I loved Knucklehead. Were you expecting Gone With The Wind?

Eklipse 02-15-2011 05:02 PM

There's also "The Backyard" which shows a lot of backyard wrestlers...kinda' like a documentary.

Furious Beardsley 02-15-2011 06:36 PM

Knucklehead wasn't bad, but it wasn't good either.

Fignuts 02-15-2011 08:00 PM

Luchamania is on there. Showcases famous lucha feud.

SlickyTrickyDamon 02-15-2011 08:27 PM

Bigger, Stronger, Faster: does that count as a wrestling movie?

Shisen Kopf 02-15-2011 11:03 PM

Why don't they have survivor series 1997

D Mac 02-16-2011 05:29 AM

Saturday Night Live Season 25 where the Rock first hosted is on Netflix streaming. So is Season 27 where he hosted again.

For a stupid comedy, it was not bad at all... Netflix kicks ass... Glad they are doing this...

SlickyTrickyDamon 02-16-2011 03:15 PM

Wow Ryan Clark is now stealing story ideas from the forum! Xero is now on par with the great internet journalists of the day.

My thoughts exactly. Fuck Ryan Clark and his 692 wrestling sites

Eklipse 03-04-2011 05:23 PM

I think this should be stickied. I think I saw "Wrestlemaniac" on there earlier. It has Rey Mysterio Sr.

From PWInsider:

The Chaperone, starring Triple H, will be available for Netflix Streaming online starting on 3/8.

On 3/15, the old WWE DVD documentary "Twist of Fate" on Jeff and Matt Hardy will be available via Netflix streaming as well, the first documentary title in WWE's back catalog made available via the streaming service.

Also updated the original post a bit, including some new ones. Let me know if any of the links are broken.

FUCK YESSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSSS

Xero 03-06-2011 07:39 PM

Still finding more and updating the list.

Evil Vito 03-06-2011 07:45 PM

<font color=goldenrod>The Hardyz' documentary randomly going up gives me hope that damn near all of them will be up at some point.</font>

Loose Cannon 03-06-2011 07:49 PM

caught Big Show's doc the other night. wasn't very good at all. They concentrated too much on him as being "big" and not more on his feuds/matches etc.... They blazed right past his WCW stuff and didn't really dive in to deeply with his WWE stuff. Like they talked about Undertaker "mentoring" him, but didn't really talk about them being in a tag team and winning the belts. I wanted more of that.

Xero 03-06-2011 07:50 PM

Yeah. At the very least I'd imagine we'll get a lot of the older stuff. It'd be awesome if they put up some round tables.

Lara Emily 03-06-2011 08:35 PM

Fucking Canadian Netflix none of this is available here.

Eklipse 03-06-2011 09:17 PM

Why would the make a different instant stream for Canadian netflix users? That's fucking lame.

SonOfAnarchy26 03-06-2011 10:02 PM

I watched the Big Show documentary also, didnt care for it really and his matches are never anything exciting...

Loose Cannon 03-06-2011 10:07 PM

watching the Backyard right now.

Happens a lot different rights holders in some cases, in other CRTC regulations, it sucks.

Corndad 03-15-2011 02:31 PM

Just watched the Steamboat doc..fantastic..somehow had never seen the DDT from Jake the Snake on SNME..brutal

Jeritron 03-16-2011 12:35 AM

I'm watching the Steamboat doc right now. I'm enjoying it, but it's droning on a bit. Probably because he's not very enthusiastic in his recollections. He's talking a lot, obviously, and it's pretty slow.

He's one of my favorites though and the further it gets into his actual career the better it gets.

I watched like 3 docs before this. I found the Big Show one really interesting. I threw it on in the background thinking I wouldn't be that entertained but it totally grabbed me.
I loved that it was more about his life/condition than just his in ring career.

Jordan 03-16-2011 12:39 AM

Seen Larger Than Life, and History of Wrestlemania, both are really great and nostalgic. Not too much info I didn't know however.

Jeritron 03-16-2011 12:43 AM

I don't know if I can bring myself to watch the Hardys doc at this point in time

Evil Vito 03-16-2011 12:45 AM

<font color=goldenrod>History of WrestleMania is awesome. Interesting to hear that most of the wrestlers don't like the big stadiums because you can't hear the crowd when you're in the ring, the sound travels upward. But a lot of guys say Vince wants to have it in stadiums every year from now on. Hope they make an exception for WM 30.

Also in the section about Taker's streak...wonder if WWE regret having Triple H outright say "I don't think anybody will beat Undertaker's streak."</font> :shifty:

That's because you morons insist on doing stupid shit like "paying your artists" and "offering rights" to them, to boot.

Don't worry, you'll figure it out eventually.

Jordan 03-17-2011 08:19 PM

Okay so I am watching the 50 greatest Superstars and Cena and the Miz are both really fucking annoying. They try to act like they know everything about the past geh, give me a break assholes.

I thought he said "I don't think anybody SHOULD beat Undertaker's streak."

BigDaddyCool 03-18-2011 09:57 AM

Wow, what made WWE finally start putting things on netflix? Well at least netflix streaming.

SonOfAnarchy26 03-18-2011 10:35 AM

WOW, there is so much wrestling streaming now. I just saw this so Im just tuning in after this huge update. Im starting with the true story of WM and then its either the rise and fall of wcw or the bobby heenan doc...

BigDaddyCool 03-23-2011 10:16 PM

I'm watching the jericho on right now, and I have one thing to say.

I remember watching that one on dvd and saying "who the hell is that?!?!"

Corndad 03-30-2011 12:52 PM

Watched the Cena DVD. Cena seems like a stand up guy. It's too bad there was that period that WWE pushed him down our throats with poop jokes and turned a lot of people off. He seems like a genuine guy and came off as someone ordinary living his dream. New found respect for Cena the guy.

Shisen Kopf 06-01-2011 10:41 PM

The Rock's DVD is now on here too

The Nitro DVD is now streaming.

http://movies.netflix.com/WiMovie/WW...?trkid=2361637

James Diesel 07-20-2011 01:20 PM

So are the DVD's gonna just start including all matches now? I haven't seen the Nitro one yet but with Rock and DX, it definitely makes them more worth the watch.

they now have the Very Best of WCW Nitro on netflix

Nitro ones worth it. Been watching it last couple of days.

Juan 07-24-2011 04:45 PM

Is it just me, or is the Nitro DVD way edited on Netflix? I was looking thru the DVD listing of the segments/matches and more than half of it was skipped when I watched it on Netflix

Loose Cannon 07-24-2011 04:55 PM

yea, it's cut down from 10 hours to like 2.5 hours from what I read. I can't even get the stream to work for some reason. it craps out like 5 seconds in

JKWJRMON 07-24-2011 05:16 PM

It's great seeing it all on NEtflix

James Diesel 07-24-2011 05:40 PM

I've been trying to watch it and it just shows a green bar. Fuck netflix

Xero 07-24-2011 06:27 PM

Loads fine for me in my browser. You guys using the desktop version or TV?

James Diesel 07-24-2011 06:27 PM

I use Xbox

Xero 07-24-2011 06:28 PM

I'd check my XBox but I can't even get on live right now. Think something's fucked with my ethernet cable and I haven't been assed to fix it for weeks.

James Diesel 07-24-2011 06:34 PM

I guess I was never even a big enough fan of Nitro let alone WCW to care much about the DVD though so I guess I'm okay lol

James Steele 07-25-2011 03:35 AM

I forgot about that awesome Sting/DDP World Title match, but thankfully DDP reminded us that the match was pointless since they had a Fatal 4 Way later that night where he won the belt back. :nono:
