I would have said Barrett, but I think he'll be there sonner than later.

Fignuts 02-02-2011 01:37 PM

Santino

Most of the guys on the list will probably get a push at some point regardless.

RiX1024 02-02-2011 06:31 PM

Christian. Nuff said.

XCaliber 02-02-2011 11:08 PM

DiBiase it'd be a shame to have him stuck in midcard hell with the talent he has.

Mr. Nerfect 02-03-2011 02:38 AM

I wish I could choose multiple guys. I'm really torn between choosing John Morrison, Daniel Bryan, Jack Swagger, Christian or Santino Marella.

Aguakate 02-03-2011 02:40 AM

I voted for Sting based solely on wishful thinking.

TheAdamEvansFan 02-03-2011 03:29 AM

Noid, I'm torn on half of those guys atleast, however, some people abuse the multiple choice.

Mr. Nerfect 02-03-2011 04:10 AM

Oh, it's fair enough. It does ask "the most." I just can't find it in myself to choose Morrison or Christian over the other.

Haze 02-03-2011 12:24 PM

Christian without a doubt.

Poit 02-03-2011 01:09 PM

Christian, followed by Santino.

Nicky Fives 02-03-2011 02:48 PM

DiBiase can carry the ball if given the chance..... Christian definitely deserves a push..... I'm also a fan of McIntyre as well....

DLVH84 02-04-2011 01:26 AM

There's quite a few people I would push...

WWE
Christian Cage
Ted DiBiase, Jr.
Kofi Kingston
John Morrison

TNA
A.J. Styles
Frankie Kazarian
Crimson
Amazing Red

Jordan 02-04-2011 03:25 AM

I think Santino could have an amazing feud with the Miz... could probably main event Summerslam if they built it up.

D Mac 02-04-2011 03:29 AM

The Masterpiece.

KaosDarksol 02-04-2011 09:21 PM

I voted Wade Barrett because I believe he will get a legit push this year, but I would also like to see Daniel Bryan get a good push and get away from useless divas.

Jakob Synn 02-04-2011 09:30 PM

I'd like to see serious Santino for once. His IC run could have been spectacular if written correctly, but alas the let it comes to a conclusion to fast.

Mr. Nerfect 02-04-2011 10:53 PM

Someone needs to hurt Tamina, and really get Santino into a fervor. That would be a good storyline to get Marella out of his pure comedy shtick. You can then have Tamina turn on Marella, and help the heel that "hurt her" out. Marella is all depressed, and Kozlov is all "No bitch does that to my friend" and faces Marella's nemesis and wins, but is then taken out by them illegally -- giving Marella more reason to go after them.

Only if:

1. He turns heel.
2. Gets back his old theme song.
3. gains back 30 pounds.
4. Cole doesn't forget the name of his finisher being the Masterlock instead of the Masterpiece again.
5. Masters finds a way for all of the breaks of the masterlock in the past to be DQed.

MoFo 02-05-2011 12:02 AM

Christian is kind of lame now.

I think I was basing his greatness off his 2005 WWE run. He isnt that guy anymore.

CSL 02-05-2011 12:07 AM

Melina.

CSL 02-05-2011 12:07 AM

Off a cliff.

CSL 02-05-2011 12:08 AM

Or a medium to tall building. Either is good.

Shadrick 02-05-2011 12:25 AM

One day Kofi. One day.

SlickyTrickyDamon 02-05-2011 01:05 AM

You'll poop Hornswoggle out of your ass. Destiny accomplished.

TheAdamEvansFan 02-05-2011 01:20 PM

Christian should be given a push in WWE Films.

He'd do great in a comedy.

glanville6 02-05-2011 04:28 PM

Christian always wins these polls, and I agree with it!

Mr. Nerfect 02-06-2011 01:34 AM

Kofi Kingston will get his shot. The WWE have been pushing him quite strongly recently.

DLVH84 02-06-2011 02:33 AM

I also heard Chris Masters is getting a push this year as well.

SlickyTrickyDamon 02-06-2011 03:51 AM

Can't they all get pushes except for R-Truth and Chris Masters?

Disco Apocalypse 02-06-2011 05:14 AM

Half of those guys in the poll are already involved with some degree of push, so for me it's Dibiase, because he's going nowhere. I think he should at least get one more push based on his work with Legacy. But at least he didn't get eliminated by Hornswoggle at the Rumble though...

Also, is it possible to start a club for people who don't jack off into a Captain Charisma towel every night? The guy is classic on the mic, I like his work, but he went to TNA at the wrong time. In the same time he was away, Edge clocked up 8 or 9 world titles. In 2005 they were both placed, I thought, relatively equally on the card. Christian's time has passed, and rather than give him a token world title before he retires, put that belt on someone who won't leave the WWE because of "respect". /Rant

Mr. Nerfect 02-06-2011 05:31 AM

Chris Masters has gotten really good, to be fair. I've enjoyed his personality on NXT, and he's often one of the more entertaining Pros from the stage. His ring work is a lot better, and he's still got credible size to him. That the guy is only something like 27 years old works in his favour, too.

Impeccable 02-06-2011 05:36 AM

I really, REALLY want to see a William Regal push. Doubt it's going to happen, but the guy deserves it. His Rumble showing was unspectacular, but solid. He's not your typical draw, but neither was JBL before his repackaging/re-gimmicking.

Turn him heel and he's got his push. Keep him face and he'll get fired.

I'm sorry, but I get sick to my stomach whenever I see William Regal without a shirt on.

He's so out of shape these days it's disgusting.

I'd rather see him in a manager role, maybe on Smackdown or as Raw GM.

His time has come and gone.

Regal was all set in 2008, but then blew it by getting suspensed. Now, I LOVE the guy, and that is almost three years in the past, but he's a bit older now (and he wasn't young then). I'm still convinced that he would have used his evil GM powers to secure himself a WWE Title shot against Triple H, and with The Game being a huge supporter of Regal (I think he asked for Regal to be moved to RAW and get a push), Trips would have gladly dropped the title to him. Then CM Punk would have cashed in against "The Invincible King" with his Money in the Bank title shot.

I'd still mark out for a Regal push, though -- not going to lie. The guy still gets treated pretty well for an undercard guy. The amount of matches he actually wins on Superstars is actually quite impressive. I really liked his "trial series" with Darren Young, where Regal would constantly beat Young, but there was a story there with Young trying to prove he could beat the veteran. But that was just dropped.

Regal needs to be pushed wherever Striker is doing commentary, though. Striker's genuine admiration for Regal shines through, and he really makes him seem like a big deal. "The greatest wrestler to have never won a World Championship" instantly makes Regal seem like the guard to the main event.

I disagree, actually. I enjoy Masters as a face. He needs to get a bit more intensity behind his face character, but I think that just comes with direction. As a heel, he was very cliche. As a babyface, he walks the line between a two-dimensional guy who is just having fun, and a young but experienced guy with a cocky attitude.

It's a shame they took away his pairing with Eve Torres. That was actually getting Masters quite over. Now that Eve is the Divas Champion, I wouldn't mind seeing them have some sort of interaction (although I doubt the WWE remembers).

Skippord 02-06-2011 10:23 AM

Tarver or Morrison

Ummm...he's not out of shape...have you seen him move in the ring? Just because his body looks like that (because he's older) doesn't mean he's out of shape. Linebackers/Defensive lineman are the same way. Hell, look at Husky Harris. Regal can still kip up, its crazy how in shape he is.

Can't envision him as a WHC but I could see him beating Miz for the WWE Championship down the road which would be ironic in a way.

Looks to me that the steroids wore off.

Husky Harris still has an upper chest, while Regal just has a huge gut.

abec 02-06-2011 09:48 PM

Mike Knox, they should have kept him off the mic and made him the new bad ass ( kaneish ), the guys a monster comparative to the sissy metrosexuals they have right now running the place.

Attitude99 02-07-2011 06:30 AM

Christian followed by Morrison

Shisen Kopf 02-07-2011 10:05 AM

Husky Harris for sure. He is the ravishing Rick rude of our generation
